My two cents on Anurag!

I’ve been watching the show and the posts and I’d like to share my view also.

Anurag is good - Yes! I love him absolutely. Is he positive white shaded character - Yep ! Can he make mistakes? Of course, to err is human. Is he justified- No!

I will not justify Anurag slapping Prerna with any reason this earth, be Prerna slapping him before, Bajaj playing with Prerna’s emotions so on and so forth. No matter what he is wrong, he shouldn’t have raised hand against Prerna ( I don’t support Women hitting men as well). Especially when there was nothing else he was to be blamed for. I will not buy the fact that, he did the same with Komo, so he should have understood. Did Prerna understand that? I’m assuming she was the one who started this brilliant idea of marrying someone to save the house, life or anything as a matter of fact of your loved one? She couldn’t understand Anurag in Komo track and Anurag isn’t able to understand now. Because that’s exactly what a heartbreak does to you, you stop thinking straight, you go in defensive or aggressive mode. I cannot blame Anurag here, he just had a massive heartbreak and we are expecting him to understand? Also Prerna did insult their love, Rajesh was mistreated by Mohini and not Anurag or his father, if she was so good, she should have spoke up then and not today. But we can understand that Prerna did all this for Anurag, but should he understand? No, it’s perfectly okay.

So for me, Anurag’s pain, anger , ego everything is justified except his slap.

Since you mentioned positive shade, I'll just address that. He's white shaded or positive or whatever the term is, in reality no one is fully white or black or fully grey too. There are hues of everything in everyone. But in stories, we do have positive characters, negative ones, Grey ones. And positive ones represent goodness, and when they err, it isn't easy to brush it off, coz they are not supposed to err in the first place. Because, in a story, this positive character represents goodness. They can go through heartbreaks but they are still supposed to be good through that. See Prerna. I don't see one God saving logic in that character, but she's a good character. Which is why she lies to him, even though, any erring human, would at least feel hurt that after ruining her own life for the dude, he slaps her based on her words.

I agree to your words on the characters, but not entirely on Prerna. She is good character no doubt, but that does that mean she can take decisions on behalf of Anurag? No, she cannot. She cannot break his heart, just coz he did once before. Did she deserve the slap, no . As I mentioned in my post itself i will not justify it but that’s about it, every where else she is wrong and there is no denial in that, atleast for me

Hehehe i was waiting for your reply! But on a serious note, i love Parth and that doesn’t mean I support every act of Anurag . I’ve loved Shakti Arora while hating Kunal in Silsila , Zoya in Bepannah while being mad about Jenny. So thats me, open forum, so peace dear.

So there are two acts of Bajaj, can you guarantee that you would like both of them? Just coz you didn’t like one, will that stop you from defending the other act? I hope no right! No where I defended the slap.
