Part 18

Kunal gave Bani the ring and she slided it onto Jai's finger. Massi gave Jai the ring and he slided it to Bani's finger and then kissed her hand. Everybody cheered. After all the most eligible bachelor was going to get married.



It was not once that there eyes moved there stilling gaze on each other. With silent and soft BOYZONES numbers playing in the backdrop they seemed to drop in the eternal abyss of beauty and bliss.

Not in his entire reasoning life had Jai thought that after whatever he had undergone with his love life he would manage to loose his heart to someone else and also gain the pleasure of having someone's heart too.

Bani never had the time to indulge herself in any relationships.Till date her life was surrounded with scores of files and paper piling her office ebony table. But now she had Jai.

The whole evening had just flew by with Jai's deeping gaze and her friends constant giggles on catching Bani returning flying kisses and her eyelocking sessios.Numerous times they had been caught shamelessly staring at eachother.

That night after all the guest had left Bani was talking to Kunal.

K : Bani you remember the last vacation we had at Mount Abu. Wasn't that amazing.

B : those days were simple great.remember the see-saw..

K : Kyun na hum tumhari shaadi se pehele ekbar waha jaye. Who ghar abhi bhi waha hai.

J : kya bate ho rahi hai.

She was still angry at Jai for shamelessly staring at her making her face her friends.

T : Jai samhal ja. Bani to abhi se datne lag gayi hai. Baad me to Varun jaisa hal ho jayega. Kyun Varun.

V : haan Jai. Tarun is right. Abhi dekna maharani aayegi aur ….are wo dekho.

A lady of mid 30's of coming towards the group.

V : are Gitika tum aageyi. Mujhe laga ki tum Mrs Malhotra se baat kar rahi ho. Isiliye tumhe nahi bulaya.

G : Varun jhoot mat bolo. I was looking for you all over this place. I was talking to Mrs Malhotra a hour ago. Jai you tell me yaha aab kya khicdi paka raha tha ye.

V : are Gitika….. tumhe kitni baar kaha hai mujhe khana pakana nahi aata. Phir bhi…….

G : Varun… be quiet..Jai tum bolo.

J : are bhabi kuch nahi…haan bas yahi ki…

G : kya

J : nahi zaada nahi…yehi ki aap jo khana banati hai wo intna achcha hota hain ki roj usse uski secretary ki tiffin box share karna parta hai.

G : kya

V : are maine yeh kab kaha.

J : are tumhi ne to kaha tha. Haina Tarun.(winking at Tarun)

T : haan who..

V : Tarun to bhi..

G : tum chup raho. Haan Jai aur kuch bola usne.

J : zaada nahi bas..aapki bate usse bahut bore karti hain… aap raat main kharate bahut zaada marti hai.

G : Varun tum ghar chalo.

J : aur haan aur bhi kuch kaha hai.

V : Jai tu mujhe pitwaye ga.

J : aur kaha ki ki aap bahut acchi biwi hai. The most beautiful gift God had given him.

G : JAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIII tum sudroge nahi. Aab Bani aagai hai to tumhe yeh samhalega. Bani bachke rehena.yeh mazak zaada karte nahi hain. Aur jab karte hai to … kaire tum zaada janogi.

J : are Gitika aur bhi kaha hai.ki tumhari kahrate ke bina uski need nahi aati……..

G : Jai kyun mere bechare husband ko peeshan kar rahe ho.Bani kuch samjao…….now its upto you to handle him.

J : Absolutely. Bani inse zaara bach ke rehena. Bahut seyetan hai yeh.mere innocent fianc ko bigar denge.

B : Gitika yeh Mr Walia kabhi haste hain mujhe abhi pata chala.most of the time he is brooding and the rest fighting……..What is this Mr Walia why do you get so angry.

J : Bani…….you know very well that man angered me…he was disturbing you.thats was too much for me………..and moreover darling I couldn't really manage to stay apart from you for very long….and that stupid DJ was going on changing songs……….I wanted to dance with you..(kind of in a morosed tone)

T : Jai ab idhar mat suruho ja…this is your hall not your personal 4 walled room…………what will the world say..on seeing the big and mighty JAI WALIA like this..

M : are bacho why you all guys here….go to your bed……….anyways needed to inform you that I have organized a picnic tomorrow at farm house. I want all of you there.

J : magar massi I have a pretty pending work in the office….I didn't go today….please can we make it some other day.

M : no Jai………no more office tomorrow. You coming with us. Aur haan if any of your friends don't turn up you will be hold down.DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR.

J : yes massi.

Bani was subduing her laugh.Seeing the mighty and all rough and tough big headed JAI WALIA bowed in front of his mother like massi…was really a scene to be witnessed……..Bani couldn't deny that being so successful in his career and being reached almost the zenith he still had the family virtues…….and still held his family at a very high position.

M : are haan yeh Pushkar kaha gaya…………mujhe usse zaroori baat karni thi.

V : are woh raha.

Pushkar all drunk comes towards them.

P : tali tali tali re tali….

J : are yeh kya hal bana keh rak diya hai tumne.

M : Pushkar tumne inta pi kyun.What is all this Pushkar.

J : Pushkar gir jaoge sambhal kar……..subha tumhe dikha ta hoon.

Then starts the bantering of Massi and Jai. After sometime Pushkar stands all erect.

P : Bassss main aur nahi she sakta.

J : Huh…..Pushkar you all right………Offcourse yo aren't

P : are nahi Jai Sir I am all right.woh to natak tha.

J : Huh kyun.

P : are mujhe filmo main try karna hai……….and I realize that if I am able to…..

J : Pushkaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

P : are Jai Sir mazak kar raha tha……..woh achcha Bani ji aap yeh garam mijaz keh admi ko kaise she leti hai.

J : Pushkar.

P : ok enough…one serious question……..kya aap ko pata hai ki why Pia doesn't have any brains.
With this everybody starts laughing.

P : No really she is only bothered about her nail colour…………..

Hearing this Bani and the others started laughing starts laughing.

Bani had atlas found a family where motherly love a elders brothers concern in the form of Aditya.Kunal the best sibling and Natasha the best sister and law. But she was happy before more reasons.It was Jai.She never thought this sudden pleasant surprise would happen to her.It was only yesterday that she was all alone an now she had the man of her life beside her. She turned her eyes to Jai her eyes welling with tears.When Jai saw her moist eyes he was immediately shattered.

J : Bani kya huwa.Why are you crying.Baby tell me.

Without giving her a chance to say anything to clarify her reason of crying he engulfed her in a warm hug.Bani immediately forgot that she needed to clarify.She was lost in Jais warm embrace.Nothing in the worlds could separate her from Jai.Jai whispered in her ear..

J : Bani what's wrong.

B : Nothing its just that I am very happy.Life couldn't be any better.

Jai looked deep into her eyes.They were again lost in eachother.They were brought back to the world by the incessant coughs.

T : Kitni baar bola hai yeh tumhara bedroom nahi hai.

J : Tarun chup raho.

V : Jai you are doomed.

J : Varun zaada bak maat.

This continued for the rest of the night engulfed in laughs and sighs.
In the midst of all these bantering giggles Jai managed to whispered huskily in Bani's ears what he wanted to say throughout the evening…" I LOVE YOU "…and Bani soulfully responded to it.
