Muje office ke lie der ho rahi hein.' bani said walking towards the sink and rinsing her cup.
mythali and Jai ecxhanged glances.
'You are not kidding right?' Mythali asked pouring tea for Jai and handing it to him.
'Nope, bahoth kaam hein and i dont want the work to suffer because of me.' she said looking at both of them.
'Aur mera kaya? she read the question from Jai's eyes.
'Mein...... Mythali..... she looked ather friend for support.
'is se jane do Mr. Walia. to day i am off from work I'll take you around and show you Abudhabi.'Mythali announced.
'Okay' he agreed.
"I'll join you for lunch then' Bani said heaving a sigh of relief. she then added. 'muje bahooth zaroori kam hein office mein please both of you understand'. And she walked to her room and shut the door. her eyes filled for no reason. She got dressed and walked to the living room. Jai was standing at the window lost in thoughts. as he felt her presence he turned to face her.
she stood infront of him and stammered. 'muje ... jana hein.. mein apana kaam adoora nahin chod saktha. that's an obsession with me.
'teek hein thum jao lekin is barein mein hum log aaj hi bath karenge.' he said not taking his eyes of her.
'thank you ..' she smiled hesitantly and touched his hand. Jai's gaze fell on his hand and she immediately pulled away. Before she could step back he pulled her into his arms and crushed her. Bani was knocked out of her breath.
"Mythali .. aajayegi... ab bas.. she murmered close to his chest.
'aane do..' he said smiling.
.nahin wo kya sochegi..
'Kya sochna hein '. he asked releasing her.
'yeh..... bas.. jane do.' she blushed. 'e..enjoy your outing with her Mr.walia.... she is a good company.'
"JAi..' he said.
'Jhee'
'ji nahin jai..'
'mmm'
'is ke barein mein bhi hum bath karenge.. lekin abh thumhein der hojayegi thum jao.. he said smiling at her. he walked her to the lift.
Bani went to her office. first thing she did was she composed a resignation letter. she mailed the letter to her athorities and then went to her chair mans cabin.
'yes Ms.Dixit. oops Mrs.Walia.' he grinned.
Bani smiled at him wondering how he knew.
"Your husband is a good friend of mine.
Before she could ask him about it she got the answers. BAni explained to him about her situation and her resignation. he had agreed to axcept the resignation.
"But My dear you will have to work here for another 30 days. rules' he said.
'Yes sir i do understand.
On her way back to her cabin she wondered how she was going to make her husband understand. he had stated clearly he had come here to take her home. bUt rules are rules and Bani wouldn't break them . No matter how hard it took her to convince him.
Jai and mythali had great time. Like bani had said mythali was a good company. Jai thanke mythali for taking care of Bani when she was in most vulnerable state. Mythali had called her husband Rohith malhotra and introduced the two of them over the phone. Jai liked the couple very much.
Mythali's phone buzzed and she picked it up.
'Yes bani.'
"Kahan ho thum log?'
'Marina mall. come to the food court we'll have lunch here.'
okay.'
Bani joined them in the food court. Jai ordered food for them they found a vacant table and setteled themselves.
'How was your outing?' Bani asked
'Good. thum nahin thein na acha tha. we did little shopping.'
Bani made a face. "kya liya?' she was anxious.
'Mein nahin batha sakthi.' mythali grinned.
'Kyon?'
'Kyon ki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi.' Mythali teased.
JAi chucckled. 'Your friend is a hell of miser.' jai teased Mythali.
Bani smiled effectionately at her friend. Jai got up to get their food.
Bani looked eagerly at her friend.
"thumhari aise dekhne ka mathlab kya hein?'
'Koyi mathlab nahin..'
'Nahin muje pata hein ki htum kya poochna chahthi ho?'
'kya?
'ki thumhara woh muje kaisi lagi?' Mythali grinned.
'Nahin'. she protested.
'jhooti..'
Bani blushed.
'mmm.
'thum bhi na Mythali...
Han mein bhi ..' she giggled like a school girl.
'Acha suno.. thumhara wo thum se bahoth pyar karthein hein. when ever i mention your name his eyes lights up.
'Jhooti.... bani smiled shyly.
'Such.... bas wo sab chod office mein kya hua?'
'30 din aur kaam karne padenge'.
'Muje maloom tha... thum usse kaise manaoge?'
Kise manana hein bhai' Jai asked balacning their food trays in his hands.
"Aap ko.' Mythali grinned.
they had their lunch talking nine to the dozen. Bani left them after lunch. looking sorry to leave such pleasant company.
Bani finshed her work By five in the evening. and walked out of the office in a hurry. she stopped at the reception surprised. Jai was waiting for her in the reception.
'Aap yahan?'
'mmm. chalein...?
they walked to the car park and Jai escorted her to a car. she looked questioningly at him.
"Hm meine rent pe liya.'
they drove to her apartment in silence. once he reached her parking lot he said.
