They don't even kiss in real, it's only acting. I don't think either of them would have a problem with some acting, but doing it on itv is a problem. Still there are hardly any shows that show this kind of intimacy on screen. They even cut kiss scenes in movies before they're aired for tv audience. Doesn't align with our family systems
Its all bullshit yaar. Even itv also had many shows which were much bolder in topics and scenes between the leads. Before ekta ruined itv forever, the 90's shows like hasratein, justujoo, astitva were based matured subjects of infidelity, age gap marriage, cheating in a relationship and featured some bold scenes between the leads.
Ekta's show itself, bade achhe lagte hain shot a kiss between leads.Sony's show Reporters also showed a kiss between leads. Some shows like saara aakash, tujhse hai raabta, fanaa- Ishq mein mar jawan etc showed many bold scenes between the main leads and all were family shows. The audience had received them well.
Its just that itv is still under its cocoon. There is a dearth of good writers. Even if there are good writers then ph, channel interfere in their work. The tendency to avoid unnecessary controversy, not using original content and just reproducing saas bahu concept with different actors etc are the main reasons itv is not progressing in terms of good content and also in showing bold content.
In the reunion bts Viaan was telling Aarav that he has learnt some new moves.May be that's about Karate ...and might be that they went Karate classes or the sports club.Originally posted by: saakkabc

Watched few clips from yesterdays episode and I am glad it's ending
Aarav bana mera protector, he thinks she protects me
Hello, you are her mummy, he is not your father.
Aarav bana man of the house
Hello what women does in home? Follow mans order to exist?

Do not even want to talk about kids overstepping.
We (Arav) can handle everything

Problematic women A to Z.
Katha needed redemption badly but ITV is so obsessed with FLs ethicless ethic.

Yes, calling aarav man of the house was something I found problematic since beginning but it was all wrapped up in cute chemistry of mother son.
I thought this show was different but all itv shows specially the ones which declared themselves as catering to "woke" audience are more regressive than being progressive.

I also thought they jokingly remarks about man of the house but man they were serious
This is so degrading for women. Such a regressive thought in modern bottle.
For a moment I thought she is talking about Viaan that they can handle everything if they are together. Ewww she was talking about her son... disgusting. I needed to watch clip twice to confirm.
Every drama fan says they are unique
U know what....y'day after hearing Katha's dialogue I was totally in a trance.I mean I couldn't believe what even she was saying to Vanya. So didn't comment anything in the EDT .I remember long ago in one of my comment replying to someone I jokingly wrote that Katha made him man of the house and the kid took it seriously. But after y'days episode I was shocked that both Ma-beta took it seriouslyOriginally posted by: _OrChiD_

I mean WTH?? And she didn't even felt the need to rectify her child about this thought. She didn't make him realise that she is the head of the family and has the authority to take the decisions of their lives for the betterment of both of them.I now feel that I wasn't wrong in thinking that if Aarav thinks that it's good for her mother to marry a old man then she will abide by his whims.
Now,if this was their mentality then why even as a viewer we are cribbing about Aarav taking decisions on Katha's behalf??"Aarav independent baccha hai" that's really good but becoming the man of the house in true sense and Katha encouraging that...I really have no words for such bull shit writing!! ITV shows always protray FL as mahaan and sacrifice ki devi...redemption of FL...that is far fetched bcoz in ITV shows FL can never be wrong !!I didn’t know how to react after listening to yesterdays dialogues by Katha. WTH was that? Not at all relatable making a child man of the house. Making your child independent doesn’t mean he can be man of the house. Very poorly written dialogues. She is worried for him, that’s fine to an extent. But rest 😡Originally posted by: divine_16

Katha's whole conversation is so problematic and insulting. I don't know how Vanya sat there, listened those nonsense. Like women can't live without man in home? She literally defending and telling this with confidence.
She would have get married a old man too if man of the house asked her, after all she declared she is slave of man of the house.
