please ,just because shilpa says something dont brand all indians with such names, dont generalise.
to shilpa i have this to say -all have their likes and dislikes, but that does mean they go around saying things that r so mean and hurting and insulting , what ever she said shows her mentality which is disgusting. 🤢 😡
and i dont know why kandy floss encourages actors to speak such things, i saw a few episodes where some actors talked things that should have been censured.
what point is kekta trying to make 😕

As long as the mistake is realized, it's good.
There's nothing wrong with being politically correct. At least, one should be on TV, so as not to generalize about dark babies being unattractive.

I know that was completely wrong of her to say that but i think I know how it came to her.

ok i lived in india for quite a while when i was younger and this is what the assumptions people make

1. being fair means RICH 😕
2. being DARK means poor 😡
3. Darker people (poor) arent educated and the fair ones are

SOOOOO most ppl in India prefer fairness

it pisses me off that they are so prejudiced. i hope it changes for the better soon

Even if she does not subscribe to those points of view, all I can think of is how low below zero does your intelligence need to be that you forget the glaring lights of the big camera staring at you before you open your trap and give everybody a full trailor view into the unmeasured depths of your stupidity...😆😆😆

Atleast before this episode only your husband knew what a mistake he made......now even the shopkeepers will laugh at him..😉

I think the word of the moment is 'DUHHHHH !!!' 😉

😆😆😆 That is so funny! You are right. As someone else also said, she's not the fastest bunny in the race. But you are right about the existence of of the camera. I mean who makes a mistake like that!? Even if your views are what they are, don't openly show them if you know that they will make a negative effect on you. Saying astounding things does not make one hot. She was trying to be a little outspoken like Archie. But one cannot be someone that one is not. Archie is Archie, and Shilpa is...well, just Shipa.

I agree with u theres nothing wrong in being dark. So many beautiful actresses r dark such as Rani, Bipasha, Lara, Priyanka etc and hav been said 2 b hot, sexy, beautiful etc. What shilpa said on televison made her look like a fool.

Theres an indian soap called Saat Phere on Zee which looks at an average girl Saloni, who has a good personality but is looked down upon because of her dark complexion therefore ppl think that she is ugly when she indeed is quite pretty. Thats the basis of the soap - dealing with these sort of regional issues, that still happen in parts of india and i guess Shilpa sort of encouraged these thoughts of being dark -she made it seem as if being dark is a bad thing

Saying such a lame thing on TV is not pardonable. Each mom finds her baby very cute, dark or fair, chubby or skinny..... So Shilpa has offended moms like me. Moreover who is she to make such statements. Is she the marriage fixer for AB? 😡

Her photos at times are really dark. It must be whe she does not apply those thick layers of makeup to give herself that bleached pale look.

I did not like Shilpa earlier now I hate her. 🤢
