CHAPTER-8
Soha walked in with her friends (Viren, Shaurya ,Jay , Niyati , Khushi and Priya)
They came and settled themselves at the poolside.
Manik went and sat with them.
They were talking on random things when Manik noticed Soha.
She was very upset with whatever happened in her room.
Manik felt bad that he said all those things to her and thought that he shouldn't have been so impulsive .
He tried talking to her but she avoided him.
Manik thought to himself-
She loved me there was no doubt in it but then I wasn't prepared to take our relationship further without myself being sure about it.
Manik's thought's were broken by Viren who asked Soha what the matter was as she wasn't interested in their talks.
Manik thought that it was because of him but she said otherwise.
Soha- Nothing yaar I was just thinking about something. There's one girl in my class. She thinks that she is really smart and every time tries to insult me in front of others.
I have tried everything but failed to bring her down.
Priya agreed with her.
She said that we have to do something about her.
She is really getting on our nerves.
Soha- Guys I have a plan. If you guys support me then we can execute our plan.
She discussed the plan and everyone including Manik agreed.
They had to find a guy to execute the plan.
Jay suggested that Manik was the perfect guy to execute the plan.
Soha didn't expect this and said-
No . not Manik. Why not any of you guys?
I can't let Manik go near her. I can't tolerate that girl around him.
Everyone said that their reputation in college is not so good and that girl won't believe them so easily.
Manik- Guys guys. I am not doing this. Keep me out of it.
Jay- Come-on Manik it's just for fun. We are not telling you to get seriously involved.
Shaurya- And BTW you are good in charming girls. And you have never lost a challenge before.
So accept it as a challenge.
I dare you to make the girl fall for you in 15 days.
Manik thought for a while and said-
OK Challenge accepted.
I am Manik Malhotra. No one can escape my charm.
By the way who is the girl.
Soha- But Manik..
Manik- Soha relax . It's just a bet .
Soha- OK.
Khushi- So Manik your time starts from tomorrow .
We will show you the girl at college from where you can take over.
Manik- Cool...
Viren- Guys now let's start the party.
With this they partied all night and then slept there itself as it was not safe to drive because they were fully drunk.
But Manik said that he will meet them at college and left to his house.
Soha was now happy that Nandini will fall in their trap and she could get her revenge but she didn't want Manik to be involved in this.
But then she couldn't do anything as now Manik won't listen to her as he had taken up a challenge and no one can stop him now.
Thinking of all this she feel asleep.
