Part 8

"Don't you think we should head back home?" Bani asked, pushing herself up on her elbows and staring at her husband's closed eyes.

The only response back was, "huhhhh..."

Bani sat up and pushed her hair back and looked around for the clip which Jai had thrown somewhere on the ground. Finding it she clipped her hair back and stood up and adjusted her clothes. She sat back down and shook Jai, "Come on Jai. Nattu will be wondering were we have disappeared to."

Jai opened his eyes, gave her a dark look and shut it back again. "Let him think what he wants. As is Bani, I hardly get to spend much time with you alone."

The remark earned him a slap on his arm. "You know that's not true. Anyway the quicker we get rid of Meera, the faster I can move back home." Bani pushed her fingers through his thick hair. She liked running the feel of his hair, thick and smooth. "If you keep doing that Bani, I will fall fast asleep. You have no idea how good it feels." Jai drawled lazily.

Bani withdrew her hand causing Jai to open his eyes and stare at her. She was gazing straight ahead. He sat up and brushed the bits of dried grass clinging to his clothes. "Bani..."

Bani turned her face and smiled at him, "Yes."

"What were you just thinking now?" he asked softly.

"Nothing much. Just how perfect the day would be at this moment, if we had all our children with us."

Jai hugged her from behind. "It will be soon. We just have to wait now for Meera to make her first move."

He felt Bani shudder suddenly, "What is it Bani?"

There was little fear in her voice as she said, "Are you sure she won't harm Ganga and Krishna back at the house. I sometimes can't bear to think she has easy access to our children."

Jai rubbed his hand gently down her arm, "Don't worry, masi and the others have strict orders to keep close to the children and under no circumstances to be allowed to taken out of the house by anyone except me. Plus unknown to them there is extra security in place."

Bani turned and hugged him, "Thanks Jai."

Jai held for a few seconds and then pulled her up with him, "Ok lets go back and see what the junior has been upto with his chacha"

When they returned back walking arm in arm, a pair of eyes watched them from a parked car. Anger flared in Meera as she watched her husband and the so called nurse. She knew he had been lying to her. He was having an affair with some S*** he had picked up on his US trip. She had an idea what this foreign woman where like, and Jai Walia would be a prized catch. If she had got rid of Bani successfully than she wasn't going to let this other woman take her husband away from him. She wasn't going to be like Bani and trust him blindly.

Part 9

Meera started the car to go back and decide how she was going to deal with this. Flashes of the past few months kept coming back to her. She was such a fool to think that Jai was grieving for Bani and worried about Ganga...and he would eventually come back to her. All this while he was carrying on with that woman right under her nose. No wonder he spent 6 months in US...leaving me to baby sit his precious daughters.

"Jai Walia you have made the biggest mistake of your life and now your precious Nurse Sharma is going to pay for it...just like that fool Bani. And this time, you will know its me ....you have to give me my place in your life. The place I deserve, the place that I want." She kept repeating to herself.

Jai and Bani entered just in time to hear Nattu trying to calm a crying Atharva. As Bani rushed to get a bottle ready, Jai moved to relieve Nattu of his noisy charge.

" Badmash, so this was all an act to get attention" said Nattu seeing Atharva smile and wave his tiny hands towards Jai , " You just had to make me the villan, we were doing fine till you heard mummy and daddy walk in" he said handing a now smiling Atharva to Jai.

" Ofcourse, he takes after you!" said Jai trying to keep Atharva from chewing his tie " arey wait your mummy is coming with your milk...don't eat my tie, its a gift from your mother, the first she got me!"

Bani came in followed by Pushkar and Adam, who were looking a bit worried.
" Jai I think someone called Mohan is helping Meera, because since she left here she has been talking to him and making plans to have you and Bani followed" said Adam

" Mohan...Mohan Khandelwal...can't be, he is my childhood friend" said a shocked Jai.

" But isn't he her brother, maybe he wasn't a part of her plans earlier but now he is helping her...and why won't he, as anyone would see it you are cheating on your wife" continued Adam.

" She is not my wife, she is the biggest mistake I made!" he replied looking tortured.

Bani laid a comforting hand on his shoulder, " Mr. Walia we have discussed this before, its not your fault. No one knew she would turn out like this."

" How can you say that, if I wasn't such an arrogant fool, blinded by what others said none of this would have happened."

" Let it go, it was destined, we have so much to look forward to, once this is over we will start afresh" said Bani emotionally.

" Ok, lets cut this emotional drama and focus on the task at hand. I don't want to ruin my new shirt with you guys crying all over it" interrupted Puskar, deciding that they had done enough crying for a lifetime. " Aur waise bhi I have some news , which will make you guys, especially you Jai sir, very happy....but I can't tell you till Bani here promises to make some kheer for me"

" Out with it Pushkar...and forget about Kheer, I can't stay for dinner so Bani is not making any Kheer today. She has to be fresh in the morning because we have to take Ganga for a check up tomorrow, and will spend the day with her" replied Jai looking at Bani

" I just found out that nobody bothered to register your marriage to Meera and since you never officialy divorced Bani....we have Mrs. Walia right here...and you Jai sir have been very naughty living in sin with Ms.Khandelwal all this while" said Pushkar with smug look.

Jai didn't know whether to laugh or cry...he was just too shocked. sensing this Pushkar cheekily added " Now can I get some kheer...or alteast some halwa"

They were all laughing when Adam's assistant rushed in..." Target is getting active....quick you need to hear this, now"

No, we didn't start out by planning this story, I had a thought and started the story Kanta took it on...and thats how we have been going on. The only rule that both of us have followed is to stay on course with the original idea and the dos' on page one.

