When Jai moved away from the table Bani took a deep sigh.

Jai Just didn't react he was holding on to her and slowly tried moving away like a robot. He just turned his face so that he could catch a glimpse of her while he was still reeling in what she had said now. Jai was more confused by Bani's action and why did it bother him so much about the way she felt. Why for the first time a mere girl could evoke such feeling in him which no one has been able to evoke. This was maddening he needed to stay away from her or he would go insane. Just then he hears a knock on the door.

Jai: Come in. Along side he was trying to arrange the pillows under Bani's head so that she could sleep comfortably.

Butler: Sir Bitya's bag. It was in the car.

Jai: Oh just leave it on the table Jai said without bothering to turn around.

Butler leaves saying goodnight.

And Jai was trying to get up when he notices that the bracelet had got hooked onto his shirt button while he was arranging the pillows for her.

He slowly tried to untangle it while at the whole time he just kept looking on to the angelic face. And as he was leaving, He whispered good night into her ears.

Bani too mumbled something which was similar to Good night. But by now she was fast asleep. The way she slept she looked like a baby to him and it brought a smile on his face. And that was something no body brought about on Jai Walia's face for a very very long time.

As he was walking out of the room his eyes fell on the camera. Out of curiosity or what he didn't know he just couldn't stop himself so he went ahead and checked the pictures on it. There was a lovely picture of his just after the show were Bani was looking on to one of the drawing exhibit made by the children who would be benefited out of the charity program. She had a sweet smile and Jai was there just right behind her. It was the perfect picture of a couple. He slowly took the camera and the cable which was lying there and downloaded the photos onto his laptop from eh study before placing it back. He felt like one of those teenage boys in college who would try to get pictures of the girls in college. He knew it was wrong to download them. But then how would she know.

As the next day dawned Jai was back in office but Bani got to hear a lot from the family.

Nattu: So I hear from Massi that you were fast asleep and he had to carry you.

Bani: Stop it Nattu or this orange juice is over your head.

Pushkar walks in hearing the commotion.

Pushkar: Who had to be carried and Bani how was your ride with the ware wolf.

Nattu: Array yaar ask her how was the night with Jai Walia.

Pushkar who was gulping down the juice straight from the pitcher chocked over the drink. And was coughing very badly.

Massi: What happened here?

She was so frantic and helping Pushkar along with Bani

Bani: See what you have done now can't keep that big mouth of yours shut.

Massi: I don't know who the kids in this house are. Enough of your masthi and get going with your jobs. Munna just left Bani home and for that you have been after her life from morning. It was really nice of him to spend an evening with us and this is what you say.

Nattu: Massi correction he spend the evening with Bani. (Massi gives him dagger looks) Fine for a little while with us too.

Pushkar: Hey come-on now Our Rani just got a ride with him…

Nattu: You missed the details. She went to office with him and I get to here this from his lawyer Mr. Tarun that Big bro had a date with him after the show and who is it our Bani Rani. Then I get to know Bani slept off in his office and my poor Bro had to bring her home and put her to bed. While she snoozed off. He had to spend the night here and leave quite early in the morning.

Pushkar: My my Bani rani so much happened and you didn't tell me. So got to see the lions den too yesterday.

Bani: Oh just shut up. As though I had a choice. He just said sorry we are going to t the office (and Bani was imitating in Jai's tone) Just because his lawyer wanted him to work out the details for the meeting. And no asking if Bani is fine or would you mind. He just ordered me. And what am I supposed to do in that office while he works.

Pushkar: Well one time I have been there I did see a good LCD T. V.

Bani: Oh great and I don't like to watch the TV. in mute. All I could hear was the clicking away of the laptop keys. Got a date it seems. I would say it would be the worst date in a girl's life.

Pushkar: But you did have dinner also.

Bani: Ya considering the fact that Adi uncle and he talked as though I was a ghost or something.

Nattu: Our Rani is mad because she wasn't entertained that's all. But does she realize for the first time my Bro has bowed to someone's wish and come.

Bani: Cut the crap out. He came to escape from that vamp girl friend of his.

Nattu: Really all serious Let me tell you something Bani Rani. Jai Walia knows his mind and no one can make him do anything that he doesn't wish to do. So if he has come last evening it is because he wished to be there and one more thing as for the likes of Roshini he has been warding her off from college days it would be cake walk for him to just cancel his date with her. So ….

Bani stop trying to defend your brother's actions. By the way when did you become his pal?

Nattu: Oh I'm not so paly with him like you put it its just that for Roshini never my bro would go to such an extreme as she is insignificant to her. Yes but still he choose to attend the show that is something I haven't figured out.

Bani: Now please don't tell me he came because I invited him. That would be the biggest crap I have heard.

Nattu: No but your invitation could have been the means for him to get close to what ever he has in his mind.

Bani: Like

Nattu: For that you have to go to my Bro. No one has ever been able to read what goes on in that head.

Pushkar: Hey cut it out. The night got over and I missed the whole morning fun of meeting the lion himself.

Bani: Oh he was out of the house before I got up.

