It was about 10 days that Jeeya was with them in the house, on a Sunday afternoon, Jai sat with Aditya in the study which overlooked the lawn of the house, the voices of children drew their attention, Jai went upto the window to look out Jeeya was playing football with his nephews, both of them were older than Jeeya, 10 & 12 years respectively…soon Jai got immersed in the game, Jeeya was giving the boys a tough time, dribbling and dodging, quite fast too, come on girl, come on, yes that is like my girl, Jai murmured seeing Jeeya in action, Aditya came and stood next to him to watch the same. Yes, the girl is good and for her age she was playing quite well….
Jai, Bani ne contact kiya….
Nehi Aditya, that is what is bothering me, 10 din ho gaya but no contact, hey hey Ranvir, that is a foul, you pushed Jeeya, Jai shouted at his nephew...

Jai looked at Aditya, he never thought about it in that manner, when his father died after fighting for his life for nearly three months, Jai had come back to India amidst of a bid to take over his company by a rival group. It was Aditya who got inside information and had informed Jai, that time they fought tooth and nail to save the company together, it was after that Aditya & he became close and when finally everything had settled down, Jai had enquired about Bani but she was no longer there, he had never discussed Bani with Aditya, never had the chance nor the reason…

Jai I was wondered why you did not get married, you never had any shortage of girlfriends….
Ek minute Aditya, I am 34 years old, not past marriageable age, o.k. unlike you I did not get married at 25 years…so what…many people get married late, anyway Aditya, tell me where was the time….

Yes Aditya you are right, for the last 7 years mere pass woh do minute bhi kaha tha, it is just about a year since we are reaping the benefits of our business plan, abh things are getting smooth…

Suddenly there was a commotion, Jigyasa was shouting at her sons, Aditya shook his head and got up to bring things under control before they went out of hand…

After Aditya left, Jai remembered that when Jeeya had come into the house, everybody was trying to get friendly with her, Jigyasa had asked her what her name was, she had replied it was 'Jeeya'.
Jeeya what, Jigyasa wanted to know…
Jeeya Dixit, she had replied…

He was not a teenager when he met Bani around 26/27 years old, old enough to get married but as Aditya said he was having a nice time, enjoying life, travelling around the world and learning business tricks from his father, his father wanted him to be more serious but he was taking it easy, when he went to Mt Abu, he got attracted to Bani, her innocent unconventional looks, she was not the type of girl he went around with but definitely a girl with whom he would like to think about serious relationship. He had seen her giving respect to elders, trying to please them and taking up responsibility with a smiling face, during their nightly rendezvous, he discovered that she was very innocent in some respect, specially for a girl in this age and time, discussions on sex embarrassed her and she became red, she had asked how things worked in a city like Mumbai, he was embarrassed, not because he was shy to speak about it but her innocence was very fetching, he did not want to spoil that, Bani got inquisitive, aap ka muh kiyo bandh ho gaya abhi, are you shy, I can't believe you are shy now…
No I am not shy exactly, Jai had hesitated in his reply…

The house suddenly seemed to be very quiet, Jai sat with his head in his hands why did Bani keep quiet all these years, did her husband find out and hence abandoned her, was her pregnancy detected earlier or in Shimla, she wants her daughter back no doubt as she could have made use of his name, filed a paternity suit, why has Bani not taken that path? Does that mean Aditya is wrong? What is Jeeya exact age? Jai ran his fingers through his hair…should he clarify these from Bani when she calls? What is preventing her from calling? Has she realized that he might come to know?
