Urm, what about Bani's from a really small town or Village?!.....her father used to be someone with a lot of authority, and they lived a simple life..........it would explain her commanding nature and why she's not so up to date with technology!.....her father died, some mean relatives took over the house and small business that they had, and Bani had to flee with her sister to protect themselves.......next thing thy know, they're in Mumbai!!

Just a little idea that popped in to my sleepy head!!😆
