Ehsan is very much part of the show. I think he was busy with other commitments so was absent from the show. They are going to bring a new girl for him or she might be Vanya! Who knows? I think makers also know how everyone is liking Ehsan's character so he will stay relavant for sure!

Call me naive but I have faith in these writers. They must know what they are doing with Katha's character and the direction which they want to take it. Katha will have to face her inner demons before she starts a relationship with Viaan. The ep where Katha saw Adi gives me hope. I love the fact that Adi did not speak a word....it highlighted Katha's subconscious dilemma really well.

I am in this boat tooā¤ļø. I think she is fighting with herself as of now. She sees not only herself, but also her child falling in love with Viaan. For Katha, who believes to have an eternal love story with Adi, alive or not, this is unacceptable😭.

At the moment, instead of introspection/reflection of what she is feeling within herself and being totally honest with herself, she is focusing outwards. So, her immediate suspicion is on Viaan, if he is trying out a back door method to get her to agree by manipulating Aarav. Not necessarily an invalid thought. And so she very cleverly put her interrogation skills to use. I don't think she felt that there was any manipulation from Viaan, in his straightforward answersšŸ‘šŸ¼.

Next up ideally, should have been introspection about why she is feeling so cornered with the revelation of who Robin is. But, she is not there yet. She is irritated because of the discomfort she is feeling. Some of it is the insecurity that her strongest defense of not bringing another man into her life because of her child is also crumbling. So, she will pick on anything to convince herself why she shouldn't be entertaining Viaan.

I think all of this unintentionally came out in her forceful spat- especially speaking about his experience with kids etc. She is irritated as he talks about what kids might like. But, I didn't feel that the argument is necessarily wrong, her reasoning is absolutely on the mark. I am still not seeing the disrespect. I agree with what you said about our lenses.

When I first came to this country and chose to teach, I was shocked when students are not ready to believe in whatever cockamamie facts I was spewing out. I couldn't digest this fact especially coming from a patriarchal society. Today, all I do is create a friction about a concept in the classroom and see how the debate rages onThey learn a lot by challenging me and putting forth their arguments. The concepts are solidly sealed when they leave the sessions. As long as there are valid points with apt justifications, I am willing to hear, no matter how convoluted they are. I am no longer looking at myself as an authority in anything, but more of a facilitator of learning. This changed my whole perspective. If they are not challenging me, I am not doing my job right. So, I really, really welcome a good argument. This is where I am coming from. Enough gyaan for today😃

@Bhavisweet........ thanks for your kind words, my friend😃 I am glad I made you laugh with my nonsense.

Thanks for the tag Mili!

I also think (like most others on the forum), Viaan needs to be physically away from Katha for her to clear her head and realise how he has slowly become an important part of her and Aarav's life. She is totally taking him for granted and bossing him. The points she put forward in the team meeting were good but the way she put it sounded offensive (more personal than professional). The lines are blurred for her now.

Viaan can go to Dubai and not offer to take Katha with him. That will put her off.

Also, I think I read that in the OG there is an incident where there is a plane crash which supposedly had ML travelling on it. But ML had missed that flight. It helps the FL to understand the depth of her feelings for ML. They could do something like that.

She is not interested in Viaan but she finds it alright to ask him to come to the office so that she can grill him. Once she gets what she wants, she walks out ignoring his offer of breakfast. I admit that her points were valid. I am fine with the passion which she displayed but my point is that there was a way to get her points across. In my humble opinion, she walked over Viaan in that meeting. Viaan always treats Katha with more respect than I personally feel that she deserves but you never see Katha reciprocating it. She is hell bent on taking the moral high ground every time. If I were Viaan and I went through so much growth, I would run away from Katha. Right now, she comes across more as a mother than a prospective partner.

