Romance is in the air: Shikhar Pahariya calls Janhvi Kapoor his “dream queen” in a love-filled post

Janhvi Kapoor’s latest film Param Sundari has been in the spotlight ever since its release, and not just for the performances on screen. The young polo player couldn’t resist expressing pride and admiration for Janhvi after the release. Sharing a still of the actress from the film on his Instagram Stories, Shikhar posted a frame of Janhvi draped in a delicate pink saree, styled with traditional jewellery that gave her an elegant South Indian aura. Alongside, he wrote, “My dream, my queen,” and topped it off with a string of “wow wow wow,” plus a crown and red heart emoji. Naturally, the post caught attention instantly, sending fans into a frenzy over the couple’s relationship.

Janhvi and Shikhar’s love story has long been a favourite topic for gossip mills. From wedding appearances to private holidays, the duo has often been spotted together, sparking curiosity about where things are heading. Their playful social media exchanges only add fuel to the fire, with moments like Janhvi wearing a necklace with Shikhar’s name during film promotions making headlines. Recently, when asked about the marriage speculation at Pinkvilla’s Masterclass, Janhvi handled it with wit, saying, “I am very happy in my life right now. Neither I nor him has any time for multiplication right now.”

As far as work is concerned, Param Sundari presents Janhvi as Sundari, a South Indian girl from Kerala, who becomes the focus of Param’s (Sidharth Malhotra) search for love through an AI app. The film has drawn mixed reviews, while its vibrant soundtrack and cinematography earned praise, the film has also been called out for its stereotypical portrayal of South Indian women. Still, Janhvi’s portrayal and the cultural flavour she brought to the role have been widely noted.

With Dharma Productions’ Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari next on her slate, Janhvi seems to be balancing her personal and professional life with grace.
