Hi guys,
Over the past few days, I have been really busy and have not been getting a lot of time to update. However, I have summed up the story and instead of thinking up new twists and turns, I am adding an end to this story. I am so thankful to all my readers who have constantly send me pms or left all these sweet messages! Without all of you, I do not think I would have written so much! I loved writing every bit of it! Thank you so much! Hope you like this final part!

Bani: Sure, I want to see you house again. Can we do it there?
Jai: Sure.
Bani was surprised that there was no hesitation in Jai's agreement… What was going on? Bani wanted to find out and she would.
Bani: What time should we meet?
Jai: Umm… Sometime in the day time would be good?
Bani: Why not at night? Hiding someone in your house? (Bani tried to ask that as jokingly as possible)
Jai: No, because Maasi probably wants you back home… so how can we do it at night time?
Bani: Right… Well I guess tomorrow at 2 is a good time?
Jai: Bani, why are you talking to be as if this is a formal talk again? I mean you are my wife! Talking to me like a normal wife?
Bani: What do you want me to say? Sunyji?
Jai: Do you remember when you first said that to me? And I out of instinct replied "kahiyeji"
Bani: How could I forget? That was the first time I even felt like we were husband and wife.
Jai: Bani, close your eyes…
Bani laid back comfortably onto the pillow and closed her eyes.
Jai: Now imagine your favorite place in the world.
Bani thought of Switzerland, a place she had always wanted to go, even as a child.
Jai: Now imagine your favorite person there with you…
Bani tried to visualize a person but it was to o use. Everytime she closed her eyes and thought of the most important person in her life she always got two images… Riya and Jai… the two most important people in her life!
Jai: Okay, Bani you can think of two people, you don't need to decide…
Bani: How did you know I have two images?
Jai: Well, it wasn't hard guess…
Bani: Fine… now what?
Jai: I am going to make that image come true for you within the next two months… I don't care how I do it, that picture will be proven true!
Bani fluttered with excitement! She hadn't felt this way since the last time Jai and her were together.
Bani: Jai, when exactly did Pia die?
Jai sat upright with shock.
Jai: Why are you mentioning her all of a sudden?
Bani: No I was just wondering.
Jai: Bani, we are talking such romantic things and you are wondering about that.
Bani fakely laughed: Sorry… k continue…
Bani wondered why Jai had avoided giving her a direct answer. Well the truth would come out in meantime. There wasn't much that she could do as of now, except wait, because as they say, the truth always comes out…
After a long talk on the phone, Bani finally decided to sleep. She was lying down on the couch outside of Tarun's room, writing in her diary when she gradually fell asleep.
The next day, Mom came through the door and saw Bani sleeping on the couch. She went over to Bani and saw a book in her hand. She wondered why Bani is sleeping on the couch instead of her room! She picked up the book and a few pictures fell out of it. She saw the first picture of Bani with her parents when she was young. The next few pictures were of Riya. She was about to look at the next picture, when Tarun came through the door.
Tarun: Mom, is breakfast ready?
Mom: Beta, it is ready. But first explain something to me… why is Bani sleeping outside? And not in the room?
Just then Bani heard voices and woke up to find Jai's picture in Mom's hand. It was from her diary. It did not seem like she had read any of it or seen his picture.
Bani stood up quietly and came behind Tarun's mom and took the diary and pictures from her hand.
Bani: Mom, how come you are awake so early in the morning?
Mom: Early? It is 9.
Bani: What? It's nine already??
Mom: Why were you sleeping out here?
Bani: Oh, last night I went inside to sleep. But then for an hour I couldn't sleep so I took out my diary to write in there. But I didn't want to turn on the light to disturb Tarun so I came out here and started writing. And I have no idea when I fell asleep. Sorry Tarun.
Tarun: It's okay. I have to go to my meeting.
Mom: Eat the breakfast!
Tarun: I will just grab something on my way out.
Bani went to her room and got ready and finished some chores just in time to go meet Jai.
Bani: Mom, I am going to go meet a old friend of mine who is here in Mumbai. Is that okay?
Mom: of course Beta, I am sure you are probably bored sitting at home all day!
Bani grabbed her stuff and went to Jai's house. She knocked on the door and Tony opened it.
Tony: Madam! You are back!
Bani: Tony, how are you? Have you been taking care of this house well?
