Alia Bhatt shares an unknown update about Raha: 'She has her own relationship with the paparazzi…'

Alia Bhatt recently shone at the Red Sea Film Festival and candidly discussed her experiences as Raha's mother. She shared a heartwarming update about her daughter, revealing that Raha has begun asking about her whereabouts and has developed a sweet relationship with the paparazzi.

At the Red Sea Film Festival on Wednesday, Alia was honored with a special retrospective celebrating her film career. The last time I was here, Raha was one and now she is three. Where are you, how far away, what are you bringing me when you come back, Alia said during the conversation stage, adding, Now, Raha has her own relationship with the paparazzi, and is old enough to ask me where I am going, and when I will be back.

During the conversation, Alia sang Raha's favorite lullaby, sharing that Raha now asks for "this or that song." My priorities are my daughter and my family so I have to focus on what really matters, Alia said while talking about the process through which she picks her projects.

Alia also discussed her upcoming spy film, Alpha, the first female-led movie in the YRF Spy universe, where she will star with Sharvari and Bobby Deol, directed by Shiv Rawail.

Alpha is the first female-led action film from the YRF universe, so that’s also a risk, because you’ve not historically seen that perform in the same way that the other male-led films have performed, Alia said while talking about the film. Alia received the Golden Globe Horizon Award at the film festival.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s relationship

Alia and Ranbir Kapoor, who began dating and later married in April 2022 after their relationship blossomed on the sets of Brahmastra, have become fan favorites. Their first child, Raha, was born in November of the same year. Ranbir and Alia made their first public appearance with Raha on Christmas 2023.

Next, Alia will star in Shiv Rawail's action thriller, Alpha, portraying a commanding officer in an elite all-women combat unit alongside Sharvari Wagh. The film, part of the YRF Spy Universe, is set to release on December 25. She will also appear with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period romantic drama, Love & War.
