okay manpreet bohut hi aachai likah hai, im impressed, yeah devika does care about money and status and to an extent i have to say on does need these things in life but not at the expense of you kids happiness...when i say status i mean you dont want to be made a fool of infront of the presses, which has happened cause robbie has thrown his career down the drain, while pinning away for kasturi.

@tasu 786 and rkfan sorry but i have to disagree fasad ki jhaar devika nahin hain, infact id say fasad ki jhaar to kasturi ke lies thi.. that got the ball rolling devika just used what was avaliable to her..infact devika's plans never worked in succeeding to break robnad kas up, it was the abortion papers that kastur supplied to devika that broke them up...and thats why i dont even blame divya, i blame kasturi causee robbie when he say kasturi's name on the abortion papaer he lost it, not cuase of anything devika said or did. i think any mom would have done what devika did , yeah not in that manner but defintely would have shown the abortion papers to their son, before they got them married to such a girl, the rest of the fall out lands in robbie lack of questioning kasturi and kasturi for writing her name on the paper.

False, she does not care for her childs.
1-She only cares for money
2-If she does care for her childs then happiness of the child is very importent wich she broke.....for money
3-She used her daughter for breaking a relashionship of his son
4-She is selfish
5-Well i guess she is just acting to care about her kids otherwise who will do this to there kids.

Robina: I agree that to some extent she was not the only cause for RK breakup...kasturi's lies and Robbie's anger...Raunak's hiding nature are really the main reasons! But what I dont approve is the way she manipulated things! Even when she saw kasturi's name on the abortion papers she didnt believe it! 😲 If she had not shown that to Robbie maybe he wouldnt have found out and maybe by that time kasturi might had told Robbie eveerything!

I dont think Devika did all this as to protect Robbie from the pain love gives...she has just used this statement to convince Robbie! Even when she talked to Alaana or her hubby(forgot his name) she never mentioned anything of this sort! She was always confiding with them that she doesnt want this do-takhe ki ladki as her bahu! That means it is all for money she has been doing! Okay even if she did it for money I would never agree with her back hand methods she used to do it! She used to behave as if she understood Robs in front of him while backstabbing him! As a mother I can never accept any backstabbing tricks with your own kids! Devika is too stubborn with her own ideas and would never see anything from another POVs even Robs!

Don't you think Robbie takes after his mom? After all he is pretty scheming & manipulative these days? I should go hide somewhere after that comment.

I think Devika is the only well defined character in this show - her actions are always consistent with her character.
On a lighter note, I think real life parents do show some Devika like traits (not in the way of runing lifes normally but in trying to force their will on you). Dont make faces 😊 , haven't your parents ever forced you into anything? Not allowing to go to a school trip, forcing to visit relatives, studies, marriage etc etc. Regarding lying, dunno about other moms, but mine failed to give me my ex-BF's messages very regularly 😉

Hi RK_fan foresure i totally see what you are saying she was backstabbing robbie with her evil bag of tricks, and truly as mothers you and I both know that it wont work on kids, but here is something i want to say, the more a parent tries to stop their kids from doing something the more likely they will want to do it, so therefore she did have to show her duplicity inorder to get her end result which was kasturi out of robbie's life because she felt kasturi wasn't the right girl for robbie, but the reason for this thread was does a east indian parent have a right to choose what type of girl or boy enters their childs life? If this was a western soap opera the question would not have risen at all for me? please do answer cuase i'm sort of confused now myself? i agree kasturi is truly a sansakri girl, but loooking at her behavior as of right now, was devika right to break them up, cuase it would seem as though kas is ruining ronauks life as well?

@Anjudiva good too see you here, i was wondering if you would comment, i was thrilled when i saw your name, thank you i always need the blessing cant get enough of those now aday 😉 especially after posting this thread 😆 I totally agree the apple never fall too far from the tree, robbie does have a heriditary streak of scheming, meaness and he gets it from both puru and devika, and my husband was thrilled someone had the guts to say devika is consistent with her character that is why he likes her the most, so you just made his evening he is grinnning at me as i type this to you, and yep and you hit the nail straight on, what east indian parents doesn't want to control their kids to some extent?
