Part 9

The day of the mehendi ceremony

Bani got up with a slight headache today….she thought to herself…"gosh yaar this has got to stop….im tired of being sick…" today im going to be happy…coz tomrw im getting married…..with that attitude she showered …wore a teal coloured kameez Masi presented her with silver jewellery and headed for breakfast"….to meet the rest of the family

Masi and everyone else greeted the new bahu….Pia and Rano were downstairs eating breakfast too…."when did u guys arrive???

Rano: hi di

Pia: hi di

Both running to hug her…

They all hug and Bani has tears in her eyes…."its so good to see you both here"…

Sahil: hi mamiji …im sahil…apka chota sa chela…..Bani just smiled…

Turn by turn all were introduced…..Ranveer, Anu….Aditya…dadi….rohit anu's boyfriend…..and Jigyasa

Jigs: welcome..bhabhi ji (okay Jigs is not as bad but very moody in my fanfic and Ranveer the very quite one)….Aditya and Jigs are still married but fighting constantly ….

Everyone meets Bani and presents her with some sort of gift and she is just over whelmed …so emotional…Jai is at the table quietly observing everything…Damn she is beautiful…so simple…he started to wonder how she looked if she had make up on ….and hair loose…hmmm…

Masi: areh Bani beta tum roh kiu rahi ho

Dadi: kya hua putar

Adi: agar Jai ne kuch kaha toh batado abhi usko set karte hai

Bani: nahi aisi toh koi baath nahi hai….bus mumma ki yaad agai…bhouth din baadth itna pyar mila hai

Jigyasa got up went to Bani and hugged her….: is parivaar meh tumhe pyar ke siwah aur kuch nahi milega Bhabi….please don't cry…..kaal aapki shadi hai hamare pyare bhaia ke saath…smile….

Bani had made everyone cry …..Jai no the other hand…didn't know this feeling he was having inside him…..he wanted to be where Jigyasa was…consoling Bani….why…
Finishing his coffee….sheesh Jai get a grip whts happening to you…

Masi: Areh Pia Rano Anu beta ise le jao aur taiyar karo…haldi ki rasam nibhana hai…..

Masi: Adi beta tumbhi Jai ko taiyaar karo

The whole Walia house was blooming with lights…music and the atmosphere was just amazing…the whole backyard was done in lights and the pool had lit up candles floating…

Bani dressed in an orange outfit…for the first time in her adult life she had really dressed up in such heavy accessories…it felt nice…all like a dream….she was only allowed to wash herself with water …no soap or body wash was allowed….her skin all radiat was glowing…beautiful…..the girls had done her beautifully…her hair on top..with a single bindiya haging in the middle of the forehead…loop earrings and necklace matching the outfit…and lots of bangles…..the bodice of the outfit was body fitting with a deep V at the back of the top…and for the first time Bani had put on makeup….its as if fate had listened to Jai and what he desired…..

…all day Jai had been kept away from her way….the haldi rasam was done during the day and tonight she was getting the mehendi done….his haldi rasam was done too….and he was dressed in a peach coloured sherwani with black sash (the stuff that goes around the neck) ravishingly handsome he looked….infact al the male in the house looked fantabulous….

Maasi and Dadi with the girls brought Bani down…the entire crowd were waiting for this moment as many had not seen the bride……Bani like princess made her way down the exact same stairs Jai was giving the speech yesterday..in the gorgeous setting of the backyard she was like the radiance from the light….

People in the crowd were like "ohhh"…"look at her"…"bhai maana pade ga…Jai ki kismet jag uthi"…"no wonder itna din intezar kiya"….of all his buddies Mohan went to Jai

Mohan: dek jai teri kimat arahi hai…..yaar tu toh hoshiyaar nikala…mere hi hotel meh itni sundar ladki thi aur mujhe maloom hi nahi hua

Jai was stunned too….hearing all this….he knew Bani was sexy and hot but …she was so simple…..as he turned to see where everyones eyes were…..the campaign glass leaving his hands to fall on the floor…..and he almost lost his balance….

Bani was ravishingly beautiful…..is this the same girl im marrying…haldi ka colour was just suiting her skin amazingly…..Jai couldtn take his eyes off her…he was not so sure of himself anymore…..…..every second…every breath….was changing to Bani….

Bani was the centre of attraction and she was really shy….the mehendi was like colour sticking to her skin…turning out deep dark maroonish red…almost black…..

