Back to present….

Jai had finished his call and was watching Bani on the terrace…looking out to the busy outskirts of Mumbai city….what an ordeal was to make her understand and say yes…thanks to Pia and Rano ….eventually they had made Bani say yes….he was seeing her after 2 weeks today…..after that horrible hospital day….but it felt good….he didn't realized it till he saw her amongst the crowd today….damn she looked so beautiful and so different from everyone…he was craving for her….only today he realized that he didn't sleep good at all ever since the day he saw her and his soul wont rest in peace until he had her…all to himself…

Bani looked out into Mumbai as the night was setting in….kitni jaldi kitna kuch badal geya…Rano aur Pia kal ajayege….and there life would be so much better from now on….she closed her arms around herself and looked up at the sky

Bani: I don't know meh yeh kya kar rahi hu…speaking to nobody….magar mere is ek faisle se agar meri bheno ki zindigi savar ti hai…toh yahi sahi….she felt a chill remembering Jai and that horrible scene at the hospital….no matter what sort of a low life he was….she knew he had a heart somewhere…and no matter what she was thankful for him thinking of her sisters…..she knew he was crushed in guilt for what he did and that is why he was making up…but she couldn't understand why would he go upto marriage..he could have just left it with them coming to Mumbai….but he hadn't….that was something Bani couldn't get…….

Jai knocked on the sliding door ….she looked …he indicated…come in..its getting chilly…

Jai: thumara karma ready hai….aur thumare liye sabhi saman rhakwadi gai hai….masi ne thumari shadi ke sari tayari kardi hai…saath meh Rano aur PIa ki bhi…..u don't have to worry about anything

Bani: meh….woh…..

Jai: looked up…what…..

Bani: holding herself…who meh…aaj kitni thand hai…changing the subject

Jai: giving her a sleazy smile….yeh it is…u are always welcome to join me in bed if it gets too cold u know….i certainly wont mind…and it would work rather than waiting for on more night

That just did it…Bani was once again disgusted….: u know some things just never change…meh janti hu meh duniye ki sabsi hi stupid ladki hu joh tuma hari jaise janwaar ke saath shadi kar rahi hi…

At the mention of the word jaanwaar…..Jai looked up…heat and anger in his eyes….

Jai: and u know what this Jaanwar is capable of…if I were u would keep that sexy mouth of urs in check…orelse I wont be responsible for the consequences that follow…..

Bani biting her lips…very well knowing what his capable of…left the study for her room…

Bani showered and got herself all nice and warm in bed…she called Rano and Pia and talked to them to see they were ready to leave tonight….they were to come early mrng….for the mehendi night tomrw….following the wedding on Saturday night….

A slight knock on the door….

Bani: pulling the blanket up..yes…kaun hai

Masi walked in with a glass of milk…..kaise ho beta…..

Bani: aap …

Masi: meh munna smiling yani ki Jai ki massi….

Masi and Bani had an emotional moment where Masi kissed her and hugged her welcomed her into the house and told Bani that she is her daughter now and if she needs anything just to let her know……

Masi handling the milk to Bani left…..yeh badam ke doodh hai….pilo lo acha se aaram ajaye gi….

Bani: Ji masi…Masi left….Bani drinking the milk and thinking aloud….itni achi maasi ka itna jalad sa beta….she whispered …

Jai leaning on the side of the door: kya kare…mere maa toh masi jaisi thi paar dad mere jaise tha…they say I have blue blood in my viens than the normal red….smiling lazly he said…looking at her….

Looking drop dead gorgeous…hair all messy…a towel over his neck in track pants…must have been working out…and damn those ebs….u couldn't tell he was 35…(stop drooling girls…)

Bani almost dropping the milk and coughing like crazy…a bit unsettled looked at Jai at the door

Bani; what are you doing here????

Jai: aareh mera ghar hai…meri honewali biwi ho…jab chahu kisi bhi waqt aaa sakta hu…any problem??

Bani irritated at his comment…..

Jai looked at her pyjamas and creased his brows….whats that

BAni; kya??

Jai: that indicating with his eyes….

Bani: getting very self conscious …kya???...straitening up to make sure her buttons were all done

Jai: is that what u wear to sleep….

Bani: kiu whats wrong with it..and whats ur problem…??

