This is a discussion forum.

Nobody is here bitching or name calling any member . Have a different POV , please share.

Criticism can run 24 pages or 2 pages. Respect it. Perhaps it gave a reflection on how fandom stood about Niti's statement.

Also google "bashing" and learn how it differs from criticism.

THIS👏

People are welcome to come here and discuss their viewpoint rather than skewing perceptions on SNS and mislabeling everything as a witch hunt for someone.

This is a democracy, last I heard...no? Why not exercise some of that nicely then?

Seriously??

Wow, all hail the skewing powers of the Internet...kaunsi baat ko log kahaan le jaa rahe hain😕...way to find scapegoats for everything...so anything Niti does now can be solely blamed on one thread criticizing her note? Bravo, ppl...Bravo...such intelligence, much wow.

Thanks a lot for presenting a readymade new list of excuses...clearly ppl are least interested in having mature discussions...it's all about skewing things in extremes.

I saw that too, and it made me cringe! Like please and thank you, but I do not want more notes or lashes. As if they need more excuses to feel like victims. Sigh, I just want these people to grow up, I really admire someone like Alia Bhatt, who is constantly the butt of jokes and the media, yet she takes it in her stride. The Ky2 cast need to thank their lucky stars cause people still talk about them and are going strong with their love and affection despite the show being over.

I hope one day these guys will understand and appreciate what epicness they were part of.

Certainly lacks the maturity and sensitivity .

There is a tragedy that has nothing to do with our show, casts or even our issues. It is much bigger and leave it alone. Stop piggybacking on it. Be human.

The list begins and ends with us fans. Call us whatever you want -madwoman, demon, inhuman - please feel free, power of internet .

This forum runs on celebs and fans. Their work, their statements, their world is discussed. It is how this world works.

If we wrote 100s of pages appreciating Niti , her ivs and work , in the past. We stand corrected in criticizing her too.

Again- stop having a skewed perspective.

I am just highlighting this because I am so fed up of real people getting bashed over their opinions.
If you have something to say, come and say it to our faces. You can agree to disagree but you have no right to go down personal. Learn to accept criticisms and negative feedback, It is to help an individual growth. And sorry, if any celebrity can't take any negative comment, well they shouldn't be in this entertainment industry.
If I remember correctly, SRK did issue a statement recently regarding tolerance/intolerance. Because he made it to the general public, AND that he is a public figure, he is opening himself up to the general public to go for or against him. Same thing happened with Parth last year when he wrote a note, and the same thing is happening now with niti.

Anyone who posts anything in social media, the more popular they are, the more feedback/criticisms they will get.

A bit unrelated but this quote is apt to see how one should handle criticism .
" Koi kami mere mein hi hogi, jaisi performance chahta tha waisi hui nahi. Galtiyon ko ab khoobiyon mein badal ke aur acha khiladi banoonga! " - Shikhar Dhawan after Media, fans and others criticised him for his performance.

^^ Respect.

How I wish, others take note. The nature of the work these actors and public figures do makes them vulnerable to public dissection of their opinions because they are social influencers. Like a comment made about how Box's thread was doing the round on sns and making a noise similarly what these celebs speak or react reaches a far greater audience and have an influencing power that goes beyond .

SNS responsibility and FOE goes hand in hand .

On a slightly different note, since I was still looking through old threads...look what I found...
Their hands tell a story of their own. And that has been so consistent from Day One. We like to say pretty stuff like their story was written in stars and fireflies, but it's really their hands, and all these myriad ways that their fingers find each other in every situation. In joy, in sorrow. In anger, in peace. In quiet conversations or in the middle of a raging mudfight. In togetherness or in separation. When they were strangers and now when they are each other's world. Always.

To anyone who's been watching KY2 with some degree of attention, it must be pretty evident by now how important their 'hands' are to this story. Their first touch when he saved her fireflies. The way she observes his fingers nervously tapping the table even though he's commanding her to smile. The ice-breaker between them during the first break scene, when they are weighed down by worries and desperately need someone to talk to. The way their fingers intertwine when they have their first intimate moment on Diwali, under the stars she'd gifted him. Musicana night, when she can't bear to even look at him and her tears are killing him, they stand side by side in silence, unable to talk to each other, and yet their hands brush together and leave this awareness of what they truly have. Her mad desperation to save his hand from being amputated, so much so that she makes herself walk away from him but can't stay away. Him shoving her hand away in agony because he's so angry, hurt, and scared that she doesn't really trust him, that he really might be the Monster. And then there are ones like we saw yesterday. How his fingers jolt, and then automatically curl into hers when she puts her hand over his. Their hands really say it all, even when they can't make themselves look into each other's eyes, let alone talk.
Maybe ppl forget that this is the same Box who has wholeheartedly appreciated and defended this story and Nandini for a long time...so easily she is now being mislabeled as a basher.
