Shehnaaz Gill hospitalised, Brother Shehbaz shares health update

Popular actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill has been admitted to the hospital after falling ill. Her brother, Shehbaz Badesha, shared a post on his social media, showing Shehnaaz lying on a hospital bed. Along with the photo, he wrote, “Get well soon,” sending love and prayers her way.

Earlier Shehnaaz herself also updated her fans about her health condition through her Instagram story. In the video, she revealed that she is currently receiving an IV drip due to low blood pressure. Despite her condition, Shehnaaz didn’t lose her usual sense of humour. She joked, saying, “Drip laga hua hai, par stress hai… moti lag rahi hoon,” which means “There’s a drip attached, I’m stressed… I look fat.” Her cheerful attitude, even in tough times, won hearts online.

This is not the first time Shehnaaz has faced health issues. Around two years ago, during the promotions of her film Thank You For Coming, she was hospitalised because of a serious food infection. At that time, too, she had gone live on Instagram from her hospital bed to assure her fans that she was doing fine. She had been treated at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

Even though she is unwell, Shehnaaz has a lot happening in her professional life. She is currently working on her debut Punjabi film titled “Ikk Kudi”, which is expected to release in September. The film is directed by Amarjit Singh Saron and is co-produced by Raaya Picturez and Amor Film Presents. The story is women-focused and stars talented actors like Nirmal Rishi, Udaybir Sandhu, and Harby Sangha alongside Shehnaaz.

In addition to her film work, Shehnaaz has also collaborated with famous rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh for a music video. Fans have already seen behind-the-scenes clips from the shoot, where Shehnaaz looks stylish in a Jamaican-inspired look featuring cornrow hair and orange-black outfits. She even playfully praised Honey Singh’s sense of humour, calling it “desi.”