Part 10

Mohan: "Meera stop blabbering and listen. Get back home. You fool what were you thinking following him. You think he is stupid. How do you know he didn't see you?"

Meera screaming, "Bhaiya! Stop making me feel like I am dumb. Of course he didn't see me. I kept well back. And if I hadn't followed him, how would I have found out he is sc****** that b**** around."

Mohan: "Listen Meera I know you are upset and angry. Angry enough to do something stupid. I know Jai very well, remember I have known him since we were kids. I know how he works. He is smart. If he has a whiff that you had something to do with Bani's murder, believe me he will get to you. Get back home and let me think up a plan, something which will be clean and efficient. I don't want no lose ends lying around again. Meera the kids have to go...it is the kids that is keeping him linked with his past. I want JW shattered that he forgets he had a past, forget there was someone called Bani in his life, forget that he is even alive."

Meera hysterical, "No Bhaiya. You can't kill Jai. I want him, I can't live without him. Do anything to anyone else. Leave Jai alone."

Mohan is voice cold: "Meera pull yourself together. I didn't say I was going to kill JW. Go home and wait for my call."

Meera drove home erratically, not able to concentrate on the road or the traffic.

Jai, Nattu, Pushkar and Adam looked at each other. The pain at his hand being squeezed hard, brought Jai's attention to Bani. She looked pale and there were tears in her eyes. He motioned with his eyes for the guys to leave and pulled Bani in a hug.

"Hush Bani. Don't worry, its going to be alright. Mohan has no idea how ready I am to destroy him and his sister. Nothing is going to happen to the children I promise."

He just held her while she cried her tears out. Finally when she subsided, he lifted her chin. "I want you to go upstairs and rest. Don't worry about anything. I have to talk with guys and plan." Jai pressed a kiss on her forehead and pushed her towards the stairs.

Upstairs in the bedroom Bani picked up Atharva from his crib and lay down on bed holding him tight. Try as she hard as she could but tears rolled down, thinking of Ganga and Krishna alone in that house, alone where Meera could do anything to them.

Jai found Nattu, Pushkar and Adam going around the security of the house. The men looked up at Jai, his face was taut and grim.

Nattu ran his hand through his hair, "I knew Mohan was sc***** up b******, but didn't think he was this much pi**** off at you bhai."

Jai his eyes hard, "No I misjudged him too. I knew he didn't take my beating him in deals too well but I never played dirty with him like he did with me."

Adam: "Mr Walia I suggest you shift to Walia house or get the children out from there. This way we do not have to monitor two places. If I may suggest, get the children out to the house and bring them here."

Jai sighed, "I am thinking along those line too...tomorrow when I have to take Ganga for check up would be a good time to get them out of the house."

Pushkar, "Jai sir, why not tell them Pia is insisting on having Ganga and Krishna stay with us for few."

"I don't know Pushkar. They will just get suspicious."

"But Adam is right bhai, at the moment we have to keep two places guarded. If we eliminate one, we have extra resources available."

"Let me think Nattu. Anyway I think I will pay Mohan a visit, with Meera."

Nattu frustrated, "Bhai why go and socialize with your enemy.'

"Why not Nattu? It will make his ego jump when he thinks I am oblivious to his plan. May be I can get him to make a wrong move."

Jai looked at Nattu and Pushkar, "You two stay with Bani. I will take Adam with me when I go."

Upstairs Jai found Bani sleeping on the bed. He didn't want to wake her up but he did not also want to leave, he knew she would get upset if he left without talking with her.

part 11

Mohan knew he had to think of something fast, the state Meera was in she could do anything. He has to take care of her, can't let any harm come to her.

He didn't know whether he was happy with what had happened to Jai and Bani, yes he hated them for hurting his pride, all the losses in his business and most of all insulting him by turning down his marraige proposal and then getting married himself. But he had resigned himself to the fact that Jai was probably destined to be better than him ...he couldn't do anything else because he had his hands full taking care of his hyper sisters.

He knew that despite all their rivalry Jai was a good man and his sister would be safe. Though He was angry at Jai, had always resented him, he decided to use Jai's goodness to his advantage to help his sister.

He still remembered the day she had called up excitedly thanking him for introducing her to Jai, he was a good boss and was taking care of her.

Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined that Meera would fall in love so quickly and that it would turn into such an obsession.

But when he found out that she had kidnapped Jai's children and had them killed ...all he could think of was protecting her. That was his duty. And then Jai himself threw Bani out of his life and to prove to everyone that he was over Bani he married Meera. Meera had got her dream , and as a brother he was happy to let bygones be for the sake of her happiness.

With Bani back in their lives and this time with a child , Mohan for the first time saw his plans of taking control of Jai's business through Meera fail. And then Jai had the cheek to break his little sister's heart by getting back with Bani. No , he couldn't allow that, but Meera stopped him, she wanted to deal with it in her own way.

Enough of this cat and mouse game Jai Walia, I am going to finish you. I may have forgiven you for beating me in business but you will be punished for hurting my Meera.

Jai and Adam had worked out a plan and were going ahead with it. Jai had promised Bani that she will have all her children with her tomorrow and that was their top priority.

Jai called Meera ," Where are you? I am bringing a guest for Dinner , can you make sure everything is taken care of. He is an important client from the US and I don't want anything to go wrong."

oh..Jai n Adam already on their plan..So Meera taking care of dinner arrangements...Will she suspect anything now as she already knows that he is having an affair with the nurse from US and the client also from US???

wow fabulous.....great job guys 👏 .....I'm loving this track....very different and I'm happy that JW knows that Meera is the culprit...
