Chapter 26:

Following morning everyone was getting busy decorating the house for their small party and Jai was not allowed to do anything… especially Bani gave him strict instruction not to move a muscle otherwise he will have to deal with her… and Jai didn't have the guts to argue with Bani so he just obeyed her order…

In the afternoon everyone was getting ready for the party… Bani wore a white colored sleeveless churidar and a beautiful diamond set … after all she's Mrs. Walia so she had to look beautiful… Jai was also looking handsome wearing a nice black colored suite … after getting ready both Jai and Bani went downstairs to welcome their guests..........

Masi: Aare wah mere bahu tu kitni pyari lag rein hai… Kisi ki nazar Na lag jayen… and she kissed Bani's forehead………

Jai: aakhir biwi kiski hai… after all she's my wife …isi liey tu itni khoobsurat hai… said Jai putting his arm around Bani……… saying all proudly…

Just then one of Jai's best friends Tarun walked in around the main hall towards the whole group where everyone was standing circling Jai and Bani.

Tarun: hello everybody …namaste Masi kaisie hain aap…..saying he took Masi's blessing…

Masi: God bless you my child… kitni dino baad aayen ho tum… ab jake Masi ki yaad aai haan………

Tarun: sorry Masi par aap jante tu hain na yeh business ki wajai se time hi nahi milti…

Jai: hi Tarun and both hugged each other…

Tarun: Aare yaar apni dulhan se tu milao … kahan hai meri bhabi……

Jai: (Indicating to Bani) yeh hai Mrs. Bani Walia … my dulhan and your bhabi… and Bani this is Tarun my best friend……

Bani: Namaste Tarunji…

Tarun: plz Bani Bahabi call me Tarun… just then Masi cut in saying aare Jai beta tum aur Tarun batein karo… and I'll take Bani with me as I want her to meet some of our relatives… saying so Masi took Bani with her…… leaving Tarun and Jai alone…

Tarun: yaar Jai Bhabi is really beautiful … you are a very lucky guy…

Jai: Tarun I know u r a really big flirt but don't even try flirting with my dulhan… Jai added with a small smile…

Tarun: aare yaar mein to mazak kar raha tha… oh haan I want you to meet one of my friend he's from London well by profession he's a doctor… and he came to India for a small visit… and I brought him to this party… I hope that's fine with you Jai… you know this is a family party so…

Jai: aare yaar tu bhi kamal karta hai… why did you kept him standing outside go and get him… you are so stupid yaar…

So Tarun went outside and brought in Dr. Khanna…

Tarun: Jai… this is Dr. Khanna …he is a neurosurgeon… a brilliant doctor… you know when I had encountered with a terrible accident in London he is the one who did my treatment and from there we have known each other…

Jai: It's nice to meet you Dr. Khanna… I'm Tarun's best friend Jai Walia…

Dr. Khanna: It's nice to meet you too Mr. Walia… in fact I have heard your name somewhere but can't remember exactly where…

Tarun: Dr. Khanna its nothing new… he is a very well known business tycoon so you bound to know about him… The famous business tycoon Jai Walia… and all three laughed together…

Dr. Khanna: oh by the way Mr. Walia congratulations and wish you a very happy married life full of lots of happiness…

Jai: Thank you and I'll just call my wife you should also meet her… saying so he called Anu to bring Bani to him…

Just then Pushkar came in and joined the gang and all four were chatting way while drinking… Bani saw him drinking and came to them and asked Jai to stop drinking…

Dr. Khanna's back was faced toward Bani so Bani never saw his face… and she started speaking to Jai…

Bani: Jai… didn't I tell you not to drink and you are not listening to me…

Jai: Sweetheart please just one drink… oh by the way I wanted to introduce you to someone… saying so he proceeded towards Bani and put his arm around her … just at that time Dr. Khanna turned around and his smile vanished from his face as he saw Jai Walia's wife…

Jai: Bani this is Dr. Khanna and Dr. Khanna this is my wife Mrs. Bani Walia…

Bani looked at Dr. Khanna with a horrified face and said…

Bani: Daksh! Daksh Khanna!!! (Muttered Bani slowly…)

Jai: Bani what did you say? Do you know him? He added smilingly……

Bani: she stammered as how to answer Jai's question that instant Pushkar cut in as from Bani's facial expression he could make out this Dr. Khanna and Bani's Daksh are same person as he heard Bani taking Daksh's name……

Pushkar: aare yaar what are you guys doing… this introduction can happen later on…… now come on………its your wedding party and now we want our newly wedded couple to dance ……… saying so he pushed Bani and Jai on the dance floor………… (Bani was thinking the truth about her identity will come out today but thanks to Pushkar she was saved … but for how long … she has to face Daksh sooner or later and Jai will ultimately will come to know the truth as truth prevails no matter how hard you try to cover it……)

Jai held out his hand towards Bani … Bani gave a side glance towards Daksh and held Jai's hand and walked toward the dance floor as the song being played at the background…

Dil koo tumse pyar hua … pehli baar huaa… tumse pyar hua… mein bhi aashiq yaar huaa… tumse pyar hua… chyeinn hain betabi… kaho mein kya karoonn … kya karoonn…. Dil ko tumse pyar hua pehli baar hua… tumse pyar hua… aashiq mein bhi yaar hua …tumse pyar hua…

Meanwhile as Jai and Bani started dancing Daksh kept looking at them from distance he's yet to digest the fact that Bani is no longer Bani Dixit but Mrs. Bani Walia …… Daksh thinking this must be some sort of horrible dream or has the fate has played a cruel joke with his life… his Bani is in someone else's arm dancing away and someone's hand is securely held around her waist… there is so much close proximity between his Bani and this stranger who he just met couple of minutes ago whereas he knew Bani for more than years…… how can he believe that all this is true…… it can't be true…… Bani cannot and will not never ever deceive him… but she has betrayed him said Daksh to himself… but he was finding it difficult to swallow this cruel truth… his thought vanished as he saw Jai going more closer to Bani and hugging her even tightly then before while dancing… Daksh couldn't take the sight he was seeing in front of his eyes so he closed his eyes as tears were rolling down his cheek in disgust…betrayal… and most of all in the sorrow of losing someone who was very dear to his life… heart and soul… his eyes were tightly closed but tears were flowing from his eyes… as a different song was being played in the background……………

Tadap tadap ke is dil se ahh nikal thi rahi mujhko saja di pyar ki aisa kya gunah kiya jo loot gaye… haan loot gayen… tu loot gayen hum teri mohabbat mein……………. Sisak sisak ke iss dil se ahh nikal thi rahi jo loot gayen haan loot gayen jo loot gayen hum teri mohabbat mein………………….