I don't think that you are wearing blinders. All of us view from our lens of experience. I understand how you interpreted the episode, and you are right in your way. As for me, I started the show by being a big fan of Katha. I totally related to her, and the strength which she showed by looking after Aarav and meeting her professional commitments. Frankly, I saw myself in her. But once Aarav got well, Katha lost her identity of a mother who cares for a sick child. I see her floundering to find out who she actually is as a person now. What's her current identity? Viaan was wrong to propose ONS but we witnessed Viaan's journey from that point onwards to become the person whom he is today. Many of you had issues from the way he expressed his love. I didn't. I didn't like him behaving as a teenager initially but with hindsight, I understand. Viaan was a prisoner of his experiences and trauma. Katha was the jugnu/trigger which set him free. Adnan is such a fab actor that his earnestness, respect and sincerity always shone through whenever he looked at Katha. I understand that Katha is fighting within the walls which she has enclosed herself in. I totally respect the fact that she does not want to let go of her Adi and betray his memories. But who gave her the right to dictate to Viaan about how he should feel or what he should do? She does not view Viaan as an equal. She never even gives him the respect which he deserves. She has stepped up on a moral high ground, which is now spilling into the work place. I am beginning to feel that Katha is the actual CEO of Earth Con and not Viaan! Earth Con was and is the number one architectural firm. It was number one even before Katha joined. Katha and you and maybe others don't agree with Viaan's perspective because of the security of the children. But as someone who valued her space ever since childhood, I understood Viaan's perspective. We judge a person/character based on our own experiences. Katha may not agree with Viaan but Katha does not get to browbeat her superior in front of junior staff. She can put her point across professionally as discussion is indeed very important but after a point, she should have backed off and maybe have the meeting in private whereby she expressed her concern as a mother vis a vis the project.

Simply expressing how I viewed the ep and characters šŸ¤—

I was wondering why I did not enjoy the episode so much., i think you gave perfect answer for that.. i also dont like the way katha behaves with Viaan well i also dont like how viaan just let her do that and keeps smiling like an idiot when he should be actually reiterating firmly to her that he is the boss...the same thing i felt in previous episode when Viaan tells her that he sensed her nearby in the sports club. Her response was clearly very rude and very unnecessary. I dont know what makers are trying to show from her behavior. Was she angry at him being close to Aarav at that point or angry at him for loving her? Whatever her anger was , I wished Viaan would have felt bad in that scene but instead he was stupidly grinning 😳.

Also Viaan invited katha at his place and has been nice to her in so many occasions saying that she will not entertain her in this house only shows she does not even respect's dodo's friendship with him which has nothing to do with her.

@mili - Nice post dear, I did like the first confrontation between Viaan and Katha where Viaan is telling her about his friendship with Aarav. I liked the fact that Katha did not directly question him but smartly asks him about it. But it is time that Viaan should stop waging his tail around katha and give space to himself. And I would love to see if any confrontation they have regarding Aarav , Viaan should chose his best friend Aarav here and not just hurt poor kid's feelings coz his mom does not like his Robin.

Nice post

IMO Katha strictly needs to accompany Aarav to his school ,she clearly has forgotten manners

No sorry ,No thank u,No hello ka response and no gm ka response

Some one should ask her how she kept eye on Aarav in Karate class ???

The makers have really gone high bcz they clearly are showing her negative light now

I don't think Vaanya did anything wrong ,Katha also used to leave office midway during initial days that too without mentioning any reason to anyone

I agree her problem was really serious but Vanya here was not aware her mother is ordering swiggy after the fall ,i did not find her rude

I like this post bcoz u have valid points about Vanya

On birdie ppl are just after her bcoz she replied back to Katha šŸ˜‚

I mean i don't get the logic katha doing similar things is queen but another female is badtameez just bcoz she is not a chamchi

Come on Vanya band bajao Katha ki ,teach her how it feels when a junior is badtameez

Ur brother has become psycho saint

A lot of us have complained about Katha’s rooka-sookha behavior & rudeness to Viaan. It is just her defence mechanism, she is trying to protect her heart which is clearly doing its own thing & she recognises that tho she doesnt acknowledge it.

Little does she realise that by feeling free to be so rude with Viaan she is lowering the walls of formality & distance between them even more. Think how she rebuffed Ehsan with a mixture of friendzoning & professional formality. She never took the liberty to tell him off or be rude to him.