'thum apne kuch zaroori saman sath mein lana mein yahan wait kartha hoon.
'Lekin... abhi?
'yes now. You are staying with me. go get them fast. he opened the door for her leaning towards her seat and brushing his hand on her thighs. BAni looked at him.
'Bani.... I am waiting.'
Bani got out of the car and marched to her building in daze. what was happening to her. her dreams were coming true. She was actually going to spend time with him. she pakced few of her things and got back to the car park.
'Hogaya?'
'mmm..'
he drove the car to his hotel. carried her bag and walked briskly to his room.
Bani stood in the middle of the room and stared at her in the mirror.
'Kya dekh rahi ho?' he asked walking behind her and wrapping his arms around her waste. and looking at her in the mirror.
kuch nahin. muje vishwas nahin ho raha..' she said. concious of his hand around her.
'Kya vishwas nahin ?' he asked nibbling her ears.
'Ke aap yahan ho aur mein aap ke sath hoon.' she said turning towards him.
'Apni aankhon pe vishwas karo.' he said closing her eyelids with his hand. and bringing her to face him.
Jai looked at the woman infront of him. her face flushed she looked all red/ he smiled and kissed her.

Jai decided to take her out for dinner and he wanted to speak to her about their return to india. Bani was sorting out her dress to wear for the dinner he asked.'BAni thum kya doond rahi ho?'
'Mera churidar... Bas khameez hein uska churidar nahin mil raha.
'lo.... thum yeh pehno.... he got her a shopping bag.
'Yeh kya..... she asked failing to conceal her excitement.
'thum khol ke dekho..'
BAni opened the box and took out a beautiful pink saree out of it.
Jai looked satisfied at her excitement.
'pasand aya?''
'mmmm thnak you Mr.walia... she said smiling at him.
"Jai..'
'Ji....
"Jai.'
'mm... mein jake pahnoo?'
'hm..
she walked to the bath room and came out wearing the saree.
Jai looked at her. for him she was the most beautiful woman he had ever set his eyes up on.
Bani stood infront of him with full of questions. she waited eagerly for his compliment.
Jai looked at her for long moment and chuckled. 'Ha baba thum bhoth achi lag rahi ho...'
BAni blushed beetroot red.
'Aise looks muje math dena thum, teek hein.. hume ab bas bahar jana hein baki sab bad mein. he teased her.
bani turned her face in embarressment. he chuckled pulled her to him and kissed her on her forehead.
''thum, thaiyar ho jao mein bas ek shavar kar ke arahan hoon.
he left her and went to the bath room.
he was back after five minutes bare chested. bani suddenly felt awkward at the sight. her eyes wandered not wanting to look at him. suddenly her eys caught a scar on his right shoulder. she stared at it for a moment and asked.' 'Yeh aap ke shoulder pe kya hein...'
'Kuch nahin.. he put the shirt on immeaditely.
'Kuch tho hein... kya hua tha ...
'meine kahan na kuch nahin...' thum chalo.
'Batao.. muje wo kya hein...' she was insistent.
'thum bahoth ziddi hogayi ho.. he accused.
'Muje batao please.. she was worried.
'Woh muje goli lag gayi thi...... he said after much of deleberation.

thank you guys for your support. i needed to end the chapter and i simply wrote that jai telling her he got shot 😆 😆 😆 kikiki kikiki 😉 Now i have to come up with good explanation 😉 let me think and come back soon i hope coz i have lots of work to do and then me and my husband has to fight for the pc 😉 if i win! i'll surely update 😆

'I was shot.' he said turning from the mirror and facing her. Bani looked horrified. the color had drained out of her face.
'See.. that's the reason I didn't want to tell you....'
'Mien teek hoon.. aap ko kaise... 'she moistened her lips. She was lieing between her teeth. She was almost shaking when she thought about the fight she had with the man who had tried to kill him. she had fought with man to save her husbands life and here he was telling her he was shot? her eyes filled with the thought of losing her baby. "bani..' Jai called her softly buttoning his shirt.
'Dekho muje .... muje kuch nahin hua.. goli bas mere kandhe ko chookar nikal gayi.....'
'Bas....' she put her arms on her ears. Her tears flowing dowwn her cheeks.
"Arre yaar thum itna sensitive math bano...' he said holding her to him.
'Kab hua tha?'
6, 7 months back.
'Aur muje kuch pata bhi nahin chala?' she was hurt.
'Kyon ki paper mein nahi tha yeh ithna big issue nahin hein Bani. Bani never read paper. she had feared to find him in any of it. she didn't want to be reminded of him or her sister. ANd by chance she had come accross seeing him in any of them her mood used to go wrong. she didnt want to do anything with her past till she met him again and cleared her misunderstanding.
Jai had lied to her. he didn't want to burden her guilt. the indian papers had flashed the news about him being hurt.
Jai could sense her tears flowing down her cheeks.
'Kya aap ko patha chala ki yeh kisne kiya?' her voice cracked.
