all were in good positions of their carriers. they were achieving what they wanted. nandini was doing well in her company. she had one personal secretary. who was not just a secretary.

it was one of her friends. no..not manik. it was navya. yes. navya. she didn't want to work before marriage. she knew that her parents would get her married off soon as she was turning 25. she would have to settle her job preferences as per her in-laws. though she knew they are very supportive. then also she thought it would be a mess. so she decided to start working after her marriage.

now she was working with nandini. to help her. as she will get experience and also it would be a nice pass time with a friend. nandu was also happy about this. because she was so worried about whom her parents would choose for her help. and the matter was solved as her very own friend came as a helping hand for her.

navya's marriage was already fixed. her parents were searching a suitable guy for her. and at last they selected one of course with navya's consent.

he was none other than cabir dhawan. yes they were gonna get married soon. but it was an arranged marriage. they still didn't found their love in each other. but was happy with their parents decision.

manik was now working on his research project. where he was finding a way out for patients like nandini.

MaNan were together. but not officially. they both have jobs now. so they could meet at night only. after returning from respective jobs. but sometimes at lunch break they would get a chance to meet.

during their these short meetings they would not talk much. if they would start any topic, it would end up in dhruv's matter.

they all seemed so happy outside. but only the 7 wonders knew what they were feeling inside with a person missing every time from their life.

they all missed dhruv whenever there would be a celebration or something. actually they never let themselves miss him. they would go to the place where he was sleeping, every time they needed him.

that one incident changed their lives in a way. they still couldn't forget the day when they heard about dhruv.

'"flash back'"

doctor stood their hanging his head low. all were eagerly waiting for him to say something about dhruv. finally he opened his mouth to say the thing which didn't change their situation even a bit.

"I am sorry." the doctor said. "we are trying our best. but we still need time. we are trying to do something for him. but he is badly injured. we have to keep him in observations for atleast a day. then we might say about his further treatment."

saying this the doctor left. leaving all his friends and family waiting.
aliya who was silently crying till now, stopped. as she knew her cry would not get him back. she had to be strong and wait for the doctors.

they all waited for two long days. 50 long hours almost. they couldn't eat properly. they were waiting. this time some other doctor came towards them.

his statement changed their lives. "we did what we could do. but we couldn't make it better. Mr. dhruv vedant slept into coma. we are really very sorry about it."

all were in shock. they couldn't believe their ears what they heard. but it was all true. it wasn't any nightmare, from which they wanted to wake up soon. it was reality which they couldn't decline.

after seeking permission one by one all went to visit him. though it was of no use. aliya was the 1st one to go inside. she sat there all the while untill dhruv's parents asked her to come out. as the visiting hours were over.

they could understand what was going on between aliya and dhruv. but they could never understand what was her feelings that time. trying to be strong she didn't shed a single drop of tears after knowing about dhruv's condition.

dhruv's parents took aliya with them in their house. as seeing her condition they were afraid to leave her alone. thinking, she might do something stupid. though she wouldn't do anything like that, her friends also thought it to be a good decision.

all were sad of what happened. it shook them hard. all were breaking down. but if one would break down others would help him or her.

Nandini was very much affected by it. she for some reasons was too much shocked. manik tried to assure her that all would be fine. but even he didn't know when the time would come.

everyone from that day tried to survive the fact. but it got harder day by day. hope for dhruv to come back to their lives were getting no response. their wait was getting more painful with time.

but they all tried to keep a smile on their faces showing the world that they were okay. dhruv was not in his house but in the hospital only. his parents decided it for him and no one argued for it.

his friends always come to meet him. and aliya despite her busy schedule, came to dhruv regularly.

they all still celebrated every occasion. but in the hospital. they shared everything with dhruv. starting from mukti choosing a musical career to CaVya marriage.

he heard it all. but couldn't respond. their heart broke seeing him like that. but they all were keeping calm waiting for him to respond one day.

'"flashback ends'"

after this incident they took some decisions. as now they don't play music in group. the 7 wonders don't perform anymore. because their one member is not there. they are all for one and one for all types. so they will start the band again when dhruv will be with them.

cavya was ready for the engagement. but refused to marry without dhruv's presence. and their parents, specially navya's parents reluctantly agreed to this.

nandini. our nandu got really scared from all this accident thing. she didn't show but was worried for aliya.

