Thank You!!! I really enjoy hearing your thoughts about my fanfic. Sorry, I have not been able to update lately. Here is my Chirstmas present to all of you!!! I hope your Chirstmas is full of wonderful surprises and love.
Part 7:
Jai turned around to meet his eyes to Roshni, his ex-girlfriend. He had broken up with her 2 years ago, as she was only using him for his money. Jai's eyes turned cold looking at her.
Roshni: Hello Jai, how are you doing?
Jai: Fine,thank you Roshni
Roshni looked over at Bani and disgust came into her eyes. She was pretty with her hair in a long braid with two strands of her hair hanging on the sides of her face. She was wearing a simple chana-choli. Roshni knew the minute she saw her she was from a very cultured family and had very good values. This disgusted her as Jai could fall in love with such dirt. She looked over her up and down making rude comments in her head. Bani was becoming very uncomfortable the way she was looking at her. Bani walks up to her and takes out her hand.
Bani: Hello, I am Bani. I am Tarun's secretary.
Roshni: Hello, I am Roshni Chopra, Jai's girlfriend.
Jai: Ex-Girlfriend
Bani: Well nice to meet you why don't you join our party. Today is children's day and we are throwing a party to celebrate these cutie pies. Don't you love kids.
Roshni: No, I do not like children at all they cry and whine to much, and they ruin a woman's figure.
Bani was shocked at this woman and her remarks. She could not believe that this lady was Jai's girlfriend. It disguisted her. She quickly made some excuse and ran away.
--Meanwhile at the Airport--
Tarun had reached back to Mumbai and was heading to the office. He was very excited to come back and see Bani. He told his mother how he felt about Bani and she was very happy. She wanted him to quickly get married to her and bring her to him. She always loved Bani as a daughter and could not think of a prefect bahu (bride) for her son.
--Back at the Party--
Jai was very depressed to see Roshni after so many years. He had always hated her and was ashamed to think he once liked her. Thats why over the ages he had turned very cold. Recentally Bani had brought this sunshine into his life and he had become less cold. Roshni had some wicked ideas up her sleeve (as always)
and she paided the waiter to give Jai this glass of juice with a some mixture in it. The waiter was giving the glass to Jai, while Bani was standing near him. Jai took the glass of juice while bani took the other glass of juice.
Jai: hey, Bani do you want this juice. I don't like apple juice.
Bani: Sure, I don't like orange juice with pulp in it anyway. Jai you are to funny. If you didn't want the juice you could have taken a different one.
Jai: Yea, but who cares you don't like orange and I love orange juice. I don't like apple and you love apple juice so whats the difference.
Bani took the apple juice from Jai and drank it quickly. It tasted a bit odd to her, but she totally forgot about it when she saw Tarun walk through the entrance.
Bani: Tarun, you are back!! You should have called me. I could have picked you up from the airport. How is aunt? You didn't leave her just when she was not well, right??
Tarun: Bani, hold on to much at once. I am fine and so is mummy. And no I did not leave her when she is unwell. And, The aiport thing. I wanted to surprise you.
How did our project go?
Jai: hey Tarun, you have one heck of a secretary. She did a wonderful job on the presentation.
Bani: thank you, Jai.Come on lets go have some fun.
The music started and everyone started to dance once again. Roshni was in the corner watching Jai, Bani, Tarun, and all the children dancing. The only thing she had her eye on was Jai, waiting for the drink to turn into effect, so she could fly out as superwoman. Bani was dancing with Jai and talking while Tarun was getting something to eat. Jai turned around to talk to one of his clients when Bani started feeling dizzy and her head was pounding. Her knees were giving in and she slowing fell to the floor. Jai and Tarun both turned around.
Jai: Bani
Tarun: Bani
