" Actually Not Meera ! How can I forget the biggest mistake of my life. I am just ....."

' Just what Jai Walia...just what are you trying to say?....how has our marraige suddenly become a mistake...till a few days back you couldn't thank me enough for all that I do and have done for your family. "

" Aha ...but then I wasn't so in love and I didn't know that a life with you was like a never ending prison sentence!"

Meera was stunned for a moment...but she gathered her wits quickly and scanned around the room to see who all were part of this. She was taken aback for a moment to see Nattu there...."why am I not surprised..he was always Bani's lap dog and never did trust me... I will deal with him later." she thought.

Changing her expressions , she looked at them with tears in her eyes..." why are you doing this Jai....what have I done wrong...you know how much I love you and the children why are you throwing me out of your life like this...I will die without you...." she stopped and started sobbing now.

" Cut the act Meera, its not going to make a difference. I love Neeta and we are now married and nothing can change that." said Jai in a very cold voice.

" You know I accepted the fact that you will always love Bani, but I had hoped that my love would be enough to keep us going...but seems that even that was a lie. Its not even a year since Bani died and you have already replaced her with this cheap woman....think of how much Bani wanted us to be together , how can you do this to Bani..." she said in an attempt to make him feel guilty, using

her trump card...she knew Jai went weak everytime Bani's name came up.

" Keep Bani out of this ...you have no right to claim her support ....after all you did" he said, the last under his breath so that she didn't hear him. He was finding it increasingly difficult to keep up this act, when all he wanted to do was wring her neck with his hands. He suddenly felt a soft hand grip his.....Bani who was standing quietly till now, sensing his rising temper moved close to him and held his hand. She wanted him to calm down, if he lost his temper it would be difficult to stop him.

As soon as he felt Bani's hand in his he tightened his grip and all his anger was replaced with determination. The in control Jai Walia was back and he was going to handle this calmly like he did all his business adversaries. He would beat her at her game....he had been waiting too long for this and would not let his anger get the better of him risking his family once again.

Meera watched transfixed the change in Jai's expressions......she felt fear for the first time, it was like old times when one word from Bani used to have this effect on him...." this can't be happening again.... I made sure she died....this is just a passing fancy for Jai... I won't allow another Bani back in his life..." she thought , desperately looking at her options and trying to find a way to win him back.
