CHAPTER -11
Manik removed the blanket and was surprised to see the person there on his bed...
The person was none other than Nandini.
Manik - Tum????
Nandini - Haan mai...
Manik - Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho mere bed par?
Nandini in sleepy voice- Log bed pe kya karte hai? Sote hai na. To mai bhi sorahi hoon.
Manik - Wo to mujhe bhi dikh raha hai. Par tum mere bed pe kyu sorahi ho? Aur tum andar kaise aayi? Maine to darwaza bandh Kia tha .
Nandini - Offo. Kitne sawal pooch rahe ho. Itni raat ko tumhe quiz quiz khelna hai?
Nandini got up saying this in an irritated tone.
Nandini looked at Manik and said- Ok fine. Batati hoon. Tumhare room ki window khuli thi to mai jump karke andar aagayi .
Mujhe us ghar me dar lag raha tha aur neend bhi nahi aarahi thi. Isiliye mai yahan aagayi.
Manik - Aur kya guarantee hai ki tumhe yahan dar nahi lagega.
Nandini - I am 100% sure ke mujhe yahan dar nahi lagega.
Manik - Kyu? Tum itni sure kaise ho?
Nandini - Kyunki tum ho na yahan pe. Mujhe pata hai ki tum Mujhe Kuch nahi hone doge.
Manik was surprised to hear this.
Nandini didn't even know him properly and she had so much faith in him that he will protect her.
Nandini looked at Manik who was lost in His thoughts.
Nandini clicked her fingers before Manik's eyes and said- Kaha kho gaye? Sona nahi hai kya?
Manik - Kahi nahi... Ok fine. Tum bed pe sojao aur mai waha sofa pe sojata hoon.
Nandini - Tum bhi to yahin bed pe so sakte ho na.
Nandini held Manik's hand and made him sit on the bed.
Manik - Mujhe Lagta hai ki tum neend me ho isliye Kuch bhi bolrahi ho.
Chup chap sojao yahan aur mujhe waha chain se sone do. Warna mai Tumhe Cabir ke ghar dobara chod aaunga.
Nandini widened her eyes and said- No no. Waha nahi Jana mujhe. Mai chup chap sojati hoon.
Nandini covered herself with the blanket and said- Mai so chuki hoon. Ab to tum mujhe nahi nikaloge na tumhare ghar se .
Manik smiled on Nandini's cute antics and went to the sofa and lied down.
He kept looking at Nandini who had already fallen asleep .
Then he turned towards other side and sleep overtook him.
Next morning -
Manik woke up as he felt a sharp pain in his left hand.
He turned and saw that Nandini was sleeping near the sofa resting her head on Manik's hand.
Manik forgot the pain which he had in his hand and admired Nandini's cute face which didn't have any frowns. Instead Nandini had a content smile on her face which was an indication that she had slept peacefully.
Manik slowly touched Nandini's cheeks and caressed it with his thumb.
As Manik was lost in Nandini's smile, he heard someone's cough.
Manik looked at the person who was standing at the door of his house.
"Hum andar aajaye abhi ya fir baad me aaye?" Cabir and Navya said in unison.
Manik was shocked to see both Navya and Cabir standing with a smirk on their faces.
Manik immediately got up with a jerk and as a result, Nandini fell back on the floor and hurt her ankle.
Nandini - Ouchhh... Manik tumne Mujhe dhakka kyu dia. Mai to bas tumhare hath pe sar rakhkar soyi thi. Itni si baat ke liye dhakka dediya aur Agar tumhare bed pe soti to pata nahi kya karte?
Nandini said all this in her sleepy voice without looking at the surroundings.
It was too embarrassing for Manik as he couldn't meet Cabir and Navya's eyes and So he excused himself and left from there immediately.
