CHAPTER-7
Manik's point of view-
I got up late today and as usual Cabir came and pulled me to the break fast table after I freshened up. Then we left to college.
I attended the irritating lecture because of Cabir. Then we went to canteen.
As soon as I entered, I saw Soha sitting on the table with our friends lost in her phone.
I went and greeted everyone - Hellooo... What's up guys.
Soha looked at me and I guessed that she was angry with me.
She said- Manik where were you?
Why weren't you replying to my messages and calls.
That's when I realized that I had kept the phone on silent during the lecture.
I said- Baby I am sorry . My phone was on silent that's why I didn't reply.
Soha- How can you be so careless Manik. This is not done. Are you trying to avoid me.
I thought to myself- Manik Beta gaya tu kaam se. Hadd hoti hai carelessness ki. Ab bhugad tu.
Then I said to Soha- Aisa nai hai baby. Don't spoil your mood. OK I will get your favourite ice cream . It will cool you down.
Saying this I went to bring her ice cream before she could start all over again.
As I was passing by a table, someone got up suddenly and bumped into me.
She was about to fall down when I held her by her waist.
She closed her eyes tightly.
I saw her face and it struck me that it was the same girl who was with Mukti last night at my party.
She was looking so cute with her closed eyes.
Then she opened the eyes and I got lost in her eyes.
She was looking back at me.
Suddenly I heard Soha's voice calling out my name.
I left that girl who was in my arms immediately and she fell on the ground.
Oouchch... That must have hurt her.
But then I couldn't afford Soha's anger again.
When I looked back at her Mukti was helping her to get up.
Then that girl...
What was her name?
Ahmmm... Nandini. Ya right. It was Nandini.
She rushed out of the canteen and my eyes followed her till she left.
I don't know why I was paying too much attention to a random girl.
My thoughts were broken by cabir who asked looking at me - Aaj ka kya program hai.
And he smirked evilly.
I asked him - What?
He said nothing.
I knew why he smirked and thought to handle him later. He is such a tease I tell you.
Then we made a plan to party at Soha's place.
But Mukti and Cabir made an excuse and escaped.
Cabir again started his teasing session but Thank God Soha came to my rescue and I left with Soha to the party.
We reached her house at 8.
She took me to her room.
I knew what was coming and what her intentions were.
She closed the door behind us and snaked her arms around my neck.
She traced her fingers on my face.
I tried to remove her hands from me but she was adamant .
She slammed her lips on my lips and started sucking my lower lip.
At first I was taken aback but then responded her by sucking her upper lip.
I pulled her closer by holding her waist and she was digging her nails in my hair.
We were sucking and biting each other's lips when she pushed me on the bed without breaking the kiss.
She was above me . She started opening the buttons of my shirt.
I came out of the trance and stopped her.
She broke the kiss and looked into my eyes and asked- What happened Manik. Did I do anything wrong?
I pushed her lightly off me and buttoned my shirt and said - Soha this is not right. We should control yourself.
She said- Manik what's wrong in this. We are not kids. When I don't have any problem then why do you keep pushing me away.
I told her not to keep too many hopes on me and walked out.
I went to the poolside and stood there staring at the water thinking about my relationship with Soha.
I have kissed her many times but couldn't go beyond that.
Whenever I tried that I felt it was wrong and that's why I couldn't go beyond kissing.
I couldn't take our relationship to another level.
I know for a matter of fact that Soha is hot and is my girlfriend. But somewhere I feel she is not the one for me.
I love her but there is something missing in our relationship so I thought to wait till I am completely sure about Soha. May be wait till we get married if that is destined.
I was lost in this thoughts when my friends walked in with Soha.