Nattu: Ya and I was called here so early so that he could inform me about the next venture.

Bani: But you got to eat a decent breakfast. So be thankful that I got him home last night.

Nattu: But to start the day with my Bro and that lawyer friend of his is not my cup of tea.

Bani: I don't get your Bro I thought you signed off all the rights to him then why is he after you.

Nattu: That my bro he keeps me posted all the details and financial aspects you know I am the bridge between my mother and Bro. Have you ever seen talking to her? I have to do all the talking.

Pushkar: Ya and you get rewarded for it too so stop cribbing unlike me were my father is planning to get me trained under him.

Bani: I just don't get it. Why are you so worked up with him? He seemed like a nice person to me.

Nattu: Wow Bani one night and so much of difference of opinion.

Bani: Well I didn't know him now also I don't but at least he seemed to be a very good gentle man to me.

Nattu: Ha gentle man anything but that. And Tarun yapping away about you was worth the morning effort of getting up and coming here.

Bani: hey that guy just spoke to him over the phone and from morning I'm hearing Tarun said this and that.

Nattu: Well he was pulling bro's leg and he didn't mind one bit that's first time actually he was kind of enjoying it. Till? I blurted out it was you.

Bani: You did what

Pushkar: I would have loved to see Tarun's face.

Nattu: You missed to see my brother laugh at him.

Pushkar: Does he even know to laugh.

Nattu: Well must say Bani Rani you have achieved something which none of us were able get him to attend charity show. Spend a whole evening and night with the family; make him laugh over Tarun's stupid jokes. Which normally he kind of walks off or just pass some sarcastic comment.

Bani: Well like you said yourself your brother has a purpose to everything so now way am I in it. He came because he choose to come, He was rather forced to spend the night as the drive back would be too late and Tarun and he had the meeting with the client in the hotel which is just 15 minutes from here.

Nattu: How do you known all that

Bani: I was there the whole night with him remember.

Nattu: Wow this is first were Jai Walia isn't bothered with someone listening to his entire plan being discussed.

Bani: Shut up and get over with it. You both are giving me a head ache.

Massi passes by and says

Massi: Thank God at least that girl has some sense and try learning something from her.

Pushkar: Not now Massi We know she is a topper in her class the best dancer, very good in doing sketches lah blah. In short she is a prodigy.

Massi: Do not put nazar on my daughter.

Pushkar: Frankly Nattu between her Munna and daughter I think we are losers. Now I want to see who is actually her favorite Munna or Bani Rani. Bani hears the phone ring and goes to get it

Bani shouts from the side of the stairs.

Bani: No doubt on that Her Munna isn't it massi

Massi: Oh come here I support you and this is what I get.

Bani: Oh massi you don't like any one trashing your Munna's name that is why you get so upset. But she comes running down and hugs. But still you are my sweet massi.

Nattu: come lets make a move now its their family.

Bani: Someone is jealous and Bani goes on.

Days go by but Bani and Jai are busy with their lives. Bani takes the pictures to her school and everyone goes gag gaga over the photos but then her friends notice her pictures with Jai and they kind of tease her.

Friend1: Hey Bani who is this hunk yaar

Friend2: Array yaar don't; you ever look into the business section that is Jai Pratap Walia for you.

Friend1: But I didn't know you knew him.

Bani: That is Massi's Munna my dear.

Friend3: The khadoos you talk about Hey the guy looks sweet.

Friend1: I would have been willing to listen to anything for a date with him.

Bani: Oh really shall I give you his number then.

Friend2: Hey Bani don't be so mean.

Friend3: By the looks of it he is very much bestowed with you.

Bani: Oh shut up all you. Me and my big mouth to tell you everything.

Friend1: Ya love always starts with a fight.

Bani: Love where did that come. And for your information after that I haven't seen the guy at all.

Friends make fun of her again singing Pyaar mai judaai.

But that night as Bani flipped through the photos she kept on string at the picture of hers and Jai. She unknowingly felt like caressing that face. And she was left thinking why did it bother anyone making fun of her Many a times she has been linked up with various boys in school and the dance school she goes to it never bothered her in fact she took it in a stride and went to the extent sometimes to flirt with the person. She was always a fun loving kind. Like Pushkar always pulls her leg whenever Daksh shows some concern about her. But it never brought sleepless night or restlessness in her like how being linked up with Jai. May be because the man himself was an enigma and rather recluse that she found it intriguing about the person. And she went off to sleep thinking of Jai that night and some nights after that but then Jai never showed up so it was something like a distant memory...

But then four months later Bani Massi and the whole gang had planned to go their Kuldevi temple for the annual pooja and there was to be a mela also held there. After the pooja was over and as they were coming down the stairs Massi kind of slipped as her pressure was low and she felt giddy and fainted there. Bani was helping out Massi but then she couldn't hold on to her for long and she too slipped but tried to support Massi from falling by the time the others reached to their rescue. Bani had injured herself. So the very next day they were back in Bombay and to get a through check up for Massi and also to show Bani's leg. She was in great pain and she was cribbing all the while as she had a dance show in another six weeks. She was throwing tantrums that now she couldn't take part for it. Massi felt guilty. But seeing Massi's sad face Bani stopped crying at the hospital and when the doctor said she would be up on her feet in another four weeks if she took proper rest she was over the moon and she was making such a big racket that Adi didn't hear the mobile also. Finally while she was taken away to be properly bandaged Adi saw 10 missed calls from Jai.

