Everyone looked up excitedly……this was going to be interesting. They knew that Prem had been waiting anxiously for an opportunity to get back at Mukti for making him loose and over here an opportunity was presented to him on a golden platter. Even Mukti appeared to be apprehensive at first but she then resumed her usual "don't care" attitude.
Prem rubbed his hands in glee. This was exactly the chance he had been looking for.

Prem: acha miss basanti tou what do you choose truth or dare.
Waisay main janta hoon ke tum main zayada guts nahi hain tout um dare he choose karo ge

Mukti: what do you mean? Acha I choose dare.

This was exactly what Prem had been hoping for and he quickly said

Prem; soch lo yea nah okay tum baad main mana kar dou.

Mukti: whatever now will you please tell me what I have to do

Prem: You will have to kiss…………ME

Mukti: what…ewww..me kiss you!!! In your dreams.

Prem: I knew it! Mujhey pata tha kay tum main itnay guts nahi hai acha just admit u loose and I'll let you off the hook.

Mukti: what me loose to a monkey like you! I would rather kiss a monkey than you but……she bought her face close to him no one calls me a coward and she came closer to kiss him when suddenly the door knob turned. Everyone shot to their seatsa and managed to sit down looking all innocent. Mukti thanked her lucky stars that she didn't have to kiss Prem whereas everyone else was disappointed. They had so been looking forward to this and were silently cursing the

Teacher: since all of you have behaved so well I'll let you off early. You may go now.

Everyone cheered and went off in different directions. Mukti did not want to face Prem and was hoping to catch a ride with someone but she and Prm were detained by the teacher who gave them a big lecture on etiquettes and finally let them go with a "this is your final warning" they both went out and saw that everyone had already left. The both got into the car without another word and drove off.

Prem: waisay Mukti I know I'm hot and all so why didn't you tell me you wanted to kiss me.

Mukti: what?? Me wanting to kiss you?? Like I said earlier I'd rather kiss a monkey!! Anywayz dare tou tum nay di thi that means that you wanted to kiss me!! Admit it you like me don't you??

Prem: array miss basanti tum itna kyun hawa main udh rahi h main nay tou tumhein dare sirf iss liye di thee coz I thought that you wldn't carry it out magar agar who teacher sahi waqt per wapas nahi aa jati tout um mujhey kiss kar deti??

Mukti: kabhi nahi I would'nt kiss you if you were the last guy on earth. Unknowingly she had hurt Prem by this statement. Prem was deeply hurt and angered. He increased the speed of the car they were now traveling at the maximum speed. Mukti was terrified she saw a truck approaching the car and screamed PREM!!
Prem swerved to the right and stopped the car.

Prem; WHTF!! He glanced at Mukti and saw her shaking like a leaf. Oh Shit I forgot about your accident.

Pause
Mukti's mother had died in a car accident when she was 5 years old. She had been traveling in the car with her mother and they were in a hurry since they had a fligt to catch when all of a sudden a truck appeared out of nowhere and crashed into the car.Muktis mother died instantly but Mukti was saved and her legs were broken. The scars of the accident faded away but the scars on her heart were still there.

Prem unbuckled her seat belt and lifted her off her seat into his lap soothing her with comforting words. He kept on talking to her for an hour or so till she finally regained her composure and offered him a watery smile she had always had a phobia for speed ever since that accident and everytime she witnessed a car accident her wounds would be opened up again.. Neither of them had realized how close they were with her head resting on his chest as her offered her support. She drew back surprised at this intimacy he understood her reaction and said

Prem: acha bas…I mean Mukti tou hum chalein nahi tou mother India search party bhej daein ge apni ladli beeti ke liye

Mukti laughed and they drove off and reached home. There they saw Prerna pacing up and down looking at the watch.

Prerna: Mukti beta where were you? Main kitna pareeshan ho gaye thee. I tried calling you but koi fone nahi outha raha tha. College ko over huye 4 ghante ho gaye hain aur tum abhi aa rahi hoi

Prem gives Mukti a "I told you so' look

Mukti: array choti ma aap pareshaan kyun hoti hain mujhey kaam tha issliye amin late ho gaye aur main akeli kahan thee Prem bhi tou meray saath tha….main ab bari ho gaye hoon apna khayal rakh sajkti hoon….aap meri fikr nahi karein.

Prerna: acha beta tum dono ja ker fesh ho aao main khana lagati hoon….she leaves Prem andMukti alone
