Prerna was strong & independent from the beginning itself

Prerna has many times proved in the last 250 episodes that she is a strong & independent girl or lady.

Otherwise she would not have shown the courage to help her friends to elope.

Otherwise she would not have decided to sacrifice her life for her family.

Otherwise she would not have filed a case against Ronit, son of the powerful minister Choubey and brother of the very famous Komolika.

Otherwise she would not have shown the courage to come back to BB after getting insulted.

Otherwise she would not have survived in BB where she was insulted & harassed daily.

Otherwise she would not have shown the courage to expose Komo, after knowing how dangerous she was and was behind the death of her father.

And finally she would not have taken on her shoulders the responsibilty of meeting Bajaj, especially when she was the only one apart from Anu who knew how dangerous he was.

What she lacked is the skill to use her brains and the discerning power to know who is black, grey or white. Also, at times she lack confidence in herself whereas at times she thinks she is the only mahaan in this world. That is it. So, if some new viewers, or even EK wants to portray now that Prerna is not strong & independent, in no way we AnuPreians will accept it.

The thing with Prerna is that she loves too much. And she doesn'tthink twice before sacrificing herself. And to her, making deals or accepting proposals are good options, because the only negative thing about them is that she will be unhappy and that’s nothing compared to the happy, peaceful smile of her loved ones. Her love is so powerful that she forgets that there are people who love her - whose happiness lies in her happiness. On top of this all consuming love, she is young, unemployed and yet to finish her education. She finds herself in situations where she has nothing to offer except for herself, so she does it.

She didn't have a job, so she couldn't do anything during Naveen track. Except getting married to the guy. And she was well on her way to sacrifice herself for her family.

Again, when it came to Bajaj, she found herself in a situation where she would be able to fix everything, if only she could sacrifice herself. So she did. But that didn't solve anything, it only made things worse.

And she has no one to guide her through this mess, because no one knows what she did. She didn't tell anyone. She never discusses the situation before sacrificing herself. In both cases, she had her family to turn to. People with more experience in this world, people who would see through her foolish plans but she didn't tell anyone because she didn't want to add on to their troubles, didn't want them to suffer from the guilt. And for her to remain strong and independent in a way that makes sense, she needs to let go of the notion that her life, her happiness are trading goods. She can't walk into situations and she can't offer herself in exchange of stuff.

For those who feel Prerna is a weak-willed girl and she needs someone's sahaara to be strong & independent. Ek baar uski aanken se parda hata dein, you will see her Durga roop.

For those who feel that she is not strong enough to face her opponent. It's just because Bajaj manipulated the whole scene with the help of Ronit and put a bargain of Anu's life in front of her. Otw, he would have seen a different roop of Pre, when it came to the matter of her loved ones.

I don't know what does it mean by being independent to some people. Here is the proof when she came back to BB to fight back for her rights, even when she was aware that she will be fighting a lone-battle. Only towards the end Vikrant came. Till that time, she didn't have anyone's support or help, except for the occassional distractions Anu did with Komo, so that she will not target Pre. If she could do it then, then why would she need a man's support now to become independent?

Strong for me in this show meant the lovestory of two soulmates.....Anurag and Prerna before this deal marriage knew that love, that was their strength...each other. They still are but butchered

Strong can mean anything but for this show and for prerna it's was her capacity to love....she loved her family in Naveen babu track, and when she realized she loves anurag, there was no turning back until she had to do the deal marraige just to save that same anurag for whom she was willing to destroy her entire being...that was love and that gave her strength to save her life....her anurag.

But now that love has changed..brutally so to accommodate someone else. Hope the love was tested against time and kasuattis with some logicality but alas this it ITV for you...

Prerna was never strong and independent.

during naveen babu , she simply agreed to marriage him without any giving it back . if there would not anurag she would marry naveen babu.

during komolika track , she was simply a home breaker who came on basis of a illogical dhaga marriage to break another married woman's home . if she had some guts then she fought alone against anukom, never would beg the sindur ka kimat . she would develop her own skill to change her situation .

that is prerna in kzk who has 0 self respect and no consistency.

Prerna is not a doormat yes but there's inconsistency in her characterization this season. She's not assertive enough,intuitive enough,way more impulsive. Being strong and independent means standing up for yourself and not letting yourself be manhandled and talked down. In 2019,offering yourself as a sacrificial lamb at every instance cannot be called strong and independent. Dimaag lagana parega. Also the fact that she is still into Anurag after all the things he has said and done. Its not really something a strong and independent girl will take tbh.

I just hope at the end of this track they show her calling out on all wrong happened to her..she has been shown a naive girl who more than wrong tries to see the good part of the person irrespective of their intentions...

She had given up on her hopes and had wholeheartedly accepted Naveen's deal and was also shown admiring him for helping her family thinking he is not that bad..

She knew how obsessive Komolika was...still she never doubted kom..wen Komolika has tried to poison mohini she had sent prerna away saying anurag was calling her ..n wen anurag said no she thought Komolika might have misinterpreted anurag n never for a second gave it another thought...

Bajaj is also playing mind games with her . He also cracked a deal with her and asked for loyalty then gave his daughter's responsibility..he even used her against anurag for winning that swiss deal ..he is still using her to hurt anurag...n still pretending as if it's all Anurag's fault n hence he is teaching him a lesson..Bajaj also has helped prerna's mom in the hours of need and hence she is thinking he is a good man...but I hope by the end of this track atleast prerna understands that the world is not naive as she thinks..ppl don't help anyone without any intention (quoting anurag's Dial from Vikrant's track)...at least I hope she learns from her mistake by the end of this track..if bajaj's character is getting whitewashed completely prerna can forgive him but hope they never show her falling in love with him at least for now and set wrong examples for girls out there...

Prerna Sharma needs to apply her brain too while deciding something along with her heart...n also understands how much it hurts her lived ones wen she hurt herself to save them or for their happiness...

I have not seen KZK during this time. I stopped seeing after the episode where Moloy comes during her aashirwaad ceremony with Naveen and she refuses to tell him the truth.

So a genuine question to Prerna fans

Why do you guys appreciate her during the Anurag Komo marriage phase? Forcefully staying at a house of your lover, who has married someone else and whose family has relentlessly insulted you and your family...how is this courage or strength?

Again, I am not trying to insult any fan base...I'm genuinely curious...just trying to understand your POV
