The party had begun. There was a chocolate cake placed right at the middle of the hall. Jai and Bani moved towards the cake. The cut the cake together, celebrating their new bond. They fed each other. As if realizing the presence of the family around them, they went around the party and fed each of the members.
Elite businessman, politicians, media personas' all had gathered there. It was really a grand event. The party was called on a very short notice. But all the invitees and dropped in. After all, the great JAI WALIA was brushing off his long years of bachelorhood. Jai was been dragged by his friends to the bar. Even though he was present with his friends his soul wandered around the place where Bani was sitting with her friends. They had quite a few eye-locking sessions, those were either of them could turn their eyes away. Their was some kind of magnetic pull a bond that would never let them face away.
Jai's friends were discussing about Jai's college life when Tarun noticed that Jai wasn't really paying attention.
T : are bhai ! was sup ? . We are here to talk about you. Your grand marriage and here you are not even paying attention. Hello you here? Uff stop flying in air. Come back to earth. Jai are you listening. You will crash with aeroplanes.

J : Huh kya. Were you saying anything.
T : Mr Jai Walia if u stare at your would be wife like that she will burn into ashes. It's been ages since I am calling you to attract your attention. But it seems that your not even present here.
J : ahhhhhhh woww kuch nahi. I was thinking something. You people carry on.

With that Jai and all his friends burst out into a laugh.
T : Waise Jai you remember Sonali.
J : ahh kon.mujhe tikse yaad nehi hai.
T : Are tumhe kaise yaad hoga. Sonali the girl in the college who had a major crush on you.
J : Guys I seriously remember no such girl.
V : Jai how will you remember. There were so many girls brooding over you 24/7 that its quite impossible for you to remember one such girl.

T : Absolutely. Anyways she is back in town. At present she is the best model. The Walia's that is your company has approached her for their product launch.
J : So, what is so new about that. Why are you telling me these things? Wait are you telling me of that Sonali who use to sit beside me in the English classes. Wow she is back. It will be fun. (He was grinning)
B : Kya fun Mr Walia.
J : huh kuch nahi.
T : haan haan kuch nahi. Bas Jai ki ek purani dost is back in town. Isiliye yeh inta khush hai. Haina Jai.
J : Haan hmm.
(under his breadth) Wait till my chance comes Tarun Sablok. You will pay for this. Aise maza chakhaunga ki yaad rahega.
T : Did you say something.
J : No. Absolutely nothing.
S : are aap dono yaha kya kar rahe hai.Jaiyena dance kijiye. Hey DJ, lets rock the dance floor.
Jai asked for Bani's hand. She very graciously placed her hand on Jai's hand.
The music engulfed the whole of the dance floor.
Sahil was dancing with a very reluctant Rano. And Pushkar and Pia very swaying with the music.
From the surroundings Jai and Bani could here praise on their matched.
Bani was clutching on to Jai's sleeves. Jai was staring intently at those chocolate brown eyes as is sinking in the Arabian ocean. Bani was blushing beetroot.
J : Did anybody tell you that you are looking very beautiful yes.
B : Hmm yes.
J : huh who?
B : Hai koyi.
J : Bani batao mujhe gussa ara hai.
B : are isme gussa hone ki kya baat hai.
J : Bani.mujhe batao who kon tha.
B : kyun. main aapko kyun batao. Aap jaiye apne dost ke saath jake batheyi.bate kijiye. Main apki kya lagti hoon.
J : acha to yeh baat yeh.Waise tum nehi this apni dostoke saath.uska kya.

J : O.Tik hai. Magar aab mujhe batao kon tumhe compliment kiye. Sabhi jante hai kit um Jai Walia ki hone wali patni ho. Kisne kaha Bani tumse?
B : apki aankho ne.

With this they embraced each other.
B : waise aap inta gussa kyun hogaye the.
J : mujhe saha nahi jata ki mere ilava tumhe aur kyon dekhe.
B : Inta pyaar karte hai aap mujhse.
J : Tum soch bhi nahi sakti.
The song changed. They were switching partners. Jai was now dancing with Anuradha and Bani with Sahil. They were laughing and giggling over something.
Jai was staring at Bani with amazement. How beautiful she looks when she smiles. Bani had caught Jai staring at her.
The song changed. Now Jai was dancing with Rano and Bani with some anonymous person. He was rather drunk and was misbehaving with Bani. Jai was busy laughing away with Rano's witty comments when he noticed this. At once he excused himself from Rano and quite elegantly excused Bani from the hedoic partner. But the man was reluctant to let go off Bani so easily. He pulled Bani from her waist. Jai turned with blood red eyes. With one blow he hit the man heard straight on his nose. The man was bleeding. He stood up half conscious and tried nearing towards Jai. Jai picked him in the air and threw his away. Tarun, Sahil, Pushkar, Aditya and Kunal had to come to the spot to free the man from Jai's maddening rage. The party atmosphere was rather disturbed. Jai went to Bani's side and held her hands.
J : Tum tik ho.
Bani slowly whispered : Hmm
Jai embraced her tight near his heart as is never to let her free. A determination in his eyes to protect her from all odds. Jai had lost all his priced relationships before. He didn't want to loose Bani.
Jai took over the mike.
J : Sorry ladies and gentlemen the inconvenience. We may continue with the party.
With amazing self control Jai had resumed himself to his normal self. Maybe that is the reason he is JAI WALIA.
A : Ladies and Gentlemen we may now proceed with the ceremony. Jai and Bani idhar aao.
Jai took Bani by her waist and brought her to where massi and Aditya were standing..
Kunal gave Bani the ring and she slided it onto Jai's finger. Massi gave Jai the ring and he slided it to Bani's finger and then kissed her hand. Everybody cheered. After all the most eligible bachelor was going to get married.