'mmm one of my business associate. he was pissed off becoz we won a contract over him.'
'Kya issi aadmi ne pehle aap par attack kiya... jisne hamare .. bache ko.... she couldnt go on.
Jai's eyes moistened. and he said in a soft voice. ' kya thum rona lekar beit gayi Bani. thum tho mera shirt karab kardoge....
BAni pulled back and looked at him with tear stained face.
he wiped her tears and ushered her to the bathroom to freshen up.

Jai took her to Dhow (boat) for dinner. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. she loved it.
Jai looked at his wife and smiled. "So tell me, did you like it?
'What? she asked.
"here.? Kya thum yahan pehle ayi thi?'
'Hm.. mythali aur uske pati ke sath.'
His face fell.
"Lekin woh alag tha Mr.Walia. Aur yeh alag. she said smiling at him.
'Mein thumse kitni bar kaha ki muje mera naam se pukaro?'
"Ji'
"Jai.'
'mm. Acha aap bataye muje ki ghar mein sab kaise hein?' Bani was surprised at her question its been more than a year since she had asked about any of them.
he looked taken back. 'Teek hein sab. Rano mujse bahoth kush hein. she runs from the room I walk in.'
Bani looked at him guiltily.
"koyi Bth nahin Ab thum aagayi ho Sab teek hojayenge? he said taking her hand in his.
'Jigyasa.....' she was curious.
Jai threw her a look.
'Ranveer.... she prompted.
'Un dodno ko mein ghar se nikaal diya.' his answer was abrupt.
Bani choked on the juice she was drinking.
'thum teek ho?' came the concerend query.
'hm. she cleared her throat. "Rashi...'
Rashi left him wo apne maike chali gayi.' he said studying her expression. 'Kya thumhein mallom tha ki aisa hoga?'
'han.'
"Phir yeh sab thum kissise kyon nahi kahin? he wanted to know. But then continued. 'Great Bani wanted to take care of every problems of the house hold. She thought she could take everything on her shoulder with out anyone's help ...' he continued not taking his eyes of her. She cringed on her seat. She should have shared with him the problems she should have. lekin kaise? she didn't know what his feeling were for her.
'Kya soch rahi ho?''
'wo mein...
'mmm jab thum kisise agar kahthi ho tho unse kasam bhi lethi ho…he lifted his eye brows.
She thought about maasi.
''thum yeh sab mujse kyon chupai BAni?' he looked intensely at her. Why she didn't tell him? Why she had to keep everything to herself? Why did she not trust him? He had repeatedly had asked himself these questions plenty of times and came up with the same answer. Did he ever give her the chance to trust him? Did he ever try any conversation with her? When he wanted her as his wife she had gone far away from him.
'who mein… aap ke gussese………'she muttered.
'excuse me?' he couldn't believe what he was hearing? 'Come again?'
You have a very short temper Mr.Walia. she said boldly.
He looked at her for long moment not taking his eyes of her.
'Ji aap ka gussese dari thi mein. Muje…. Aur mein aap ko hurt nahin karna chahthi thi.
'Aur in turn thum ne kya kiya? Thum ne muje bahoth dukh diya. He said shaking his head. From now on Bani you will not keep anything from me? Is that correct?
'mm.' Bani blinked away the tear that threatened to fall.
'God! yeh meine kya kiya? Meine ise dinner keliye laya tha na ki shikayath karanee keliye. He kicked himself.
'thum teek kahrahi ho Bani… muje bath karna nahin aatha..he said smiling at her.
"Meine aisa kab kahan?
"Abhi.. thumhari aankhein kahthi hein….
In spite of her tension she smiled at him. They had dinner talking about his new business and Jai kept the topic about his family at bay. He didn't want to spoil their mood. He was dreaming about his moments with her for a long time and here he was talking all the wrong things to her.
On their return to their hotel room Bani was quite. He noticed her change of mood. BAni was thinking about the things he had said during dinner. What was she thinking when she decided to take all the problems on her shoulder with out help? Pushkar ko sab patha tha lekin……… 'Thum kya soch lekar beit gayi?' came the question.
'Kuch nahin Bas yoohin…'
Once in their room Jai excused himself with his phone. He was almost an hour on the phone discussing business with Aditya. BAni took her cell phone and dialed Mythali. Bani told her about the dinner and the saree he had gifted.
When Jai walked into the room he found her talking and Laughing about something on the phone .he looked at her with a smile and thought he seldom saw her smiling. He approached her pulled the cell from her hand and spoke on the phone. 'Mythali
Thum Kabab mein haddi kyon ban rahe ho yaar?' and he disconnected the call. Bani looked at him in surprise. Her mouth fell open at the sight. He was looking at her with a grin. 'Aap ne yeh kya kiya? Mythali….
He sat next to her taking her in his arms and murmured Mythali ko jo sochna hein who sochegi thum ab.. bas… mere bare mein socho
