CHAPTER -3
Nandini, Mukti and Aliya entered the classroom and went and sat together at their favourite place that is at the last bench.
Every professor was afraid of these three . They were famous for their pranks.
Nandini was eating a bubblegum and Mukti and Aliya were throwing weird looks at the professor.
The professor gulped his saliva and turned to the board to start his lecture.
Meanwhile Mukti and Aliya got busy in their phone and fashion magazine respectively, Nandini was thinking of a plan to trouble the professor with one of her pranks.
Nandini burst the bubble gum in her mouth and the professor got alerted as it was a warning signal that Nandini is soon to come up with something wicked .
The professor without looking towards Nandini was giving lecture when Nandini raised her hand suddenly as if she has a doubt.
The professor first got confused as this was the first time Nandini had paid attention to his lecture and even got a doubt.
Professor - Yes Nandini tell me what is your doubt. I will clear it.
Nandini innocently looked at the professor and said-What doubt sir? I don't have any doubt.
Professor - But you have raised your hand to ask a doubt.
Nandini looked at her raised hand and then at the Professor.
Nandini - Oh this... Sir I was just stretching my hand that's it.
The professor's eyes popped out of the socket. He had again fallen for her prank.
The whole class started laughing seeing the Professor.
He immediately declared the end of class and rushed out after collecting his books to save himself from further embarrassment.
Mukti and Aliya slapped their foreheads and said- Nandu ki bachchi tu kabhi nahi Sudhregi na.
Nandini - Kabhi nahi.
And the three of them laughed and went to canteen.
The three of them were eating sandwiches when a person came and sat near Nandini and held her hand and said-
Hi Nanz... wanna go on a movie date with me.
Everyone present in the canteen froze on their spot hearing the person.
They knew what was to come next.
Mukti stopped eating her sandwich and got up from her seat.
She straightened the person's collar and asked -
Leave her hand.
Person- Relax Mukti why are you getting serious. I am talking to Nandini. Please don't interfere.
Mukti- Listen you Mr. Whatever sharafat se bol rahi hu hath chod uska warna...
Person - Hey first of all my name is Rocky... and secondly ye dhamki Kisi aur ko dena. Nahi chodunga hath kya karlogi.
Mukti - Listen you last time bol rahi hu leave her hand.
Rocky ignoring Mukti said to Nandini- So Nanz , Is it a yes.
Nandini - Ab mai kya bolu . Iska jawab to tumhe Mukti degi.
Before Rocky could realize , he was on the floor with a hard punch from Mukti.
Rocky wiped the blood coming out from his mouth and stood straight.
Mukti - Next time se don't even try to act smart with us.
Rocky- You... How dare you?
He was about to charge on her but one of his friends told him that the principal is on rounds of college so he went away after giving a killer look at Mukti and Nandini.
Nandini - Kya baat hai Mukku... I am impressed. Kya punch maara hai. Maza aagaya.
Saying this she hugged Mukti.
Aliya too joined them.
Meanwhile somewhere at a house in a village-
Morning time-
A man was sleeping on a cot peacefully when a small kid of 5 years came and sat on his back and started to wake him up.
Kid- CHACHU utho na jaldi...
Person - Kya hai Ansh jaa na. Sone de mujhe.
Ansh- Uthooo naaa...
The person got irritated and got up.
Person - Kya hai bol.
Ansh flashed his teeth and said-
CHACHU mujhe jaldi se chupao. Mere peeche rakshas pada hai. Wo mujhe maar dega. Jaldi chupao.
Person - Ansh Ab kya Kia tune.
Ansh with an innocent face- Maine Kuch nahi Kia.
Someone knocked on the door.
Person from outside - Manik darwaza kholo.
(Yes the person who was sleeping was none other than Manik)
Ansh- Jaldi chupao mujhe.
Manik - Jaa Jake us table ke neeche chup jaa.
Ansh ran and hid under the table.
Manik put a bed sheet over the table .
Then he went and opened the door.
A girl in in her early 20s stood there with a stick.
Girl- kaha hai wo badmash. Mai Janti hu wo tumhare paas hi aaya hoga. Hato side me. Aaj to uski Khair nahi.
Manik - Navya tum kiski baat kar rahi ho. Yahan to koi nahi hai. Mai to so raha tha.
(The girl was none other than Navya and Ansh was Cabir and Navya's son)
Navya- Tum jhoot mat bolo. Jeena haram karke rakha hai usne mera. Ek baar hath lagne do. Fir batati hu.
Navya went inside the house and started to search everywhere.
She saw Ansh hiding under the table.
She thought of a trick to bring him out by himself.
Navya- Shayad tum sahi bol rahe ho Manik. Ansh yaha nahi hai. Mai kahi aur jakar dhoondti hu.
Saying this she acted as if she went away.
Ansh peeked out from under the table and asked - CHACHU gaya kya rakshas...
That was it...
Manik palmed his face with one hand.
Navya appeared from nowhere and stood in front of Ansh.
Navya in a sugar coated tone - Nahi Beta rakshas yahi hai. Tumhe liye bina kahi nahi Jane wala ye rakshas.
Ansh tried to run away from there but Navya caught him.
Navya raised the stick and was about to beat him when Manik stopped her.
Manik - Navya jane dona bacha hai. Kyu itna gussa kar rahi ho. Kiya kya hai isne.
