Jai: Aare Bani… why are you taking so long …Pushkar is waiting…
Bani: yeah I was just coming… afterwards both Jai and Bani went downstairs to meet Pushkar……
Chapter 25:
Pushkar: hey Bani how are you? Saying so he got up and hugged Bani…
Bani: mein thik hoon Pushkar how are you…
Pushkar: I'm fine and Mr. Walia I hope you are keeping my sister happy… I don't want to see my sister unhappy… aur waise bhi mein ek police inspector hoon… so u better be careful he added with a cheeky grin…
Jai: yes inspector… (Thinking to himself it looks like both brother and sister only knows how to threaten others… only Rano is the one who takes my side …even Masi is on Bani's side)
Pushkar: so can we have a party …well we demand to have one …don't be so kanjoos… Bani cut in saying …
Bani: no Pushkar …not now Jai is not well… and we will have party only after he gets well …
Masi: aare Bahu… its just a party …its not that Jai will do a lot of work or anything there will be people coming in and it will be a good opportunity for Jai to socialize with others and may have a good impact on Jai…
Bani: but Masi…
Masi: no but…we will have a small party if not a big one… so its settle and we all will arrange for the party…
On the other hand Bani was really tensed about Daksh and on top of that all the family members want to party… the situation never favors her…all thanks to Pushkar…
Pushkar stayed for lunch and ….after lunch everyone were chatting how to go about organizing the party Anu, Jai, Masi, Jigyasa, Aditya everyone were just having a good time chatting away… Pushkar noticed how Bani's attention was on something else so he excused himself and took Bani to the Garden as he wanted to talk to her to find out what was bothering her…
Pushkar: kya baat hai Bani… you seem to be lost somewhere… is everything ok with Mr. Walia…
Bani: Daksh is in Mumbai Pushkar… he called me this morning and I don't know how to tell him the truth… I knew it I have to tell him about my marriage with Jai one day but now I don't know how I will manage everything…
Pushkar: Bani… I know it is difficult but you have to tell him the truth… you belong to someone else and Daksh have to understand that… do one thing you tell me his whereabouts and I will personally talk to him …you don't have to worry about it… I'll take care of everything… I don't want this issue to have any effect on your married life…
Bani: Pushkar…. That's so sweet of you… but it is I who betrayed Daksh and kept the truth hidden from him… so I have to make him understand and tomorrow is the party so after tomorrow I will personally go and meet Daksh and make him understand…
Pushkar: Bani are you sure … and you know it I'm always there if you need anything … I'm just a phone call away…
Bani: thank you Pushkar… thank you so much…
After dinner everyone went to the living room and started to invite their guests through phone… Anu invited all her friends etc… but Bani was lost in her own thought… this time Jai notices it and he doesn't say nothing thinking he will talk to her when they are alone…… afterwards everyone went to their room by wishing each other good night…
In JB's room…
Bani came out of the bathroom all changed into her night dress…and Jai was sitting on the bed waiting for her so that he could have his talk with her…
Bani sat on her side of the bed and started fiddling with the cover while getting on the bed…
Jai: Bani… kya baat hai… I have noticed since quite some time now you are unusually quiet …what's wrong… (He asked her with a concerned voice)
Bani: it's nothing Jai… I'm fine…
Jai: Bani if you don't want to have the party then I will cancel it… I don't want you to be upset…
Bani: I am not upset with the party Jai… its just I'm missing my home … (She lied… felt really guilt about it… but at the same time she was really touched seeing Jai's concern and love for her)
Jai: …Bani this is your home …and as it is everyone is coming tomorrow and if you like you can go and meet them anytime you want …
Bani: I know but you will not understand you are not a girl … otherwise you would've understood how it feels to live away from your parents… but it's the rule and every girl has to live with their sasural …
Jai: thank God I'm not a girl otherwise… I wouldn't have get to have such a beautiful and loving wife like you… (He started joking to make Bani's mood better)
Bani smiled on this comment of his … Jai not a very good joke…
Jai: at least you smiled… saying so he pulled her toward him now she was sleeping keeping her head over his chest…
Jai: Bani…
Bani: hmm…
Jai: Bani… are you feeling sleepy?
Bani: no… you want to say something…
Jai: hmm… how many kids do you want…
Bani: Jai what sort of question is that? …have you forgotten what we decided …?
Jai: Aare yaar…can't we discuss on our family planning… he said being a bit sad…
Bani: I'm sorry Jai …ok you tell me how many kids you want… anyway why how many… I think only one child is enough…
Jai: Bani tum kitni kanjoos ho… only one!!?!! Probably 8-10 is fine by me…
Bani: (Bani is really shocked) Jai are u serious… 8-10!!!!!!!!!!
Jai: Why Bani… is it too less ok I don't mind we can always increase the number 10 -15 may be… and a little while ago I was thinking you were being kanjoos in fact you are asking me to increase the number of kids… so sweet of you Janu…
Bani: shut up Jai… and who is this Janu… getting all irritated …
Jai was having so much fun teasing Bani …and she's taking him so seriously… well enough of teasing …
Jai: sorry baby we will have 2 kids …ok… 1 boy and one girl how's that… and I was calling you Janu sweetheart… and I was just kidding about having 15-20 kids…
Bani: Jai you have again increased the number again from 2 to 20!!!!!!!
After their little discussion both started laughing and fell asleep holding on to each other…………
