Defining Moments...

A moment in time, is all it takes ... for miracles to become a reality, for borders to be crossed, for truth to be unmasked, for a journey to end, for emotions to be voiced , to be heard, for the conscience to be hushed or heard , for one to be able breakfree from the chains that bind, for one to be able to look beyond the apparent, to see beyond the mask the hides the truth, for the seed of mistrust to be sowed in, for hatred to pave way for an eternal bond of love and trust...

Moment of realization shall it be called , as a lone ray of hope it shall lead through darkness... for hanging on to this moment , shall one journey through the dark towards eternal bliss....

For a moment shall define a life, the path one shall tread hence...as looked upon it shall be hence as the defining moment, along the memory lane of life....

Revelling in the glory of those defining glorious moments shall one , move on , towards the destined, unable to deny , cherishing the foregone moments....

Shiv Kapoor has had his share of the defining moments and he walks now , the path laid afore hanging on to those moments , moments of truth that lead him on now...

Moments , those precious few , in which he saw, heard, her unwavering faith in him and in her own destiny she believed bound her to him, her pain as she saw her shattered dreams of a world she harboured away from his hatred, her agony as she held on to a bond he denied , her acceptance of his denial , his despise, his indifference, her struggle to set him from the darkness that threatened the tie that bound them, her belief in eternity , eternal bonds, that last forever, her silent tears she sheds that speak of the agony of the deceit she faces, of his mistrust, of her trust , misused and demeaned....

Overpowering moments , as they were, they lead him, as he seeks the truth to set her free of the agonizing chains of mistrust that bind her ... for in her eyes, he relives those foregone moments yet again.....

Sense of unworthiness, all encompassing, he seeks to set her free.....for mislead by the sense of his own worth, attempt to deny the moments of truth , he does... unaware of his destiny , his eternal companion.......

Foregone moments , now set afore a path , towards the destined, for return one shall not , who set afoot on path towards destiny....and so does he walk towards his destiny unaware....

Yeah, moments-- unforgettable ones, which will last till their ends..For, Shiv Kapoor may have always wanted this bond to break but still he is an integral part of it ..They may separate for now but this silence, and these defining moments, as you have rightly named them, will come back to haunt him...

It was a thought that occured that one who has lived through those defining moments , can he really not emerge, touched and changed... and that is it really possible that kapoor remain, as unaware he was earlier...

sareeta fantastic and you have well defined shiv emotional turmoil and the title perfect.."defining moments"...

i totaly agree with all you have penned down about shiv's emotional turmoil..

that reminds me of the three best scenes between shiv/gauri..the 14,15and 16th nov... these 3 scenes and the powerful dialogues of gauri reflect all you have penned down above..perfecto sareeta.. 👏 👏

gauri did tell him in the scene where they confessed so much in these few mins before death ,shashank has shattered her trust and may be she wont be able to trust someone else this much again...you said it right shiv relives those moments again...i think the scene between shiv/gauri in the 14thnov epi is a great example ..gauri getting flasbacks of how much hatred shiv has for her and how her love has lost and his hatred has won.. for her ,once again shiv has shattered her trust and the illusion world she was living in to keep her happy..in the end shiv telling her "jho tumhein sochna hein socho,mein koi safai nahin dounga"..he knows better that to prove his innocence will not be of any use nor she will trust him, so thats why he chose to find the truth himself and to set free from those chains of mistrust that bind her..

yeah he wants to set free as he thinks, he is not the best companion for her but may be in this separation as you have so perfectly written these defining moments will haunt him and which will lead him to his destiny..
