Chapter 5

After massi leaves

Jai: God this massi can be stubborn at times.

Bani: Forget massi I'm out of here. I was sure nothing good is going to come out of this. And tries to remove the bangle and hand it over to Jai.

Jai: Seeing Bani's reaction he realizes that Bani would now hide for the first cover. Bani please now you can't turn back. At this last minute.

Bani: Watch me.

Jai: I thought you were a woman of your words.

Bani that I had not agreed to be your wife but to be your pretend fianc pretend being the operative word or have you forgotten that Mr. Walia that I had not agreed to be your wife.

Jai: I know that you don't have to throw it on my face. Jai was now loosing his temper he knew if Bani didn't go ahead with his plan tomorrow he would be the laughing stock and he would do anything to get her to be his fianc.
Bani I said I'm willing to compensate in any way I can.

Bani: You don't understand Mr. Walia. By the end of this fiasco I would not be able to show my face anywhere.

Jai: Please Bani help me out and I will make sure everything will turn out to be fine.

Bani: Tell me how will you going to get the wedding arrangements canceled. Do you realize that every girl dreams of becoming a bride and have someone to share her life love and cherish for a lifetime

Jai: Bani, Please give me some time to think of something. And please I am in no mood for all those romantic notions. I have seen life more than you and I can say you have to come out of that mould if you have to survive here

Bani: Time is something which we don't have. It is always better to stick to the truth one lie leads to another one. And may be I'm a romantic at heart but that is the way I like to be I cannot change for you Mr. Walia.

Jai: Who asked you to change for me now? I like you the way just as you are.

Bani: We are moving away from the point

Just then Adi comes in
Adi: What is this? Any one entering this place can hear you two screaming at one another from a mile

Jai: Adi stay out of this. I never understand why I take up your advice as I always land up in more trouble.

Adi: Now what did I do.

Jai: Well you were the one who suggested for Bani along with Tarun Just half a day and she is backing out now and half the world has already started knowing that she is going to be my fianc.

Adi: How did all that happen in one afternoon? Moreover Jai we only suggested her name and we had asked you to keep a low profile but being you, you must have gone ahead and announced it to half the world.
Jai: Just on whose side are you?

Bani: Incase you both failed to notice you are talking about me. Do I get a say in this.

Jai: No Bani now you listen I have had a very rough day today. tomorrow you are going to meet up with the designer for the dress and the next day we will get engaged.

Bani: No that will not happen. Adi uncle are you aware massi now wants us to get married in three weeks time.

Adi: Well I heard something like that that's why I have come. Jai and I will think of something. And please calm down and think

Bani: Uncle you don't understand today morning It was like any other day by afternoon I have fianc a family then a new house then I come to know that I have to get married in three weeks and you expect me to calm down.

Adi: Bani think of this as an adventure.

Bani: At least I thought you would help me out uncle.
Adi: I just want you to listen to what Jai has to say and then we will work out something.
Bani: Thanks uncle but first thing I'm out of here let me see if Pushkar can come and take me back to my flat. Thank God I had not started unpacking and moves to the bedroom.

Jai: Thanks for your help first she was only contemplating to move out but now she had decided on it.

Adi : Well I have got news for you I am through with saving you form this mess you are on your own let me see how you will handle this.

Jai: I don't require your help If Jai Walia wants something he gets it and you know it Adi. So now its checkmate time.

Somehow Adi didn't like the way things are going as he felt Bani didn't stand a chance when Jai was in this mode so he wanted to warn Bani. I thought you were leaving just then Bani enters and informs Pushkar would be here in one hour's time.

Jai goes closer to Bani and looks into her yes Bani you are not going any where. you can say to Pushkar that you have changed your mind and just that you wanted to see him.
Adi was not liking the way this conversation was heading he tried to act as a buffer between the two. But both of them asked him to stay away.
Adi: Fine but don't come back to me both of you. And leaves in anger. Any ways Bani I will support in any decision you take.
Bani: At least I have Adi uncles support and once massi know the truth I think she will back me.
Jai: Oh No Bani. No one threatens Jai Walia and gets away with it.

Bani: Here who is threatening whom? I'm being held as a scape goat here and Mr. Walia how come you are threatened.

Jai: Cut the act of innocence and you know better than to provoke me.

Bani: Please don't get into that mode of I know it all Mr. Walia because this mess was created by you

Jai goes very close to her and holds her by the waist now Bani did not like the reaction on his face as he had the look that he has won this game. He had very expressive eyes and it gleamed when he knew he had his prey. Often she had seen this look in the board room
Jai: there will not be any mess to clear and now the decision is made we will get married on the date decided by massi or Bani you loose everything your job, flat, reputation so think before you act. So its check mate Bani and leaves her. And don't think running away will solve your problem as finally you will have to come back to me.
She was so shocked to respond for a while
Jai: What cat got hold of your tongue? No smart answers.
Bani: Now she is angry and sad almost in tears and helpless. What are you saying Mr.Walia this is pure blackmail I was willing to help you and now you are back stabbing me. What happened to the notion that you never turn back on the people who have helped you.

Jai: Who says you don't gain anything you will be Mrs. Jai Walia and as per my will you will own 50% stake in all our ventures. So Bani welcome to the world of Jai Walia. Well you can have the tyrant boss for a husband for the rest of your life

Bani: Over my dead body all this will happen.

Jai: Think before you say something Bani. Today in fact you have acted out of your normal demure character that is what made my job easier. So what is it going to be?
Bani doesn't respond she is thinking about Jai's comment as she now understood that he knew exactly what buttons to push and she had fallen for it. If his charm didn't get the job done get on to the other person's weakness.
Jai: Still thinking let me help you then You have a sister to support moreover you are dependent on your job for living and I don't think getting married to one of the most sought out bachelor would be that bad. So it's not like you are been taken to the gallows and your options are next to nil. So marry me and make me happy or you want to do it the hard way where you have no escape and finally coming to me the choice is yours.
Bani: Make you happy what about my happiness.
Jai: Don't give me the look like you are sacrificing your life for nothing. There are many people who would have loved to be in your position.
Bani: Then why me may be you should choose them.
Jai: No Bani I want you as my wife and nothing will stop me. So tomorrow at nine I will personally take you to the designer.

Bani: Almost in the verge of tears over her helplessness. So now you are going to guard me. What makes you so sure that I will not embarrass you in front of everyone?

Jai: Holds her by the waist very close that bani could feel every breath on her skin. Don't test my patience Bani.

Bani: So now I'm a novelty for you so you want to keep it. As you said I think lot of them would be willing for that she spat out.

Jai: Looses his hold on her but still standing close to her What is the problem really Bani. Are you worried about the other women in my life then let me ease your conscience from now on only one woman will share my bed and that is going to be you. I would be 100% faithful to you and I expect the same.

Bani: Have you ever considered the fact that you might find someone better suitable to be your wife or for that matter I can find someone for myself.

Jai: I haven't met anyone all these years and the chance to find someone is now lesser possibility as for you I can prove that once you become mine the possibility of any one else is next to nil or shall I prove it to you.
Jai Just holds her very close and first kisses very lightly on the mouth When bani opened her mouth to protest he deepened the kiss further Bani was trying to push him away from her but the more she struggles the more tighter his hold came on her and Slowly the kiss transformed from a claiming kiss to a tender one and slowly bani gave up the struggle and when Jai noticed that she was falling in his arms he loosened his grip on her and moved her against the wall and started exploring her and kissing her on the neck and down wards slowly Bani's arms moved around Jai's neck which gave him a better access and he continued kissing her and Bani was melting in his arms at that very moment Jai knew he had won and he was going to enjoy being married to her. Slowly Jai was trying to move her to the couch in the corner when suddenly they were interrupted by a knock on the door and pushkar was standing there and the scene he had witnessed had made him like a statue and mouth go dry.

I just read part 4 & 5 and loved them both. 😃

Poor Bani, she landed from th frying pan into the fire. First saying yes to Jai to help him out and then being blackmailed in to a marriage by force to Jai. 😆

So Jai and Bani have an explosive chemistry, whats new here, they do have one heck of a chemistry on screen too. 😳

Cant wait to see, what happens next, and poor Pushkar, seems like he is not over one shcok for the day and endsd up getting another one. 😆 😆 😆
