okay guys, here is the next update

RECAP: mukti was harassed by a few guys down the bus stop and prem saved her while he was on the way back home. Prena is the happiest mom alive.

Prem went back to his room after Mukti had left for the out-house. He still remembered those words that came from her mouth "Thanks Prem". He was so totally in love with Mukti. On reaching his room, he went by the window to get some fresh air into his room.He closed it when he saw her. There she was looking out of the window apparently staring at something. He looked into the direction that she was looking at and there he saw that there was a full moon. So beautiful and standing there. Not a single crack was in there, just like with Mukti. He started comapring the moon's beauty with hers thinking:

P: she is just so BEAUTIFUL. no-one in this entire world could be that wonderful. She is just like the moon. She shines all the time. A complete moon- for me makes her complete. She is the one for me, i just know it. Its written in my heart that Mukti is the girl of my dreams. She is the one i wanna spend my life with.

He sat there on the windowsill, thinking about her and how her personality is (what mother india told him about her basically). Mukti on the other hand, saw prem and they had a little eye-lock session. For about a good 5 mins, they had just sat there staring at each other. Feeling a bit embarrassed, Mukti broke the session and closed the window, but just before she done that, she looked at Prem one last time finding out that he was still looking at her shamelessly. She waved and signed good-night. After that she closed her window and switched off her light going to bed. He waved back smiling at her window. He was happy with the moment that they had just shared through the eyes. He too switched off his light and went to bed not being able to sleep.

Some-one was watching all this through their window. Prena was looking at the sight between Prem & Mukti. She felt really happy. Thinking that Mukti was starting to like Prem as well, she went to bed switching off her bed-side lamp smiling. This might was a night to remember.

NEXT MORNING:

Prem woke up early to the sound of the morning prayer thinking that Mother India would give him bhashan if he didn't wake up early. So after having a quick shower and quickly getting dressed into a simple white t-shirt and blue jeans, he made his way downstairs only to find Mukti with the pooja thali in her hands and doing the prayer. He was amazed at her voice. No-one else was awake. It seemed like she was the only one apart from him. Smiling at her, he walked up to her and stood beside her with his hands folded. Hearing the noise, Prena came from upstairs finding an remarkable sight. Prem and Mukti were downstairs infront of the Krishna and Radha idol praying together. She along with the rest of residence of the house joined them two and did the pooja with them. Mukti finished to find a sight behind her back. Everyone including prem was standing there smiling at her. She walked up to Prena and took her blessings and gave her the prasad, next she went to Mr. Bajaj and took his blessings and then gave everyone prasad. She finally came up to Prem and put the tikka on his head. After saying byes, she took one-last look at prem who didn't see her. She smiled at the sight of him and walked out of the house. Sneha saw the sight from Mukti. She grinned and walked over to her mom who was talking on the phone to Anurag. Telling her what she saw about Mukti looking at Prem, Prena told this to Anurag who told this to the whole family back at his house. Everyone was so happy that day but the most happiest of was PREM! He couldn't believe what he heard from sneha about Mukti stealing glances from him. Prem was so happy that he couldn't hold his happiness. He hugged his mother, his sister and his dad Anurag. All he had to do was to tell Mukti his feelings and maybe she would also feel the same way towards him to but he wasn't going to do it just yet. He could wait for a while couldn't he? Yes he could. He couldn't wait till he told her. Oh, how he was looking forward for that day when he will tell how much he loves her!

Prem waited for Mukti to come back. She had gone over to her friends house to get back her letter as she she had forgotten it over there. He was pacing the room all the way round. Sneha saw him pacing really fast. To try and calm him down, she re-assured him that Mukti does feel for him but just hasn't realized it yet.

S: stop worrying Prem, she does feel for ya only not realized it yet
P: but sneha, what if she doesn't feel the same way as me. I'll be TOTALLY heartbroken if she doesn't. I wanna spend the reat of my life with her and only her. If she can't be mine, then she can't be anyone elses
S: oh Prem, shut the crap would you, listen, you and Mukti are MADE for each other okay so no worries alrite.
P: if you say so but i still mean what i said before "If she can't be mine, then she can't be anyone elses".
S: whteva prem.

She left the room leaving him to his thoughts

PRECAP: Prem, what would you say to some-one that you like them but you only just met them?

awsome update! prem is so cute...i wonder if his lines "if she cant be mine, she cant be anyone elses" is foreshadowing! hmm i cant wait for more! and who cares if you dont get 9 comments, you should continue for those who really love your ff!

RECAP: Prem and Mukti have little scene while looking out the window and Prem is double happy that Mukti might have some feelings for him

Pr: yeh Mukti abhi tak wapas kyun nahin ayi?
MB: prena, she will come. Its only half 8.
Pr: that its Mr.Bajaj. Mukti usually comes home before 8:00 but today she isn't back yet.

Just then, Mukti walks through the door and sees Prena and Mr.Bajaj sitting on the sofa talking about something.

M: kya howa choti ma?
Pr: Mukti, where were you? You know, i was so worried about you!
MB: prena she just came through the door, let her sit down.
Pr: whteva Mr.Bajaj.

Mr.Bajaj was a bit shocked at what prena had just said but he shook it off. Prena and Mukti were talking and he was about to go upstairs when Mukti called him

M: uncle, choti ma i have to tell you something.
Pr: what is it Mukti?
MB: haan beta, tell us what is the matter, did anyone hurt you again?
M: no uncle nutting like that happen. I don't wanna get you all hyped up around me but i have some news for you and I think that you are gonna be so happy.
Pr: tells us beta
M: okay choti ma, well i got my letter back which had my results on it and i got all A* grades and got the highest marks in the class in all exams.
Prena & Mr.Bajaj were really happy to hear what Mukti had just said and hugged her and gave her their blessings. They had always expected her to do well and their wishes were accepted by God. But neither knew what else Mukti was about to tell them.