Jai making a mental note…with a body like that honey u don't need to wear that bundle of material….u need some lingerie….hmmm a thought just ran up his head….maybe that could be a nice wedding gift…..

Jai: kuch nai….making Bani very uncormfortable

Bani: please go away Mr Walia

Jai: u know u will have to stop calling me that darling…especially not when people are around…

Bani: abhi koi nahi hai….

Jai; I see that too…moving closer now….Bani sank deeper and deeper into her blankets and the huge queen size bed….

Jai: relax….one more night…don't have to get all worked up today sweety….Jai bent down …close to her ear….."good night"…"sweet dreams"…" I know I will"…

He got up and left…

Bani shaking …got up to take and glass of water her hands shaking….why was she so scared of this man….yeah she was shy…and very reserved but she was scared of nobody and always spoke her mind….she still has time….maybe she should run away…and she will have no problems……but than Rano and Pia came to mind….oh God meh kya karugi…..

Bani laying down…her thoughts of the last day in hosipital before Jai left for Mumbai….

Bani: she couldn't believe it…tum pagal toh nahi hogaye..meh aur tumse shadi…no way..u hve to be joking…..have u lost it…

Jai: Bani please listen to me…..i know it sounds absurd but that's the one way I can get u out of ur situation and the past week too much has happened to go back

Bani: pacing her room….she was being discharged today….shaking her head…oh no
U have the nerve to come in my life…coz such a havoc….embarass me….cause me shame in my whole community and work..and now u have the nerve to say that u can make it all right for me……do u think im some bimbo whose going to falll for ur words

Jai was furious…: God dammit woman try and understand it will be good for you and Pia and Rano….

Bani's eyes shot up….what?...tum Pia aur Rano se kya kaha….

Jai: not only them but the whole area knows that u are getting married to me and ur sisters are coming with us to Mumbai…and they legally become under ur custody as u will be married and have a secured future…..your chacha and chachi are handing everything back to you without a fight …all paper work is done …all it needs is ur signature….once the shadi is done…all will come into effect…but we have a month only to do it before Rano turns 18 orelse u don't have a choice….

Bani dropped on the seat nearby…: how dare you….how dare you…this is my problem…my life…my sisters…my life…I don't need u….samjhe tum…she got up….i don't need u…u have made things more complicated than it already is….why couldn't u just leave me alone….why do u have to come and mess my life upside down….
Bani went up to Jai was was talking and talking ….wouldnt stop…..

Jai: Bani??

Bani: how could u…shadi

Jai: Bani??

Bani: meh aur shadi tumse….nahi …kabhi nahi

Jai: Bani??

Bani: ab meh saab ko kaise chera apna dhikaou gi…u have left me no choice

Jai: Baaaaaaaaani???? Stop it

Bani: kept going on and on

Jai: got hold of her shoulders and bani???...BANI???

She wont listen…..Jai gave her a good slap……Bani her face turned shut up…..her hand on her face….

Bani: tumne mujhe mara…mujhe….she was furious….in a beat of a second..she got her other hand and gave one to Jai

Jai: what the ?????

He grabbed Bani and pinned her up the wall

Jai: now u listen to me …i. am not disgracing ur family or u…infact Im trying to undo what I did wrong…I am f*** pissed already with this situation and believe me if I had a choice u would be the last woman on earth I would marry…..but I got u in this mess I will get u out…..if u are not so selfish as everyone says than u will breathe and think about ur two sisters who will after this get a good life and what all is out there for them…im not buying u…I will marry you…give you my name….the status t o stand beside me ….be my Wife Goddamit….do u understand…..with that bam he slapped his lips onto her and kissed her bruising her lips and letting her know that no woman gets away with slapping around Jai Walia….there was no passion in it…no love…just anger and something else…but before Bani could find out Jai had let her go ….a breathless and bruised Bani sat on the chair close by…..

I leave for Mumbai tomwr…you will follow in 2 weeks time and we will get married…..Rano and Pia will join us the day before the marriage as they have to wrap up school…my driver will pick u up at from the house at exactly 2pm the second Thursday frm today…..be ready

With a word of finalty Jai Walia straightening his tie left….

Coming back to reality Bani took a deep breath and closed her eyes….patani aur kya honewala hai meri zindigi meh
