Akshay Kumar vs Arshad Warsi: The jolly banter that’s breaking the Internet!

The makers of Jolly LLB 3 have found a clever way to stir up excitement before the film’s big release. A new promotional video titled Jolly vs Jolly has dropped online, and it is pure fun for fans of the franchise. This time, the two Jollys – Akshay Kumar’s Jagadishwar Mishra from Kanpur and Arshad Warsi’s Jagdish Tyagi from Meerut – are not fighting in a courtroom but arguing over something far lighter: where the trailer launch should take place.

Akshay puts up a spirited case for Kanpur, delivering his “Kamal ka Kanpur” pitch with full flair, while Arshad shoots back with equal energy for Meerut. Adding to the hilarity, Saurabh Shukla’s Judge Tripathi, a fan-favourite since the first part, finds himself trapped between their bickering once again. His exasperated expressions alone are enough to send the audience into laughter, with the judge finally tossing the decision back to the viewers. Fans are now being asked to cast their votes online and settle the Kanpur vs Meerut showdown.

The video has already sparked conversations, but the excitement doubled with the release of the official teaser. Clocking in at 90 seconds, the teaser reintroduces Arshad Warsi’s Jolly Tyagi, who insists he has changed since his earlier reckless days, only to have Akshay’s Jolly Mishra crash into the picture and challenge him head-on. The banter is sharp, the punches land with ease, and in the middle of it all, Saurabh Shukla’s Judge delivers a priceless line about how both Jollys exist only to make his life miserable. There’s even a cheeky Kallu Mama reference thrown in, winking at fans of Arshad’s earlier work.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the courtroom comedy brings together a powerhouse cast including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and of course, Saurabh Shukla. Produced by Aruna Bhatia, Dimple Kharbanda, and Naren Kumar, the film marks the much-awaited reunion of the two Jollys who previously headlined their respective instalments.
