well, i missed a lot of it due to a power cut but managed to
catch the last part. most of the episode seems to have involved
tribhuvan and kareena plotting on stopping the engagement.
pammi tries to convince her parents they have to call her rj
kareena in front of tushar (i guess she told them earlier in the
episode about him). they think padmalakshmi is a perfectly
good name. kareena adds her bit and tells them that she thinks
that tushar is strange - tomorrow tushar might like to change
their names to chritopher columbus and brintney spears. i got
the idea that pammi had told them that tushar likes kareena
kapoor or something to that effect. anyway, they refuse to call
her kareena and pammi gets this look in her face and suddenly
capitulates and says that she'll do whatever they want. kareena
wonders what this new twist is.
pammi calls tushar that her parents have fallen sick after
getting into bombay and they can't meet that day. i think they
arrange to meet the next morning.
kareena calls danny and talks to him. he sounds mad at her at
first as she broke his relationship with pammi and she's the last
rj he's called. she tells him they can help each other and talks
to him. he says, pammi must love me if she spoilt your love life
because you ruined hers. kareena says, yes pammi loves you
very much and tells him to do as she says (i think he's
supposed to land up at pammi's house in the morning).
tushar's dad is getting ready the next morning. he wears a
monkey cap and hides a earpiece/ mic in it. he tells neelu and
tushar that he's cold. neelu is aghast but tushar hurries her
away as she's needed elsewhere. he tries to hurry tribhuvan
too but he pretends to look for gloves and stalls for time. he
then calls kareena to coordinate.
pammi's mom is shown opening the door and looking a bit
confused. tribhuvan calls kareena from the gate as neelu and
tushar go ahead to the house to give running commentary. they
introduce themselves at the doorstep and then the focus is on
the other couple who had openned the door and though they
introduce themselves as kareena's parents, they are some
other ppl (actors?)