M: wait choti ma, i have something else to tell you as well. With my letters i got this other letter which came from America. Its a scholarship to go and do University over there in the U.S.A. Its really high-tech over there. I haven't really posted the application form coz I need parent/guardian permission and I want one of you to sign this. Please choti ma, I really want to go. Pretty please choti ma.

Prena was shocked. Lost for words she looked at Mr.Bajaj who was in the same state as Prena. They knew Prem would be heartbroken about this if they let Mukti go but what they didn't know that Prem was hearing all this from upstairs. Shocked and heartbroken he was. He made his way downstairs and spoke

P: maa, daddy kool let her go. If she wants to go to the Uni, then let her go.
Prena and Mr.Bajaj stood there paralysed at his words. They knew how much he loved her but what he just said was out of the world.
Prem knew what they were gonna say so he signalled a sign saying " don't say a word"

Pr: okay Mukti, you can go
MB: yeah you can go. here let me sign it.
He signs it and Mukti thanks him and runs out of the house leaving a heartbroken Prem.

Pr: you let her go that easily.
P: mom, look, if she loves me, then she won't go but if she doesn't..............Prem didn't want to think about that so he went upstairs leaving a teary Prena.

NEXT DAY:

Mukti comes to Bajaj house to take everyone's blessings as Prena was holding a Pooja so even the Basu pariwaar came along as well. Prena told Anurag about Mukti to which he said

A: i already knew about the scholarship but Mukti didn't want to tell anyone as she wanted to tell everyone herself.
Pr: woh sab to tekhe hain Anurag par Prem.........
A: kya howa prem ko?
P: what is gonna happen to him? bechara, he has lost himself completely. It was his decision to let Mukti go. And she told him about last night, how prem heard everything and told her to let Mukti go.
A: prem ne teekh nahin kya hain prena. How can he let her go like that?
Pr: that is what i said to him aswell Anu but he just said " mom, look, if she loves me, then she won't go but if she doesn't". That's what he said to me Anurag. Now you tell me, what should I do for him. I can't do anything for my son coz all this is in Mukti's hands now. His life is in Mukti's hands not ours.
A: let me talk some sense into him. Kahan hain woh?
Pr: in his room. totally heartbroken he is. didn't even come downstairs for breakfast.
A: okay i'll go now to talk with him

He goes upstairs and goes into prem's room finding him on the window sill with dried tears down his cheek. Anurag walked over to him

A: prem........
P: huh, what? oh hi dad. s'up?
A: prem, prena told me what happened. How can you let her go like that?
Prem was lost for words.
A: dekho prem, if you love her then you should tell her. I don't want my son to make the same mistake that I made. Don't let her go so easily Prem. If you love her, then tell her straight away. Prem, you have found some-one who you can love and share the rest of your life with. tell your sorrow and happiness to. Mukti is the girl who you wanna spend the rest of your life with, you said so yourself and you told me remember.
P: yeah dad, but she really wants to go. How can I do that? If she really wants to go there then who am I to stop her?
A: you are the eprson who loves even more than his own self.
People say it rite " pyaar mein insaan pagal ho jate hain"
Prem laughed at that and so did Anurag.
P: you are right dad, i shouldn't let her go like that so easily should I?
A: NO you should NOT!
P: yeh you are rite. God dad, you are the BEST you know that! I'm so glad, not to mention LUCKY to have a dad like you.
He hugged his dad who hugged him back and on letting go, Prem ran out the room not seeing his mom on the way out.

Prena who had seen everything between the father and son became happy and walked into the room finding a HAPPY & SMILING Anurag. They both went downstairs together to find that Prem was over there standing with Tushar & Kuki talking to them whereas Mukti and Sneha And Vishaka was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for everyone. Mukti came over to Prem wanting to ask him something.

M: thanks Prem for making choti ma and uncle letting me go
P: no problem.
M: well anyway i have to head back or Sneha is gonna kill me
Prem laughed and Mukti grinned a bit. She turned and starting walking when at that moment she turned again to face prem who was still looking at her smiling.

M: Prem what would you say to some-one that you like them but you only just met them?
P: Dunno depends on how you put it Mukti, Why do you ask?
M: oh just asking that's all and she headed back to the kitchen finding an awemost smiling Sneha and Vishaka in there.
M: what?
S: oh nothing.
M: Sneha......
S: well okay, we saw how you were talking to our brother and it looked like someone has the HOTS for him
M: I DO NOT have the HOTS for Prem. He is your brother and choti ma's son. Choti ma is llike a mother to me and he is her son not nephew or whteva other relationships there can be between them two.
V: fine but if you do, then its alrite, he won't hurt you, not one bit, (speaking quietly so only sneha could hear) - but apparently he has the HOTS for you. They giggled silently so that Mukti couldn't hear whereas she just rolled her eyes and continued at the gas cooker wondering to herself "Do I really like Prem?"

Okay people so here is the next update. No pre-cap today, sorry but i don't think i will be ab;e to continue tomrrow coz school is started and bound to gets lots of h/w. Give feedback please. it really does help me to know what you people think of this FF.

awww that was a sweet part! hope mukti will stay for prem! my school started today too :( sucks! but i will look forward to your next update!
