Hansika Motwani deletes wedding pictures from Instagram, has the actress silently confirmed her separation?

Actor Hansika Motwani, known for her work in South Indian cinema, is back in the spotlight not for a new release, but due to her personal life. Buzz around her separation from husband Sohael Khaturiya has taken over social media, especially after she deleted his photos from her Instagram handle.

Hansika tied the knot with Mumbai-based businessman Sohael Khaturiya in a grand wedding at Jaipur’s Mundota Fort and Palace in December 2022. The wedding even turned into a docu-series titled Love Shaadi Drama on Jio Hotstar, which offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the lavish affair. The series, though popular, was met with mixed reactions online for commercialising personal moments.

The couple’s marriage didn’t begin quietly either. There was already controversy surrounding their union as Sohael was previously married to Rinky Bajaj, who, as per several reports, was Hansika’s close friend. The actress faced criticism and was even labelled a "home breaker" by sections of the internet. The couple, however, did not respond publicly to the accusations at the time.

Now, nearly three years later, speculation of a split has intensified. In July 2025, The Hindustan Times reported that Hansika and Sohael were possibly living apart. The report mentioned Hansika residing with her mother, while Sohael was with his parents. This, coupled with her silence on social media and absence of posts with Sohael, led many to believe something was amiss.

Sohael, in an earlier interaction, tried to downplay the speculation, saying, “It’s not true.” But his statement didn’t convince fans. Especially now, when Hansika has wiped their pictures off her feed, questions are again being raised. Interestingly, Sohael hasn’t posted anything since 2023 but has kept his photos with Hansika intact.

As of now, neither Hansika nor her team has issued a clear statement. Sohael’s brief denial hasn’t helped clear the air. With no clarity from either side, fans and followers continue to wait for confirmation. Meanwhile, the couple's silence only seems to deepen the speculation surrounding their relationship status.