Tony: I have been taking care of it just until you come back and take all your responsibilities back.
Bani: Isn't there anyone else around to help you out?
Tony: Well, we have other servants, and other then that Maasi is the only one who lives here with us. A couple of months ago, Mr. Walia's cousin came to town with his wife. And she needed a surgery and so they just stayed here. They are still here. Everyone else moved to different places as soon as you left.
Bani: Maasi! How is she?
Tony: She misses you a lot. She hasn't spoken to Jai since the day you left. She barely talks to anyone but rather just sits in her room and knits clothes for your kid.
Bani: Where is she?
Tony: In the room, either praying or knitting.
Bani: Okay, I will go there.
Before she goes, she just wanted to clear her doubts.
Bani: Tony… where is Pia?
Tony: Madam, don't you know… Pia madam died in a car accident after you left.
Bani: Oh. Tony, I called a couple days ago, and someone female picked up the phone and said that she was Mrs. Pia Walia.
Tony: Oh! Well, it's a long story madam. Why don't you ask Mr. Walia?
Bani: Well… ummm… he isn't around…
Tony: He is right behind you.
Bani turned around, surprised that Jai was standing there with a smile on her face.
Jai: Bani, come here, give me a hug.
Bani: Jai, now that you have heard everything. I want you to tell me the truth, no lies.
Jai: Bani, all you had to do was ask.
Bani: What was I supposed to ask? Now tell me, and stop trying to ignore it!
Jai: Bani, did Tony tell you about my cousin?
Bani: Yes. So?
Jai: Well his name is Siddhart Walia. And his wife's name is Piya. So, in turn she is Piya Walia.
Bani: Oh.
Jai: Yes, 'oh'. Now, come here. Give me a hug.
Bani shyly went into Jai's open arms. She shouldn't have bothered thinking all those possibilities. But what about that letter?
Bani: Jai, someone sent me a letter before that said Pia is alive.
Jai: Yah, Tarun just told me about that. I looked at that note, it was Jigyasa's handwriting. She is trying to create problems between us again. I am not going to let anyone do that anymore! You are mine, and I am yours and nothing will come our way now. Bani, I love you. I know you are not ready to say it, but I am willing to wait.
With that Jai walked off but was stopped as Bani took his arms and stopped him.
Bani: Jai, I love you too.
Jai: Really?
Bani: Yes really.
Tarun's Mom: BANI!
Bani turned around and faced Mom.
Bani: Mom, what are you doing here?
Mom: Did you just say you love Jai?
Bani: I… I…
Mom: Tell me the truth.
Bani: Mom, I have been wanting to tell you.
Mom: Yes or No?
Bani: Yes.
Mom: Finally!
Bani: What?
Mom: Oh Bani beta. Did you really think I am so blind? I have been noticing a lot of things are off in your marriage with Tarun. I asked him this morning if anything was wrong and of course he said no. And then later that morning, I saw you on the couch with your diary and the pictures. And you thought I hadn't seen Jai's picture. But I had. And then, after you left, I was cleaning up the room and I picked up the things to put them away when some pictures well out. They were pictures of you and Jai. When Tarun came home for lunch, I asked him to explain. Bani beta, I love you and I wanted you to be happy. I thought you would be able to be happy with Tarun and that is why I insisted you get married.
Bani: Oh, Mom! I didn't know how to tell you.
Mom: It's okay. I want you to be happy and if that can happen with Jai, then I am happy for you.
Bani: Oh Mom, I love you!
After hugging Bani, Mom took her hand and put it in Jai's.
Mom: Keep her happy as she is yours and has always been yours!
Jai: I will.
Tarun comes in and gives both Bani and Jai a hug.
Tarun: Mom, I have to tell you something.
Mom: Did you find someone too?
Tarun: Well, actually… kind of. There is this girl.
Mom: Well then… what are we waiting for?
With that Tarun and his mom went outside to meet Tarun's dream girl. And Jai and Bani stared into each others eyes, finally happy and together.
Bani: Oh No!
Jai: What?
Bani: Oh, Rhea's school is out. I have to go pick her up.
Jai: We have to go pick her up. Ready to tell our daughter the truth?
Bani: Yes, I am ready. Let's go.
With that Jai and Bani were off, to start a new life together, with their precious child.