MaNan were still not officially together. because nandu was afraid of commitment. after what happened with dhruliya, she really doesn't want to be in a relationship. scared for them falling apart.

so MaNan was the same like before. manik could understand her turmoil. so he decided to respect her decisions and wait untill dhruv recovers.

mukti started her solo musical carrier. keeping in mind that once dhruv will come around, she would return to the band.

aliya was still living in dhruv's house with his parents. they really were treating her well. they were so supportive. didn't want her to suffer alone. in fact, it's them only who forced aliya to work. which she denied at first. because they wanted her to be busy with other things so she would suffer less. but it was impossible for her to not think of dhruv.

sometimes HOPE is the best policy.

because it makes you wait for something without any expectations. and hope wins for sure.

N it was beyond awesome...

just because manik couldn't claim her as his girlfriend or lover in front of all, doesn't mean that he would not treat her special.

manik comes late from work as well as nandini. one day manik went in his room after returning from his work. nandini was already there. waiting for him.

M: so you were waiting for me?

N: should I wait for someone else?

M: no. I always want you to wait for me. for my entire life. like forever I want you to...

N: don't talk like this manik. you know I don't like this.

M: yaps. I know. I know you don't like me to talk to you like this.

now they are matured. they are independent. they know more about each other. and nandini is still disturbed about the whole incident. so she really feels insecured when he wantedly or unwantedly reminded her of her decision. though he respects her and her decisions. he would be with her in every step of her life. their life. by her side always.

she thought for a second may be he doesn't understand her decision. but at the same time she knew he was with her in every phase of her life supporting her. there could be no misunderstanding between them. because they are MaNan. they are meant to support each other life long.

manik sat beside her on the bed where nandini was sitting. she was a little angry on him. not because of their recent convo. but because he came there late.

he didn't went to his room directly. he first freshened up. then he came to his room. as he already knew she would be there.

nandini expected him to come to her first after stepping inside the house. but he didn't do that.

N: manik where were you?

M: ...

N: I know. you would be saying that you were at work. you got late. but that's not true. I know. I heard your car horn. I know you reached 5 minutes before. { yes. just 5 minutes } so why you came here late? you knew I was waiting for you. still..

M: soo you are angry on me for this? ok. as you wish. but you can't be angry for long. I know what I have to do.

he didn't try to manofy her. he just tried to get a smile on her face. it's not that she stopped smiling after the incident. of course she did. sometimes the smile was forced. but not always. at least she was happy that dhruv was alive.

manik tried to make her laugh by tickling. yeah. he started tickling tackling her. and she laughed loudly. rolling on the bed with him. yes together. you guys can imagine the scene the way you want.

nandini pleaded him to stop. but he didn't listen to her. they kept changing their positions on the bed. unknowingly they came very close. nandu could feel his hot breath over her face. he was coming closer. manik's eyes closed. he leaned forward. only inches apart.

then suddenly manik remembered something and stopped himself from going further. nandini's brows cringed thinking what happened to him. manik get up from the bed and stand bedside nandini making her sit.

N: manik what happened?

M: nothing. you must be hungry. I am too much hungry so let's eat dinner.

N: ya. let's go.

nandini knew something was bothering him. though she could guess the reason but was not sure. she decided not to question him about this now.

manik on the other hand was thinking of nandini. what was gonna happen wasn't right. it wasn't wrong either but the time was not right. he decided to wait for nandini. till she gets ready for telling everyone about them. so he was waiting for the special time when everything would be special. when they would be officially together.

hopefully that day will come soon.

nandini was working in her office. with navya. and these two when got together, how could they only work?? he he..

they started gossiping. they started laughing. sometimes cried remembering about dhruv. but then again smiled.

certain times we don't feel to work anymore. we feel to talk with someone with whom we can laugh n cry at the same time and won't be judged. the 7 Wonders were like that though a member missing.

nandini knew if her parents got to know that she did not do any work and just time pass, she would surely get scolded. but WHO CARES???

navya dropped nandini home at evening and went to the hospital where dhruv was admitted.

aliya was already there. navya sat beside her. hearing her simple cute monologue with dhruv.

