ONS was not a dare. It was her last resort. It was a daring last resort. For some people suicide is also a last resort this doesn't mean they are daring to jump off 10th floor without parachute.

If she was daring, she would have exposed Viaan after ONS. She was cautious that was the point of the character. Yes, at a point in life, she was daring but, not now. Viaan also asked same question to her when they were eating icecream - "Ab wo risk taker aur daring Katha Kahan hai?"

I know why Katha is getting all the bashing now. I used to do the same.

And this whole man of the house thing becomes all the more cringeworthy because FL is single mom who was independent, took care her ill child, managed everything from finances to emotional support.

And after doing all that as a proud single mother (woman) she gives the whole concept to her son about there has to be a man of the house otherwise they are incomplete. And to add to the irony her 10 year old child assumes that role and also start behaving like one and she doesn't find anything wrong in that.

What you were speaking in that post was misleading. Don't know how you concluded that out of that episode. Also, I am tired of writing long threads and you said you don't write long threads. Had to say something, that came to my mind it was vague that I agree with. It was indeed a very bad defence.

You also said that Katha was interested in Viaan that's why she went with ONS. There are multiple lenses to see everything

I agree there are multiple lenses. But, this is nonsense. In that way, I can say Earth is flat not round. If you can say that then you can say anything. But, kya kr sakte hai forum decorum hai. We can agree or disagree or ignore. Bhale heen baatein jute khaane waali ho (Applies to me as well).

I still don't consider it as last resort...bcoz I don't rule out Anirudh's offer.(don't want to debate on it anymore.Already has written long threads about it)Wonder what would have she done if Viaan wouldn't have gone for the ONS and refused to give the money.

I told about daring bcoz the writers dared to show a FL going for ONS ...if it would have been other show then miraculously the makers would have shown other "pavitra" way of getting the funds. Yup...she is no more daring now and that's what is making the viewers pissed on her now.
