Robina, one of these days, I was expecting this topic from you...Now keep posting something in this thread everyday and make sure it is on the first page of the section, then your wish to make a 'sticky' for Devika will also be fulfilled😉😆...

Ok, my views are some what similar to that of sp79(shweta's)..Don't want to bore you with writing them again...

However, I disagree with people who hate Devika because she is the reason for the 3 protagonist's misery...Had she gone ahead and created those circumstances where they were caught, then I would agree that Devika was the reason..She just made use of the bumper bonanzas offered by them...Like I have always said, Devika is NOT the culprit of the Trinity...So that way I don't hate her...😳😉

Nice topic and heed to beagelboy's advice..You are treading on a dangerous path😉😛...😆😆😆

Hey to my darlings that posted raksha,beagleboy, sp79, man how i luved your comments, okay there is an international law regarding no mans territory, and that is where my thread shall remain? 😉 the one with the most might wins it, and i feel this statment suits my dear devil oops darn why does devil come typing out instead of devika did our writers call her that on purpose? 😡 i dont find that funny 😕

@beagleboy, on the contrary i feel she has let her kids make their own choices, she let alaana marry that skirt chasing, money mongerring, fool Puchki.
she let robbie and kas go off together, and didnt raise an eyebrow, untill their backs were turned, and also she let shivani just live her life, didnt bother to check out if she was fine or not, takes a lot of will power to let your kids tread on the path you dont want to see them going on. and then try to fix 😉 their mess. again i agree with @krishi said that if KP did get married their would have been huge problems cuase Kasturi would probably still be sharing things with his best friend that she should have been sharing with robbie. So I would say that Devika has incredible foresight... 😉

@Shwetha, its a soo sweet of you to comment agree with your comments more or less, and your closinging sentence, devika may have thought she was doing right but it she failed in acheiving her end result, but i felt there somewhere in the recess of her heart she honestly didn't want robbie to feel the humilation and pain she suffered through puru's actions... and maybe before all the evilness that now surrounds devika their once was a women who wanted nothing more then to have a luving husband and a happy family... yeah right 😉

i think robina is right.Devika also got betrayed by puru uncle like said in the begginning.its not her fault that she has got soooooooooooooooo much bitterness in her self.n she doesnt want robbie to go through she went to.(duh!!!!!he is already suffering)So wat was wrong with it.The thing about taking kasturi away from robbie was the wrong thought but she did that for a good cause not a good cause but wat she thought at the moment was right.

I'm not completely against Devika because the lead trio has also made mistakes along their way to get where they are, but Devika definitely made things worse by not being an understanding mother. She thought she knew her son and that he wanted to concentrate on his career etc, but she couldn't see what he really wanted, which was only and only Kasturi at one time and that's where his happiness was. Devika also missed the changes Katuri brought in Robbie and the way he handled his responsibilities only after Kasturi entered his life.

P.S: No offence meant to fans of Devika 😳

hi fariha no offence taken believe me, i thought i'd be thrown out of here for posting such a remark, its true democracy lives in the heart of mankind... and noone makes this statement more true then devika, she keep going, doesn't matter if she feels right now her son is in tremendous amount of pain she will continue till he finally see the light she wants him to see, sometime kids have mothers that find it hard to let go of their children and want that control, i'm not saying she's right but it is a very true character that she is protraying, and yes she does go over the top in terms of her scheming, but does she really ever lie to Robbie, i dont think so, and that is what endears robbie and devika to me, they twist and turn the way they want something, but they dont lie, at least not that i can recall, so if im wrong please correct me.

@mandy123, thanks for your reply, yeah she defintely has her ideas and she feels shes right, and here the crux of her problem she wants her children to be rich and famous and happiness as far as she knows comes through these means. just her side of the coin...

I think everybody has said what I wanted to say and shwetha has summed it up well!! To some extent I agree with Robina that Devika's life has been tough and her behaviours can be attributed to that...but I feel very sad to see a mother all out to crush her sons love in the most brutal and hideous manner! She has used the most unacceptable ways to destroy his love! She claims to understand her son....but it is hard to agree! She is so much into money that she failed to see how happy her son was when he was in love.

Actually if she was a good mother she could have altered the whole situation! Even after kas marriage she still seems to have not understood the impact it has on Robbie...I feel very sad for him! 😭

But my son as I told is a big fan of Devika...he just loves her scheming plots and he is most happy to see her coming out successful everytime! You have to give credit for her astuteness and she very well knows how to exploit others weak points! 😉

like swetha & shruti said ki devika maa hoker bhi apne bete ko samaj nahi payi aur uski nazer meh middle class ki koi value bhi nahi hai she is very greedy person ki jo sirf apne bacho ki bajaye paise aur status se pyar karti hai ki.... uske liye haad se jayada gir sakti hai .aur wo samajti hai ki kasturi ki wajah se robbie ka carrier khrab ho jayega ....halaki wo janti hai ki robbie kastu se bahut pyar karta hai ....in sab baato ko dekhte huye kaha ja sakta hai ki devika is wrong

But another side mera sochna hai ki ager hum devika ko maa na samaj ker normal ek person samja jaye to devika sirf robbie ko pyar ke dard se bachana chahti hai ....

cos yee hum nahi jante ki devika pyar ko dard kyo samajti hai aur hum yee bhi nahi jante ki puru aur devika ka past kya hai ,cos serial meh sirf yahi bataya gaya hai ki puru ka affair tha ...par hume yee nahi maloom ki akir in dono ki duri ki asli wajah kya hai aur dono meh se galat kaun hai

ager puru ne dhokha diya hai to wo nahi chahti ki robbie ko dard mile and ager devika galat hai to hume wait karna hoga ki aakir sachayi kya hai ....

but main to devika ki fan nahi hoon 😆 but phir bhi main kehti hoon ki devika sahi bhi hai aur galat bhi hai ...
Sahi isliye ki wo yee nahi chati ki jo mere saath huya wo mere bete ke saath ho and galat isliye ki paisa hi sab kuch nahi hota cos paise se wo asho aram ki cheeze to kharid sakti hai par pyar aur dil ka sukoon nahi kharid sakti

and about status to dear india meh aaj bhi amir aur garib ka farak kiya jata hai har amir apne baraber yaa apne se amir ke saath rishta jordna pasand karta hai ..yahi same devika ke saath bhi hai ..cos wo bhi yahi chahti hai ki sari dunyia mere aur mere bete ke kadmo meh ho .....

Robina jo dil meh aaya likh diya but i don't know ki sahi hai ki nahi .. 😆

but personaly i hate devika 😡 as character wise but as actor she is good 👏