Aliya and Navya were best of friends even before the 7 wonders were made. they could do anything for each other without asking. but now when aliya needed support what could navya do other than consoling her silently.

navya with all her willpower wished Dhruv to be well soon. she couldn't see aliya like this anymore. no one could. that's why they started visiting dhruv when aliya wasn't there. they just didn't know how to tell her to keep patience a little more. because this Little time never passed. and dhruv remained the way he was for some years.

but every bad phase comes to an end right. this phase was also gonna end for them soon. will they be ready for the change?

navya was thinking about how aliya couldn't show her true feelings to anyone. though all knew, but she never expressed. she never wished for anyone's support. navya always tried to make her get everything out but she never gave in.

navya's chain of thoughts broke when aliya started shaking her holding her shoulders, almost making navya fall from the chair she was sitting.

navya: what happened? are you okay? (navya said panicking)

aliya: I am okay. but seems you are not. I am calling you n...

navya: why were you shaking me so hard as if your life depended on it..

aliya: something like that navya. you know what I noticed just now?

navya: she signalled her to continue.

aliya: just now dhruv's eye lids were trembling. you know what that means?

aliya said with hope in her eyes.

navya didn't wanted to break her moment of happiness. but she had to make her understand.

navya: you were just imagining aliya. till now dhruv never showed any sign like this. nor doctors expected this from him. you just have to be strong and look at him once more. this time properly.

see he isn't making any movements. he is still, just breathing and nothing else. you look at him and you will see that...

navya didn't have to complete her sentence. before that she looks towards dhruv and got shocked when she actually acknowledged that his eye lids were trembling.

navya: that means he is responding. oh my god. aliyaaa. it's just wow. i am so happy. let's call the doctor.

navya said all this almost shouting.

navya: aliya why aren't you saying something?

without talking much aliya broke down in her arms. navya simply patted her back.

aliya: i was waiting for so long. so long for this day. at last. I knew he would never leave me, leave us. I knew he would come back.

I can't control more. I tried to act all strong strong in these years. now I don't need to act more.

I am now free navya to cry. I don't have to stop my tears anymore. I know you guys also feel like that. I..

navya: enough aliya it's ok. now let me go and inform the doctors. you wait here with dhruv.

navya smiled saying this. aliya also smiled. a contented smile.

navya first thought to inform their friends personally on phone. but then thought they should come and see everything themselves. so she sent everyone a message to inform.

{for nandini, her phone can make it audible for her. and also someone can read it for her too.}

navya's message turned out to be dangerous. everybody came there almost with life in their hands. they were really frightened. why won't they be..

navya's message was-

come hospital. Emergency.

actually she didn't do it intentionally. her excitement made her do this. she scared all of them.

but at least all could know the thing they were waiting to hear for so long.

some days after this all were happier. not happiest. dhruv opened his eye. he started responding. but still he couldn't move his hands or legs. doctors told that soon he would be able to move them too.

all couldn't wait now to see him normal. after keeping patience for so long, now they got too impatient that too together.

everybody was planning to not leave the hospital. as they frequently visited dhruv each day. but at last doctors strictly restricted so visitors so that dhruv could rest.

only aliya stayed there and dhruv's parents. they turn by turn went home to take rest as they also needed that.

doctors didn't allow dhruv to go home even after he started walking properly. but this news didn't stop navya and cabir's parents to fix their marriage date.

dhruv felt very happy hearing about that and also seeing CaVya together. he never thought they would be getting married day. but he liked them together.

CaVya marriage got fixed after 3 months.

here manik got lucky to be near nandini. now as dhruv got better he started thinking of their relation seriously.

nandini didn't show any interest when manik indirectly tried to talk to her about them. but she didn't even stopped him to get close to her.

one afternoon, MaNan were in nandu's room. at her balcony. manik was lying on the floor. nandini lying on him, facing her back at him. their right hands intertwined on her stomach.

they were lying there without talking for a long time. then manik started.

manik: nandini what to do?

nandini: do what you like.

manik: let's play some music.

nandini: okay. let's try something new. ummm...what about Piano?

manik: but where to find a piano?

nandini: well I have one..

manik: really? you have one? where is it? I never saw you with a piano before.

nandini: hold on manik. I really have one. but first I need permission..

manik: you have my full permission. show it already.

nandini: not yours ofcourse.

nandini walked away and called Ramu Kaka.

he made some phone calls and then some arrangements and took them to the store room where the piano was.



manik: it's awesome man. I want to play it now.

