but by these I am still not clear about one thing.....why allow people to create groups within groups...does that not create problems? like I said before why people want to be isolated from our parivaar but wants to remain in the parivaar, that creates a wall between the parivaar... and if somepeople feel comfortable with some other members then they should open their own forum and be with themselves... KS is a parivaar for everyone, where everyone is together and are equally treated there is no one more special than others! so why treat some people that way! we should have only one chat room for everyone else and anyone can post anything as long as it doesn't break the rule. but there should've be any thread only for somepeople....

Agreed and in months of time that KS forum has started, this is the first time that so many members found things are wrong and going out of control and hence need higher attention... Why is this issue being ignored when everything we said out in the open...

You know, rather than coming up with a solution, it's going no where! We are willing to compromise, but are you! And what compromise have you made except for opening the thread! Sree, we think the best thing to do is appoint new viewbies or mods for this section, that support "AF" to the fullest and other's members sentiments don't matter at all to them! I am sorry to say that favourtism is visible.... though i wish that it did not even exist.
This probelm has been now going on for about 2-3 days without any solution...actually more things are finally being said that before no one even dared to.

and yes i just want to add that we are going out from viewbiee position with our heads up and self respect intact and just wanted to let everybody knows that what our stand was and for what we were debating -it was simple and precious " self repect"

If we had the majority agreeing to it,then yes. I might have a different view,but on IF,decisions are based on majority,not individual whilms Komal. You were there in that discussion,and when everyone said they thought it was OK to open,you got angry.

Closing of that thread was perhaps not right under those circumstances. Opening it now is of current circumstance.

My pov is what I had before when we discussed it at one time......that topics simply cannot be closed because some don't like it or dislike the members who start it. If they are rude, or behave badly,they need to addressed,not an entire thread.

There was nothing wrong in the global thread,other than that members members were being told that this if for all......implying that some threads are for individuals..........when a thread is opened,it should be universal and that is a given thing.

Here we are not dealing with kids. We are dealing with many members who are grown up,and have a different way of looking at things. They might want a different kind of discussion,and as long as they stayed within rules, dev team cannot disallow them or deny them a topic.We are not rulers.If they don't behave,guide them.You have enough tools at your disposal,and a big dev team to fall back upon......

Komal,please think in a calm manner.If our purpose was to sinmply come and reopen, then each us GMs could have done indivuidually when we received those pms from many members who were very very unhappy. But we chose to go in a discussion,and acted only when we had a reasonable number of mods expressing their opinions and reasons.......

I have been a silent reader of the situation since yesterday but today I must say after seeing your comments Khoo, I have been quite shocked! If the mods/GMs/Admins didn't want you as viewbies in the Dev Team, you wouldn't be here today. No one has any personal animosity against anyone here. I don't understand why you feel that someone like Sree di who puts in hours on end to I-F wouldn't want you guys in the dev team - and lets clarify one thing. If they didn't want you in the Dev Team, all the GMs/Admins/Mods wouldn't have been in this section for the last 48 hours trying to say again and again that QUITTING IS NOT THE SOLUTION. They have tried to solve the problem and bring you back to the team - if the Dev Team didn't want you here, none of us would have been here trying to sort things out.

You talk about appointing new viewbies Khoo but let me remind you that if you truly care about your KS Parivaar and all that you guys have said, you would look for a solution right away and not quit this way. A person who cares, truly shows it and I just hope that you do show your caring for this section and for the I-F family by working out a solution....The members and your KS Parivaar should be larger than any problem that comes up!

Girls, please do not take this as a personal attack that we are doing on you both... Please!!! To err is human, so it is just that we are telling you all that such issues which have a tendency to blow out of proportions, need to be brought to the knowledge of CMs/ GMs/ Admins before hand...

This should have been done when you got so many PMs asking for closure of that thread, when few were consistently being rude with you, when you felt things were onig out of control....

One moer thing is, we always learn by experience... I have also made number of wrong decisions being in IF.. But i have never moved away from the scenario ..... I have always accpeted whenever there was a person trying to advise me... So please, try to think calmly... We do not want to lose you all... We are not going on a Right/ Wrong trial here. What we are trying to convey is that, issues can be well handled and resolved when we take actions at appropriate time.... So please do think calmly...

Hey, I guess the problem still stands and there is no point in staying here, when my best buddies got disrespected, insulted and undermined in such a shallow way. I was very much part of the ks forum from the elderly days, and I have always appreciated the hard work and affect my fellow friends put into the ks forum. I personally believe no one else could ever take the KS forum to such high standards.

But o well it's a shame such talented members, have to take such extreme steps because they were not treated appropriately by mods and other fellow members. I am extremely hurt, by the attitude of some people and it's a shame because of one group we have come to this decision to leave the family me once created and formed.

I don't really know what to say, as I am completely traumatized.