The ladies kept teasing her….areh wah…bhouth hi pyara pati mila hai…dheko mehendi ka rang….embarrassing her…."yeah right pata hai kitna pyar karta hai mujse.." she thought

There were dances and a whole lot of fun…Sahil annoyed rano to extremes as she was just like Bani but not patient like Bani…she would get mad at everything and anything…..Pia …well she was the cenre of attraction amongst many guys….the one guy that caught her attention was Ranveer….he wouldn't even look at her….that didn't make Pia happy at all…if she was in town she must make sure every eyes were on her…..

Jai all this time couldn't take his eyes of Bani…he wanted to kiss her…hold her …touch her….it was getting too much…he cant wait one more night….its too much

The night ended on a beautiful note…..

Bani was really tired and she wasn't supposed to use her hands till tomrw…poor girl couldn't do anything

In her room…she went alright but couldn't change or get out of her outfit….Pia and Anu had retired for the night…rano came in to help…..she nicely got Bani out of everything and got her into her pyjamas….while doing this

Rano: di??

Bani: ha rano

Rano: aap khush toh hai nah?

Bani: Kya tum khush ho Rano…how could she tell her that she didn't know if she was happy or sad……but she knew she was marrying into the right family….

Rano: meh khush hu di ke appko itna acha rhista mila hai

Bani: ha Rano…shayad aab saab theek ho…but she thought jane kya zindigi meh aab hoga

With that Rano left…..Bani now wanting to sleep couldn't coz her hair was still up and her head was itching with al the pins…aareh Rano t oh yeh bhulgai…aab kya karu….she couldn't even take the phone to call anyone to help her….kya karu….she looked down at her hands and had the mehendi…aab kya karu???

Jai had come to see if she was asleep…he wasn't supposed to…he had told himself he had to stop doing this…wht was wrong with him….but one look wont harm him right….

As he stood at the door he saw Bani sitting on the bed juggling with her hands trying to do something…..aah he thought…her hair….the urge to wriggle his fingers thru them was too hard to resist….

Jai: I could help u know….all u need to do is ask

Bani conscious of his presence…just the sight of him pissed her off..and than she realized that she had her pyjamas on...agar usne comment ki toh aaj meh usko maar dugi

Jai putting his hair in the air…as a form of truce…"I promise I wont" as if understanding what her eyes said….

Bani a bit surprised….there was nothing similar about them yet he understood her thoughts …how silly???

Bani: umm…woh…thank you…but its okay…meh aise hi so jau gi

Jai: come here..i wont bite I promise….smiling….he went to her….Bani sitting on the dresser chair…and Jai behind her…..taking the pins off her hair not leaving her face

Jai: u know a bit of make up doesn't hurt…

Bani; what …didn't look up at him…afraid to look …to see him looking

Jai: thora sa makeup karogi toh kuch Hoga nahi

Bani; oh….was he giving her a compliment…..what a way Mr Walia she thought

Jai: s the pins came off her hair a mass of silk came rushing down on Jai's hands….oh so beautiful…it felt so good…and smelt of lilys…he inhaled and putting his fingers thru them….wriggled them…it felt so good…..slowly his fingers started to caress her head lowering to her neck….Bani didn't know what sensation was going thru her…..at first she didn't feel anything just shyness now…she couldn't explain it….her whole head felt so light…her whole body was tingling..she felt so relaxed…she closed her eyes…..mermerised in the feel of his touch….Jai's hands were caressing coming down further on Banis neck…he felt the collar of her shirt and made a face yet kept caressing it…..slowly the hands were on her shoulder…..caressing it…her skin felt so soft…slowly his hands kept going dwon further to her collar bone….a bit too much infront….…Bani heard the alarm in her head…what was she doing…no….the red alarm in her head started beeping…danger zone danger zone…no man…nobody for that matter had ever touched her this way…this is wrong

BAni: opening her eyes…didn't look up…Mr Walia?

Jai wasn't stopping…enjoying every feel….

Bani; Mr Walia???? ..she couldtn even touch him…her mehendi….MR WALIA…aap kya kar rahe hai..thhhhaaaannkk you ….my hair is gooo…goo…good now…

Jai opened his eyes .they were red and intense…BAni didn't know what she saw in them and cursed herself for looking up……Jai bent down kissed her neck…..and whispered….."Good Night my love I promise to carry on tomrw…when there is nothing to stop us……"…with that he was leaving….turning…as a flushed Bani took gulps of air in…..oh and ..Bani….first its Jai…and second…it doesn't hurt to leave ur hair open….

Bani thought…what a idiot..compliment bhi karna nahi aata…how much she hated him…but if she hated him..than did she enjoy what he was doing….or not????

Bani Dixit what just happened….clicking her mouth and shaking her hand she got into bed…..wrong wrong Bani Dixit…go to sleep