Adi to himself

Now I am jacked.

Adi calls Jai immediately and tells him he is in the hospital.

Jai is royally pissed off with Adi

Before Adi could say hello or anything

Jai: Oh so finally you found the time to attend my call and who do you expect to do the presentation for the meeting. Can't at least tell the department or your sectary were you are. Next time you take off better keep me posted personally or I think I will have to place a tracking device Jai was going on and on While Adi was trying to interrupt him and tell him about what had happened but Jai in his usual foul mood was blasting off.

Just then form the back ground he hears someone screaming that was Bani for you. While bandaging the nurse kind of moved the leg and it hurt her.

Jai: Where the hell are you and what is all that noise screaming.

Adi kind of explains massi's situation to him to which Jai enquires now what the doctor has to say. Adi informs him plenty of rest and proper diet to which Jai kind of says as thought that would happen. Again we hear Bani screaming as she tried to put her foot down and walk.

Jai: Is everyone else fine what is all with that noise.

Adi: That's Bani she kind of injured in the process while helping Massi.

Jai: What the hell keeps happening to you all when you go on a trip to the temple for a day. I'm coming there and personally talking to the doctor looks like I have to get everyone examined the young and the old.

And he just bangs down the phone.

Adi: Great now he is coming down here. So brace yourself guys.

And Adi goes to tell everyone the great news.

Massi: Munna is coming to see.

Adi: Be prepared for his lecture now.

Nattu: Why can't you keep that mouth of your closed?

Bani: Oh try getting your ankle sprained and that stupid doctor over there he made it worse by putting that splint. My leg looks like a hipoo.

Pushkar: When the ware wolf comes try to keep your emotions in control or we all are going to get good.

Jai walked in as the doctor was briefing Massi on her diet and medicines. Also Bani was told to come after a week to se the leg.

When Jai walked din the doctors were at awe as he was member of the board and to have him there was like a major thing

Doctor: Mr. Walia an unexpected visit

Jai: Well you could say I had to rather come.

Massi: I am his aunt he just wanted to see how...

That was it the doctor went to explain about her condition and to come for regular check ups.

Mean while Nattu and Pushkar seeing this

Nattu: Great now the doctor trying to impress Bro

Pushkar: Well he just ensured his next promotion and for us another dressing down...

Just then they wheel in Bani. Jai on seeing her notices she has been in pain.

Jai turns to Pushkar and Nattu

Where the hell were you two? I thought you went to make sure that they reached home safely.

Massi didn't want a scene to be created

Massi: Munna they were very much behind me. Moreover we are here since morning and Bani can't put her leg down for so long it gets swollen up so if we could make a move.

They move down the corridor and lift. All this while Bani was in a wheel chair. Then she was handed the crutches by the attendee to walk. Bani kind of fumbles with it while Nattu and Pushkar jus watching trying to see if she can balance herself. Or she would blast them now if they went to help her knowing her temper since yesterday.

Jai just turned back to see everyone kind of waiting while Bani was trying her best to come to terms with her crutches and walk while she was getting a hang of it. She kind of slipped but she got her balance back and everyone was pleased with her effort but Jai was too mad. Seeing the whole family just watching her make the move and she was in such a pain he couldn't understand why it was so difficult for her to ask for some help. He was loosing his patients and the car had just come to the drive way when Jai walked up to Bani Took the crutches from her hand and handed it over to Pushkar and carried her in his arms and walked off to his waiting car and made her sit comfortably raising her leg with the back cushions.

All were dazed my seeing this that they were transfixed only when Jai opened his mouth did they walk up to him.

Jai: Adi why don't you join me the other can come in the other car.

Adi: I brought my car so I think I will move to the office and I have to do up the presentation. I just spoke to the head and they have rescheduled it for the afternoon with eh client.

Jai: Great then I will se you in the evening. I will drop her meet up with Tarun and the auditor and then we can finalize on the rest.

As Jai's car drove away.

Nattu: What was all that

Pushkar: Don't ask me. I am left with the crutches.

Dadi (Adi' mother): Billu today your Munna is up for a lecturing session. So be prepared. I'm off to watch the new Sharukh Khan DVD. Are you boys with me.

Nattu: No dadi I have been away form work now for like three days so got to catch up.

Pushkar: Massi Dadi really sorry I got to prepare for the upcoming assignment so I had told my friends to some home.

Massi: First sign of trouble run away. Badmash.

Nattu: Massi After all he is your Munna.

Massi: Ha you all will come to me again that time we will see. Who will plead your case?

Pushkar: I pity Bani with the ware wolf.

Massi: I hope he doesn't loose his cool with her now.
