Now what is the next step? Hope Meera doesnt take any drastic step towards Bani..

Part 18

Stepping out of the airport, they quickly headed towards the charter flights area, Jai wanted to speak to Ganga before she left. " Pushkar, everything is on schedule, Adam and I will be with you in 10 minutes , wait for us" Jai called Pushkar on the way.

At the airstrip Jai found a crying Bani holding Atharva and hugging Ganga. As soon as she saw him Ganga ran towards him. " Papa, please can Neeta Aunty come with us , she is so sad to see her baby go."

" Nahi Ganga not now, but if you promise to be a good girl and help Rano massi to take care of Krishna and Neeta aunty's baby I will bring her over as soon as our work is done here. Do you remember what I told you..you must not tell anyone where you are...and that Neeta Aunty's baby is with you. We don't want Meera Aunty finding out till its time to share the surprise. Ok?" Said Jai, trying to make sure that she didn't let the cat out of the bag, before he managed to get Meera to confess.

He walked Ganga into the plane and got her settled. All the while talking to her, assuring her that everything was fine and he would soon join her, and things will be like before.

Stepping out, he finally took Atharva from Bani's arms and handed him to Pushkar. " Take care and call us as soon as you land and in case anything goes wrong. Bani and I will keep calling in between."

" You too Mr. Walia, I will make sure that I keep everyone safe at Mt. Abu while you take care of things here. Nattu, no fooling around, you have to fill in for me too....can you do that?" he teased Nattu and quickly ran up the stairs and into the plane before Nattu could respond.

Laughing Jai turned and took Bani into his arms ...and together they watched the plane's door close.
The four of them then split...Bani and Jai were going to spend sometime together and then join Nattu and Adam at home. Bani was too upset right now and he wanted to her to relax for sometime, because in another couple of hours things were going to get dangerous.

Part 19

As soon as Jai started the car his phone started ringing..." Haan Meera bolo!" he tried to hide his impatience.

" Jai, Mohan called me while boarding the flight about an hour ago...when are you coming home?"

" Meera, mujhe abhie time lagega....tumko bataya tha na ise hotel chod kar aaonga...aur agar kaam khatam nahi hua to khana bhi ise ke saath!"

" Ise Kaun...Adam?"

" Haan aur kaun, tumhe bataya to tha."

" try to come home for dinner or can I join you? I am feeling lost without you and the kids."

" Meera main smajhta hoon, par tum bore hojaogi...aur waise bhi ghar par sab to hain...tum aaram karo hum baad main milte hain. Bye" and he switched off the phone.

" I just want to kill her...feeling lost without the kids! how can someone be so fake" he said letting out his anger by banging on the steering wheel.

" Relax, Mr. Walia...its just for sometime now...and maybe she is genuinely attached to the children." said Bani trying to calm him.

" I just don't get it Bani, even after all this you are trying to find good in her! You are just impossible, how many more times do you want her to try to kill you before you understand that she is evil...and we will not be forgiving her." he got more upset.

" I am not trying to find good in her...I just want you to relax and not get so worked up. We have waited so long...and I dont want anything to happen to you!" she replied quitely , trying to stop her tears from falling..." I can stay away from you as long as you are ok"

Jai sighed and pulled over, releasing their seat belts he pulled her into his arms," I am sorry...I shouldn't have snapped at you like that, I know what you are going through....but I just can't help it, I can't forget the image of us holding the lifeless bodies of Krishna and Atharva and then of you lying in that hospital...I want her to pay now...I want justice for my children." he finished, trying hard to check his tears.

They didn't know how long they sat there...when Bani's phone started ringing loudly in the car. " Yes, Adam?"replied Jai while Bani tried to compose herself.

" Jai you guys ok, why is your phone switched off...Meera called the hotel enquiring about us...and not finding us there she has just left Walia house. You should get here fast." said Adam

" Ok, we are almost there...see you in five"

" Kya hua? what was Adam saying" asked Bani.

" Meera is looking for me...we need to get home. Are you ok...can you do this now or should I buy sometime with Meera? he asked

" I am fine...let's get this over with...then we can go and get the children." she replied resolutely.

Jai started the car and they headed home for the final act.

Part 20

Jai and Bani had just entered the house when one of Adam's men warned them that Meera had turned into the lane leading to their house.

After the phone they just had a few minutes in which to set the scene. Adam and Nattu had set the table giving an impression of a very intimate dinner, while Jai and Bani quickly changed.

They barely made it to the table when Meera's car pulled up behind the house and she crept in through the back gate.

When she peered through the ground floor window...all her fears came true....she barely managed to check her temper and walked off in a rage.

" So much about having dinner with an associate. I will show you Jai Walia ... what it is to cheat on Meera. If I can kill your precious Bani and her children to be with you....there is nothing I will not do to keep you with me.....and if you can't be mine...then you don't deserve to live." she mumbled as she walked towards her car. In her rage she did not notice that someone was observing her closely. All she wanted to do was reach home and form a plan....she had to think carefully, confronting Jai would have to wait, she had to take care of this nurse first.

As soon as Meera drove away, Adam and Nattu came out of there hiding place. Jai and Bani dropped their robes which they had pulled over there clothes to give Meera some ideas about what they were upto before dinner.

" so ?" asked Jai

" You were right she has seen you and drawn the conclusion we wanted...now she has probably gone home to plan her next move." said Adam

just then Jai's phone started ringing...he turned the screen towards the others to show them that it was Meera. " Haan Meera bolo" he replied putting the phone on speaker mode.

" Jai when will you be home?"

" I should be there in an hour Meera, just finihsed our meeting." replied Jai

" Ok...have you eaten already?"

" Yes, I have"

" See you then." she replied and disconnected the line.

" Have to say, she is a cool customer. The way she was checking on you, no one can guess that she just saw you with another woman." commented a very serious Adam.

" that and more...I have a bad feeling, do you think we acted too soon" said Bani getting worried.

" No, it had to be now, we can't keep spreading ourselves too thin....we have to speed up our efforts and be more alert." replied Adam. " Jai, Nattu and I are going to stay with Bani, you need to reach home in time, make sure you don't give her too much time to plan anything."

" Yeah, I will head out now. Bani I want to talk to you first" said Jai as he took Bani's hand and moved towards her room.

" Bhai, don't forget to call Ganga, they would have reached by now" reminded Nattu.
