Chapter 23:

Following morning Bani woke up and saw Jai who still sleeping with a sweet smile on his face…so she just let him sleep coz he needs to rest as he's not keeping very well …after getting ready Bani went downstairs and did pooja with Masi and took her blessings…

Masi: bahu… Munna ueth geya kya…

Bani: nahin Masi woh abhi tak sou rein hai… and I didn't wanted to wake him up coz he needs rest…

Masi: thik hai beta …uese kuch dair baad uetha dena… (…and then both went to kitchen and Bani started to prepare special healthy breakfast for Jai…)

Masi: bahu go and wake up Munna its quiet late now… if he sleeps like this then he's gonna get lazy… he's already spoilt and you are spoiling him even more…

Bani: leking Masi… if he sleeps for longer one day it won't make him lazy… Just then Anu came in and joins in the conversation…

Anu: wow mamaji… this is just the second day of ur marriage and this much concern for mamaji…oooooh…… how sweet and romantic…

Both Masi and Anu started laughing as they were teasing Bani… and Bani became the victim of their teasing… Bani didn't know what to do they were taking everything in a wrong way so she didn't argue with them and went up to her room to wake up Jai…

Bani went and sat beside Jai… and she called out: Jai wake up… everyone's waiting for u at the breakfast table… wake up Jai…

Jai: Please sweetheart sone do na…

Bani: no Jai …you have to get up if I go downstairs without you then they'll make fun of me again… Jai are you listening to me… do you want me to pour a cold bucket of water on you…

Jai: kya yaar …subhe subhe dhamki… not fair saying so he sat up straight scratching his head… Bani went to the cupboard and were taking out Jai's clothing when Bani's mobile started ringing which was placed near the pillow…

Bani: Jai pick up the phone … so Jai picked it up…

Jai: Hello… strange…

Bani: who is it Jai…

Jai: Bani the line got disconnected… I don't know who it was…

Bani: never mind that Jai …just get up…and get ready everyone's waiting downstairs… hurry up patidev… she said it in a frustrating tone……

Afterwards both went downstairs … and in their bedroom Bani's mobile started ringing again…

Daksh: Aare yeh Bani phone kyun nahin uetha rein hain… lekin woh admi kaun tha… who picked up the phone before it got disconnected… wondering that Daksh dialed the number couple of time… but Bani never picked it up… so he decided to call her up later on…

At the breakfast table …

Jai: Bani… what are all these? Yeh cereal aur fruit and juices … I want my coffee and some paraths… not all these…

Bani: Jai just shut up and eat quietly… Jai knew it there was no use arguing with her… what if she gets angry… he can't take the risk of making her angry again… so he just eat everything that was served by Bani… as everyone suppressed their laughter …and saw Jai obeying her like a little kid… afterwards Bani told Jai to go to their bedroom so she could give him his medicines…

In Jai Bani's room…
Bani: Jai sit down and I'll just get the medicines…so Jai sat on the bed and Bani's phone rang again… so Jai picked it up…

Jai: hello… hi Rano how r u Saliji…

Rano: hey Jiju …hi …I'm good… how's my Di did she torture you much last night…did my plan work…

Jai: aare Saliji stop asking so many question and it did work last night all thanks to you…

Bani: what worked last night? What are you guys talking about…and who are you talking to…

Jai: Aare Bani …here talk to Rano…giving the phone to Bani…

Bani: hey Rano…how r u? is everything ok… (Why did you call so early in the morning… she asked with a concerned tone)

Rano: Aare wah Di… shadi hote hi humein bhool gayein? …and is there any problem if I call you early in the morning? …did I disturb you and Jiju…what were you two up to…

Bani: shut up Rano… its nothing like that… your call made me a bit worried…

Rano: sorry Di …I just wanted to know if Jiju was ok…

Bani: what? ... What happened to your Jiju…

Rano: oops… Di I've got to go now…bye…bye…

Bani: Jai… what are you two up to…

Jai: … (Thinking yeh Rano ke pet mein kuch nahin hajam hoti) Aare Bani …forget about Rano…and give me my medicines sweetheart…

Bani: Aare haan mein to bhool gayein… saying so she gave Jai his medicines… and told him to rest…

Jai: Aare Bani yeh kya baat huyein …I just got up and you want me to sleep again? ...by the way Bani you are such a wicked witch… you want both of us to get into the bed… Bani have you forgotten what the doctor said…

Bani: all shocked… Jai have you lost it completely… and how dare you call me a wicked witch… she started punching him…

Jai: Aare yaar apne bimar pati ko marte huyein tumein sharm nahi aati…

Bani: jab pati besharmo ki tarah baat kartein hain tu …ueseh marke hi raste mein lana parta hain…

Jai: kya you are calling me besharm!?! You are the one who was talking about sleeping… not me… and he started laughing…

Bani: shut up Jai… just then Masi came in…

Masi: Aare Bahu…kya baat hain?

Jai: Masi aapki bahu mujhe mars rein thi…

Masi: Bahu… is this true…

Jai: Masi I'm telling you nah it's true… (Bani was feeling really embarrassed…and wanted to kill Jai for saying all those thing to Masi)

Masi: in that case very good Bahu… at least there is someone who can handle you… now Bani was smiling and Jai was kind of quiet as Masi was taking Bani's side…

Jai: Masi you are taking her side?

Masi: yeah… and you keep quiet… Bani bahu I want to give you something…

Bani: what is it Masi… so Masi handed Bani the keys of the house …and Bani was hesitant to take the keys and she looked at Jai… but Jai smiled at her and gestured her to take the keys from Masi…

Masi: Aare Bahu… why are you looking at Jai… here take it and manage your home …apna pati aur apna sansar ko sambhal ne ka zimmedari ab teri hai…Bani took Masi's blessing and then Masi left the room…

Jigyasa was listening to everything from outside and was not at all happy about it as Masi took the keys from her and given it to Bani… she just stormed off to her room without saying anything… as this was bound to happen…