Navya- Manik tum beech me mat bolo. Tumhe pata hai isne us Bhola ki sari murgiya(hens) cage (or chicken coop) se release kar Di. Ab wo mere sar Par khada hai. Kehta hai ki mai sari murgiya pakad ke cage me daalu. Ab mai kya karu batao tumhi.
Manik - Uski itni himmat mai abhi dekhta hu use...
Manik was about to go out to teach Bhola a lesson.
But Navya stopped him.
Navya- Ye hi to hum nahi chahte. Jo kaam pyar se hosakta hai Uske liye jhagda kyu karna.
Manik - Par Navya... wo kya bhoolgaya ki tum kaun ho... aise kaise bolsakta hai wo. Tum ruko mai use yaad dilakar aata hu.
Navya - Agar tum hamare liye kuch karna chahte ho to tumhe wohi karna hoga jo hum kehte hai.
Manik - Nai... mai nahi karne wala... mai janta hu tum kya soch rahi ho. Par bhool jao mujhse nahi hoga...
Manik was about to go away when Navya said - Apni behen ke liye itna nahi karsakte tum...
Manik - Navya Ab ye emotional blackmail ka drama mat shuru karo.
Navya glared at him.
Manik - Theek hai jaraha hu...
Saying this he went away.
Navya shouted from behind - Saari murgiya pakadna. Ek bhi nahi chootni chahiye...
Manik - Ek do murgiya to chura kar le aaunga taake hum logon ka breakfast maze se hojaye.
Navya smiled at Manik's antics.
Navya turned towards Ansh and said- Ab tumhe kya alag se dawat deni padegi. Jao Jake CHACHU ki help karo.
Ansh - Theek hai...
And he ran away from there as fast as he could so that Navya won't be able to beat him again incase she changes her mood.
Manik and Ansh ran behind the hens to catch them.
It took them almost one hour to catch all the hens.
When all the hens were back in the cage, Manik and Ansh sighed and sat down on the stairs outside their house.
Ansh - Mai to thak gaya CHACHU.
Manik - Aise kaam karta hi kyu hai.
Ansh- Wo galti se cage ka lock khulgaya. Maine jaan boojh ke nahi kiya.
Manik - Acha theek hai. Bahut bhook lagi hai yaar.
Ansh- Haan mujhe bhi.
Manik - Chal do murgiya le le us cage se.
Ansh - Par CHACHU wo daantega.
Manik - Arey Kuch nahi hoga main hoon na.
Ansh took 2 hens from the cage and came to Manik.
The owner of the hens ran to catch him but stopped in his way on seeing Manik.
The shop owner gulped his saliva and said- Arey Bhaiyya aap yahan. Meri to kismat hi khulgaye Jo aj subah subah aapke darshan hogaye. Kahiye kya seva karu apki.
Manik - Kyu Bhola teri himmat bahut badgayi hai. Tu janta hai na Navya kaun hai. Fir bhi tune uspar awaaz uthayi.
Bhola - Galti hogayi Bhaiyya. Ainda se nahi hoga. Meri mat maari gayi thi.
Manik - is baar Jane de raha hu. Agar dobara aisa karne ki koshish bhi ki na to mujhse bura koi nahi hoga.
Bhola - Ji Bhaiyya samajgaya. Ap khade kyu ho baithiye na.
Then he saw the hens in Ansh's hand.
Ansh hid behind Manik and showed his tongue to Bhola.
Manik - Mai baithne nahi aaya tha. Tumhari Saari murgiya pakad ke cage me band kardi hai. Mai 2 murgiya le jaraha hu.
Bhola- Arey Bhaiyya ek aur le jaiye ap hi ki to dukaan hai. Jitne chahiye utne lejaiye.
Manik - Bakwas bandh kar apni. Free me nahi lejaraha hu. Le iske paise rakhle.
Saying this he handed Bhola the money for the hens.
Manik and Ansh went to Ansh's house with the hens.
Navya saw the hens in Ansh's hand and said- Manik tum sach me le aaye ye murgiya.
Manik - Haan Ab jaldi se koi achi dish banakar Lao. Bahut bhook lagi hai.
Navya sighed and took the hens with her for cooking.
In the meantime, Manik and Ansh freshened up .
Ansh came to the kitchen for eating.
Navya - Manik kaha hai.
Ansh - Wo to apne ghar chale gaye.
Navya served Ansh the chicken curry with chapati.
And took another plate for Manik and went to his house.
Navya- Manik tum chale kyu aaye waha se. Pata nahi kyu tum is ghar me hi rehte ho. Hamare sath kyu nahi rehte us ghar me.
Manik - Navya mujhe akele rehna pasand hai. Aur is baare me mujhe aur baat nahi karni.
Navya gave the food to Manik and he started to eat.
Navya- Manik Cabir kab tak aayega. Bahut din hogaye usey gaye hue.
Manik- Aaj Shaam tak aajayega wo.
Navya-Ok.
Manik finished eating and said-
Navya main jaraha hu. Shaam ko Cabir ko lekar hi lautunga.
Navya - Ok.
Saying this she went to her house.
Manik got ready and left for his work.
Done with another update.
In this chapter I have tried to show the bond of Nandini and Manik respectively with their loved ones.
Hope I have succeeded in showing the bond.