Ramu kaka left from there. MaNan came inside.

nandini: manik you know I used to play it in my childhood. I really love it. I still remember it's design through my touch. it's still the same. but my hands became bigger.

when I was young I assumed it to be of a giant size. now my opinion is changing.

manik: nandu, are you gonna make me play it?

nandini: why not? come here.

she found a seat beside. she sat there and manik beside her.

she held his hand and made them press each key she needed to make a tune.

she still remembers where every key is. she can recognise each corner of it.

manik stopped nandini and freed his hand from hers.

nandini: what are you doing?

manik: you are gonna play it and I am gonna hear. no argument. play the tune you love the most.

nandini then started playing a tune. It was easy. she played Twinkle Twinkle Little star.

she still loves this tune from her childhood. and manik, he just smiled seeing her.

don't know if you were waiting for this story or not. but here is your update.

manik was doing hard work for his research project as it was for his nandu. he was working for it from quite a long time now. so he became quite impatient for any result.

at last when his experiment was over he found out that nandini can't be treated the way he was thinking. she need a eye transplantation. nothing else can help her or other patients alike her case.

manik got very disappointed. he so wanted to help nandini as he promised. but failed. his total research project went in vain. it was a failure. he started cursing himself for wasting so much time without any better result.

but then he composed himself. he couldn't sit there crying over his failure but do something for compensation.

he knew that for nandini eye transplantation was next to impossible as her tissue hardly matched. what to do now?

then an idea struck him. he thought let's check. it wouldn't cost him anything to check. but he needed someone's help and guidance for it. he decided he would take a chance for sure.

cabir and navya's marriage date was near. their parents were busy for the arrangements. though cavya wanted a simple marriage without any hustle bustle. but their parents can't let it happen. they wanted a grand marriage.

their friends also took their parents' side. all thought that now they would agree. but as they were very stubborn they refused to marry. which actually scared all. and then it was fixed that they will have a court marriage with only their parents and friends.

to their parents' insistence they agreed for a recieption afterwards. till then dhruv's health will also get better.

(I am sorry everyone. I will not describe their marriage or recieption. you guys know me till now. I avoid these things.)

dhruv got discharged from hospital. everybody visited him at his house. he was happy that aliya was with him 24/7. he was thankful to his mom n dad for making this happen. he could see aliya whenever he wanted and talk to her also.

time passed and dhruv got better. one fine day, well it was fine for dhruv until he got to know about aliya's departure.

she knew dhruv would feel bad. but she had to do this. she couldn't be there till long. she thought about her self respect. hence she took this step.

when dhruv questioned her about it she answered him the same. she also discussed about it with dhruv's parents. they happily agreed understanding her point of view. later dhruv also got convinced.

navya was getting married. so as she decided long before, she quit the job. now nandini was alone and her parents appointed a new girl to help her. but nandini wasn't comfortable with the new assistant.

first because the girl was not so friendly and only professional. secondly she never tried to be friend with her. even when nandini herself offered her friendship.

she always tried to order nandu. she started deciding nandu's schedules without her permission. as if she didn't need it. the new girl almost made nandini handicapped, which she was definitely not.

all these things made nandini took the drastic step. as she decided to leave the company. she resigned from her post.

when manik got to know about her resignation, he became very worried for her. and went to meet her. when he reached till her room doors, he could see her parents sitting there discussing the same thing he came there for.

he waited outside. not wanting to hear there conversation. but realised all discussions went in vain when he saw them leaving her room with sad faces.

then he entered inside and closed the door first.

manik: nandu..

nandini: you also came here for the same thing right? I knew it. listen I don't want to talk with anyone. leave me alone. please.

manik: not even me! why nandu?

nandini: because you will also push me for the thing I don't want to do. mamma papa also doing that.

manik: but they are thinking good for you. you need to tell me first what made you do this?

nandini: everything. everything manik. I realised I am not worth this life. I was a fool expecting my life to be normal like you guys. I made a mistake trying to do this job.

manik: yes. you did mistake. but not by doing tge job. but you did wrong leaving it.

(nandini couldn't hold on more and tears welled up in her eyes.)

nandini: no manik. why can't you understand? I don't want to do this job anymore. it's not for me.

manik: who says that? I know you are capable of handling it.

nandini: you are very wrong manik. It's not for me. I can't even handle myself. I need other's help. how will I handle a company?

manik: you can. I know. and then you will also be able to see soon. I believe. then your this problem will be solved too.

nandini: how manik? you know right mamma papa tried so much. all these years. now I don't think this can ever happen. I will never be able to see.

manik: you will. I have faith. and I know. You have to try eye transplantation.

nandini: we tried manik. no use. it doesn't match.

manik: let's try once more. we may get success.

nandini: I don't want to try anymore. you guys suffered a lot for me. you don't deserve this. I can't do this anymore, cause worry to others. I decided I will not try from now on. I have accepted my fate.

manik: please nandu. don't say like this. why are you accepting defeat? you don't have to. we all are with you.

nandini: I don't want to manik. please. now don't force me anymore and go. I request. I also need my space.

hearing this manik had to leave. she was right. they should give her some time to re think.

the 7 wonders got to know this. they felt bad too. but as manik instructed them, they didn't questioned nandu about this.

the members of 7 wonders were facing new experiences in life. aliya was trying to be independent. dhruv still trying to recover mentally. navya and cabir preparing for a new life together. manik deciding some things he shouldn't have decided alone. nandini ready to lose the battle of life.

mukti who was already a famous solo musician, was witnessing all these changes in their lives silently yet.

now mukti thought that music can heal everything and change one's mind for good. so that he or she can think positively. she messaged all about her plan.

"let's create the magic again. let's restart the band. last performance before CaVya's marriage. after 4 days. start practicing. "

mukti wanted them to forget the pains in their lives and move on. enjoy as always.

like all the time they set up the band. manik with guitar. nandini n aliya at keyboard. mukti n navya guitars. dhruv n cabir on drums.

they started a song. it went well. so they performed on some other songs then. audience was going all Aww. mukti decided to take up the mike after the performance ended.

"hello guys". mukti spoke on the mike. "missed us?" she asked the crowd.

the crowd was hooting and cheering loudly. they were showing their happiness of getting back their favourite band after a long gap.

mukti moved from where she was standing and reached her band. she held cabir and navya's hands from opposite sides. then other's too held each others' hands. MaNan was on one side and Dhruliya on other side. they all 7 wonders members stood their together hand in hand.

they all first bowed together towards the audiences. then they let their holds loose. but mukti didn't.

mukti in fact dragged CaVya along to the front stage. then she took the mike again.

"hey guys. we are finally back. we won't be regular performers like before but will try to continue. we promise."

mukti looked at CaVya this time. "our friends cum band members are ready to get married." mukti pushed them together in front. CaVya blushed.

"they are ready to take the next step. please pray for them. and this performerance may be our last performance before their marriage. so wish them luck."

mukti was quite screaming all this while. her voice almost broke at last few lines. but she didn't stop.

mukti was holding the pain for too long. she was seeing her friends vulnerable but couldn't do anything for them.

she was alone. even with all these friends. she knew somehow they all have a partner. not knowing about MaNan she atleast knew they were best buddies.

but she didn't have anyone like that. we call her single. but being alone is much more harder than being single. with that also mukti wasn't ready to be in any kind of romantic relationship.

we would wish she also had someone who would have been her power. her strength. helped her through this stage. so that she could help her friends too.

but still she tried. a simple try to bring back the old days when not so much things had happened. nor they had so many problems. and she succeeded.

but now as she was at the edge of breaking, tired from holding on for so long. she needed nothing more than her friends' support whom were more than a family to her.

and she knew that she had them with her. for now and forever.

meanwhile when mukti was declaring CaVya marriage, there was one person whose facial expression changed. and there was another person who noticed this change from side and guessed the reason.

nandini was quite upset after hearing the announcement. she might be thinking that she and manik could be like this also if she wouldn't back off. if only she could be more brave and tell everyone about them. she wouldn't be scared to be in a relationship. they would also be something till now.

manik could sense her wave of thoughts. he came by her and placed his left hand over her left ones. that was on keyboard. nandini sensed his touch.

manik's right hand found its way to her waist.

"nandu. are you okay? "

without saying anything nandini left his hand. she turned and immediately hugged him in a tight embrace. she was wanting then to hide herself in his chest. manik too held her tight. like real tight. not wanting to let go off of her.

after staying sometime in each others embrace manik tried to loosen the grip a bit. he then bend forward and kissed her cheeks one by one. she was silently crying and how could manik let her precious pearls fall.

others weren't noticing this. because MaNan were in the back side which had dim light. while spot light was on CaVya. Dhruliya were also engrossed in themselves, not having time to notice others.

they talked with fans for sometime. and then left as they had to prepare for the marriage too.

one day after CaVya's court marriage. (receiption was still pending)

Manik to one of his senior.

manik: what they said after seeing Nandini's previous reports? Is there any hope left?

senior: of course manik. she can be cured. she has problems with her retina. so a retinal transplantation can work.

manik: great.

senior: but we need to do few tests. so that we can be sure that it would work. first we need to meet the donor.

manik: sir actually I was thinking..

senior: you were thinking what?

manik: may I be the donor?

senior: you? but I thought about someone who is brain dead.

manik: sir it's hard to find someone like that when nandini has a rare match. and I can do the donation right? there's nothing to loose after all.

senior: there is manik. how can you are not aware of this? if you donate your retina and some problem occurs during procedure, you may lose your eye sight.

manik: I don't care sir. I have tested. so I can be Nandini's donor. I really want to help her sir.

senior: manik try to understand. the procedure we are gonna do is still on experimental part. it's not 100% safe yet. you can be blind.

manik: we will first try with only one eye then.

senior: well fine. you are so stubborn.

manik: thanks sir.

senior: then inform Nandini and her family that you are gonna..

manik: no sir. you have to keep it a secret.

senior: what? but why?

manik: nandu won't let me proceed if she gets to know. she must not know about this. you have make sure. will you?

senior: why am I your friend? I always give in. (he said annoyed) promise I will keep it within us only.

manik smiled in victory.

Day before CaVya's receiption

Evening..

Manik came to nandini's house. to meet her parents. manik told them about his plan of eye transplantation. One eye only at first as experiment.

he didn't tell them that he was the donor. when they asked him he said that the donor was a friend of his senior colleague. (the one who was helping him with the plan.) he told them that the donor wanted his identity to be hidden.

after making nandu's parents agreed to the procedure, he went to convince nandu. which was definitely the most hard part of his plan.

when manik couldn't find nandini anywhere in her house, he went to his. there he found his nandu sleeping peacefully on his bed.

may be she slept there waiting for manik. manik too didn't wake her up. he sat there on the ground waiting for his soul to wake up.

after sometime when nandu got up, manik welcomed her with a cup of coffee.

Nandu: manik you again got late today. what took you so long that I even fell asleep waiting for you?

Manik: I was with your parents. discussing about something.

Nandu: and what was it?

Manik: nandu I want to talk to you too. you know what I got?

Nandu: what? promotion??

Manik: no fool. why would I go to your parents then?

Nandu: so what's it?

Manik: nandu your problem's gonna be solved. you will be able to see. We found a donor for you. you just need to agree and everything is already set.

Nandu: but I don't agree?

Manik: but why?

Nandu: If I will try this and this get unsuccessful then what? again everyone will be sad just for me. mostly my parents.

Manik: but why will it fail? don't you trust me? have you any doubt on me?

Nandu: are you gonna do the operation Manik?

Manik: no. How would I? expert surgeons will do. and I am sure they will be successful.

Nandu: when you are not going to do it yourself how can you trust others so much? that also for the first time they are gonna do this. I can't trust anyone. it's really big.

Manik: nandu.. ( a little too sweetly)

Nandu: no means no. I have decided. I will not do the transplantation.

he knew it was not going to be easy. but he wasn't someone who would give up.