I have been taking breaks here and there. saw yesterday's episode and as usual, my thoughts are neither here nor there. šŸ˜†

my previous job was a creative one and so it was very natural to have long discussions on all sorts of minor details. we would not hold back. if you come from such an industry/company, you would not find the discussion between katha and viaan within the team as rude or even unusual.

there is no heirachy when we are throwing out ideas and dissecting them. it is simply part of a creative process where we are trying to refine what we were doing and everyone understands the debate is part of the process to make it better. this kind of creative collaboration is very common in certain industries.

however, if your industry or profession does not have that kind of creative component and there is a top-down heirachy, katha's debate with viaan can seem unprofessional.

that said, where katha's actions are questionable and indeed rude is when she has a one-on-one meeting with viaan where she questions his knowledge because he isn't a parent.

depending on one where one is in life, that can be painful and be an insult. there is a lot of unexplained infertility on the rise (both husband and wife are healthy but not able to get pregnant). imagine if katha said something like this to someone who wants to be a parent. or say someone who is struggling with infertility or not being able to get married, then indeed her comment was below the belt.

so while she is free to have her thoughts and ideas as a parent, it does not mean her being a parent makes her the expert view. one could question why she is allowing her son to have unsupervised friendship with adult. there are lots of questionable choices she herself makes as a parent which means she too is flawed. so as ehsaan said, it does not mean one has to have field knowledge (such as a doctor) to build a hospital. however, the concerns of someone on field should be taken into consideration.

so I didn't see a problem with the team meeting or even most of the one-on-one. the final comment was personal and unnecessary -- that was rude. that is not the way to have a creative discussion or debate. if you disagree, say you disagree. you don't need to put the other person down in order to justify your view. in other words, katha comes across a bit like those crazy fans who devolve into insults in order to make their point šŸ˜

there are certain lessons in my view:

katha acts this way with viaan because she has no respect for him deep down. she thinks she is better than him because in her mind, as a mother, her ONS was totally acceptable whereas he was the sleazy pervert in some ways. till she accepts that she participated as an adult with her fully expressed consent and therefore responsible as well, she will not be accept viaan in some ways.

perhaps the only way that will happen is if someone like reet shows the mirror and asks why she didn't just take the offer from pyramid or even beg continously from papaG instead of doing the ONS. till katha accepts the role she played in how the ONS happened, she will continue to look down on viaan in some ways. right now she has compartmentalized his actions as trauma and there is a patronizing advice type element happening. viaan also added to this by calling her his light etc etc etc. šŸ™„

in his guilt, viaan bent over backwards and almost glorified her as Mother (capital M). he never pushed back and said "I gave you the option to leave. why didn't you? why didn't you just tell me the truth that you needed the money for this? why did you lie about your background in your job?". not once, has he questioned katha or her choices. so right now, she is like his idol and he has stars in his eyes. so obviously, she is only going to look down on him.

some have noted that she is respectful with teji and reet -- well obviously! these two women will not take katha's lectures or nonsense. I wish reet was funny villain but otherwise, she is spot on when she pushes katha back with her comments. she does not give katha an inch to lecture and immediately stands her ground. what does that show -- katha respects those who push back. if not, she has a tendency to boss over them. saint viaan is not helping himself by being a pushover.

it also does not help that viaan has not acted in a manner deserving respect. he lost his sheen when he acted like a teenager and was mooning. while some praised him for being firm with teji and reet in a polite tactful way, I still found viaan below the mark. 🤷 (mili -- I would have responded in your previous post and tags but I was just feeling too lazy to write)

yes, he held his ground but he still comes across as a lovesick puppy who is all happy in love. he hasn't given up on katha despite her 'no' and has no intention of moving on. is that healthy? so that only adds to the perception that viaan is immature and not an adult -- another reason for katha to not respect him.

so here is the takeaway -- if you don't respect yourself, someone you love will not respect you either. till viaan learns to meld the viaan 1.0 (the tough CEO) with viaan 2.0 (the saint), katha is going to walk all over him. but I don't blame katha because saint viaan is just so boring. šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼šŸ˜‚
