The Walia's
Jai Walia: He is 37 years. An industrialist enjoys living life on the edge, fast cars, collects antiques, enjoys finer things in life, never married but doesn't lack female companions. As a rule he never dated the same woman for more than three months. Currently dating Pia and plans to get married to her as he feels it is time to settle in life. He feels both can gain a lot with this association that is why he had proposed to her. Though he did everything for his sister's family he drew a line when it came to his personal affairs. Hence no one was attached to him may be except Aditya his sisters husband friend and business associate. In the business worlds he had high regard as he was referred to as a person with the Midas touch as what ever he ventured into was profitable.
Jigyasa: Married to Aditya. The children are also same as in the serial. Ranveer: Helps his father in the business and oversees some of Jai's projects.
Sahil: In college but his father and Jai want him to join the family business hence he often gets fired by both of them especially Jai because of his careless attitude. Sahil always tries to avoid Jai
Anu: The darling little girl of the family. First year in college loves to party. Only scared of Jai but still tries to butter him up. Jai mostly turns a blind eye towards her faults which has made her a spoiled brat.
Aditya: same as in the serial.

The Dixits
Bani Dixit: 20 years simple girl. Her main goal is to help Rano finish her studies and put together the catering business once owned by her parents. Presently working for Jai Walia as his executive assistant. They had a good professional relationship
Rano: 18 years goes to College with scholarship wants to help her sister out as she felt guilty that her sister had to work hard to provide for her. She was doing her studies in Delhi and staying in the hostel. They often mailed and spoke to one another but they hardly saw one another may be just between her semester break when she came down to Bombay.
Other Characters
Pia: 30 years in my story she is different. She is an actress and famous model. For her career she would do anything that is all what mattered to her. Currently she is dating Jai Walia. She was a bit hesitant to go on with the engagement as she fears her acting career would suffer.
Tarun: Personal lawyer of Jai Walia works as the legal advisor for Jai walia's company.
Pushkar: Works for Jai Walia and are best friends with Bani. He has feelings for Bani but has never expressed them as he felt Bani was not ready for that kind of a relationship.
Nachiketh: Half brother of Jai Walia. Similar in character but some how didn't approve of many of his elder brothers doings. He felt that Jai was very shrewd person who thought about his gains especially in the business were as he liked to be straight forward. Hence they had their differences but never interfered in one another's lives.
Chapter 1
Jai is really in a foul mood as Pia has just left a note saying that she is doubtful about going ahead with their relationship and now she currently has a foreign trip which would keep her occupied for almost a year. He has been giving orders and getting angry with every one in the office. Bani had not ventured into his cabin seeing the response of the people coming out of the cabin. She called for Aditya.
Bani: Adi uncle something has happened with Mr. Walia. He is behaving very strangely and getting annoyed for the silliest things.
Adi: What's new about that? You give him his cup of coffee by then let me try to find what is wrong. He was excited about his upcoming engagement with Pia what happened over night God only knows.
Bani: Me to go into the lions den.
Adi: Please Bani. You go first as you are the only person in this world with whom he never barks.
Bani: What? That's news to me as only yesterday he was upset with the project I submitted he wanted a 101 changes in that.
Adi: Yes that's what I'm telling you he only gets upset and corrects your mistakes but he never barks at you or orders like he does with everyone.
Bani: Ok fine I know were this is getting to. I will go see the lion himself but is I get eaten up please save me.
Bani enters Jai's cabin with his coffee
Jai: Now what is it? Everyone seems to me coming into my office. Can't have a moment of peace here.
Bani: Good morning Mr. Walia. Your coffee
Jai notices its Bani and he softens a bit and says place it on the table and asks her to cancel all the appointments and to send Adi in. Bani steps out and calls Adi again
Bani: Adi uncle your are summoned into the lions den.
Adi: how is he now?
Bani Seems to be getting better. So don't make him wait.
Adi: You are a sweaty my child.
Bani: You owe me for this.
Adi comes to Jai's office.
Adi: What do I owe the pleasure of being summoned here and I hear that you have been giving everyone a hard day for Bani also.
Jai: Stop it I'm in no mood for your jokes now. I have a serious problem Pia has broken our engagement.
Adi: What? Jai Walia getting turned down by a female. That's new
Jai: Stop the nonsense Adi and for once get serious in your life Are you aware of the gravity of the matter.
Adi: You are too serious for your good. That's the problem.
Jai: I want to get out of this mess. Massi was finally happy that I found someone at last. The preparation for the engagement is in full swing and I have got just two days to present a fianc. The press, the party the guests invitations have gone to most of the places so any ideas.
Adi: Simple say that you broke up.
Jai: What and have the press hounding for another month and let Pia get a great publicity stunt out of this. More over massi just had an attack two months back you want to send her back there.
Aid: God Jai I don't understand what you saw in that woman to take such a leap. So now you want me to clear this up any suggestions.
Jai: I have to find someone to present as my fianc and people shouldn't find anything a miss in that.
Aid: Great what do you think I'm a magician that I just take out the wand and a girl appears. At least you had the brains to keep the girl as a surprise to everyone so that if one doesn't turn at least someone could fill the gap.
Jai: you are not understanding I better call tarun up here may be he can suggest something.
Tarun comes in after an hour
Jai: What took you so long?
Tarun: well you wanted a solution and I have it.
Adi: Where did you find a girl so quickly, hope not any of those sleazy females you date?
Tarun: What you think I'm mad like Jai. Give me some more credit than that.
Adi: Then who
Tarun: I don't know if the other person will agree but it's worth a trial.
Adi: Do we know her then may be we can make an offer that she can't refuse.
Tarun: Actually I don't think that will be a good idea with her. May be presenting her the truth would be the best way to get her help.
Adi: Now who is that person?
Tarun: Someone just outside the office.
Adi: looks out of the cabin and it stuck to him: Hey tarun you are a genius why didn't I think of it. She would be perfect and no one would doubt a thing. But will she agree is the million dollar question.
Jai was now truly getting mad at both of them. While Tarun was happy with his choice and Adi congratulating him on finding the girl.
Jai: Will you both cut the crap out and tell me who this wonder woman is.
Adi: You are really dumb at times. Who other than your Bani.
Jai: What? Jai has a shocked expression and keeps looking at both his friends.
