Mods, kindly take a pause before indiscriminately trashing posts as usual...the random opening/closing of a thread has left us all with whiplash and it is unfair to ppl who are actually taking the time to post a valid reply.

So here goes my reply which I took the time to type out so it deserves to be posted:

LOLL@ the passive aggressive trolling being done here...haha how cutešŸ˜†

@Bidya: I applaud you for putting your point across in such a direct and CLEAR manner...while being completely respectful. If only more ppl could follow suit.

I myself would not have that kind of patience...šŸ˜†

So in the continued list of ironies per some new "brave" replies herešŸ˜†

1) Niti's note is being "over dissected" and ppl are accused of not getting the "context" of her note. Yet other ppl don't even want to read through the replies this thread to get the context of the discussions here...šŸ˜†

2) We are expected to sit and monitor Niti's social media activity all day to know the "context" of when she posts what but she isn't expected to take some responsibility for her choice of words...nice.

3) When the ppl in this thread were criticizing Parth for a DAMN LONG TIME and STILL continue to for every stupid behavior he exhibits, then these same ppl don't stand up for his "context"...strangešŸ˜†...why not just acknowledge the OBVIOUS bias rather than pretending to stand up for some form of "general integrity" here?šŸ˜†...So easy to toss around the label of "sadist" conveniently only when the criticism is directed at your favšŸ˜†šŸ˜†

4) Compassion isn't measured only on the basis of who shows sympathy to the person you have blind loyalty too...compassion doesn't mean one shouldn't stand up for the integrity of something...

Poor choice of words is no excuse...least of all when ppl dig in their heels and start to justify everything said by someone instead of taking a second to review context...a context they accuse other ppl of not getting btw...ironic.

Niti went on and on specifically only stating things like "My sacrifices, my discomfort, my family, my mahaanta for doing things for fans"...and then ppl aren't expected to react to that? What is this strange mentality where a person is encouraged to only sit and stew in their own problems instead of taking a breath and thinking they aren't the only one in the world facing challenges?

5) Also finally, I wish ppl would understand one basic point...criticizing Niti doesn't mean ppl HATE her...if you can't even equip someone to deal with criticism, they are not equipped to deal with life, PERIOD.

Instead of constantly ENCOURAGING her to keep feeling sorry for herself, feeling victimized, praising her for "her sacrifices", ppl should be encouraging her to be a STRONG role model who stands up for herself and her choices...instead of always finding ppl to blame...fans are the last ppl to be making scapegoats in this...yes even in a crazy obsessive fandom where many ppl do stupid things...standing up for yourself at the cost of guilt tripping fans is not the way to go.

THAT is the crucial point that Niti and the ppl encouraging her are missing here.

I will never wish ill for Niti...or anyone...I would only wish that she grows up and looks for positive reinforcement in her life rather than constantly succumbing to this mentality that she is the only victimized person in this world...only she can do that for herself if she is able to look beyond the ppl who skew her perspective on a daily basis by encouraging her to feel victimized.

I totally understand, Saamya...took me a while to type out the reply too and suddenly the thread was closed again...I have no idea why mods are doing this.

This time I took the precaution of previewing the post so some of the text was saved...

There is plenty still left to discuss on this topic so we ask the mods to atleast allow us that.

Box, sorry but I had to chime in on the reader/writer connotation. A writer pens his take, his interpretation and a reader can/should interpret the written work/note in his/her way. Both are right , in their own way. Neither the written word makes the writer "right" nor the reader with his/'her interpretation. Opine and criticism. If you are putting an opinion or comment then you should let the other side chime in as well ( hence this dissection of an opinion stated by Niti).
So the surprise shouldn't be about the reactions and the interpretations.

Even the supreme court order and constitution is freely debated, interpreted and CRITICIZED. it is not giving someone a taste of their medicine but putting forward a disagreement over certain views expressed.

Niti addressed the general fandom . MaNan , Parthian, Nitian , PaNi and the likes. So her comment would be interpreted and opined by a large audience.

I don't understand how the interpretation about her speaking for Parth has been made regarding the "uncomfy scenes". That might be some reader's [perspective but definitely not mine. Because of the excessive usage of "My and I".

She also generalized how Parth's work with her current boss was not bashed/trolled/criticized. Gross generalization when the same commentators who chimed their opinion and trolled Parth for the same. Their choice of the dislike for VG is their own and for their own reasons. Her assumptions was very skewed.

Another one about her work grievances regarding leaves etc . it's a management issue and she should have taken it with PH , channel..yet I am under the impression she is okay to working with them . So , I don't need why must she repeatedly share this with the fans- who neither have the power nor the understanding of the workings of her job or the schedule. I don't see the reason why she would mention this to the bashers- who , if at all , she addressed the note. Your work hours, your paid job is your own issue . Deal with it. If you have a problem , voice to the right quarters.

Now the one she dropped on us- Mtv, KY2's own creative has repeatedly mentioned that with this show they have tried to push the envelope. Audience was in the dark about the scenes, the story and the interpretation. Niti , signed the the show knowing the demographic , the reach and the content . she pushed her own boundaries , her own sensibilities FOR HER OWN SAKE. Not for fan love - thats an easy cope out. You cannot reason there that the sole aim of her doing those scenes was "fan love". The "fan love" is a reaction to the work she did . it was a job that she signed for and was duly applauded. Rather we all appreciated her dedication and work ethics. And her , what I presumed , 'unapologetic choices".

I don't know how the analogy is drawn with parth's return. Because that was , demanded by fans, trended and they take full credit for it, rather shamelessly. Still, it was Parth's own choice to heed to their demand. He is not writing notes stating he went out of his way or was "uncomfortable" but did it for fan louu. šŸ˜† . If he has , he would be criticized too.

No such demand was made to Niti , infact audience was surprised since the first kiss. That was the demand of her job ,not for her fans or audience. Even then , the choice and right to go with it is her own.

In both cases, however, varied the scenarios be the choices and the decisions they take are their own.

Niti compered her bashing with her other co-actors who are doing shows with her boss. Umm, disagree, both the co-actors were bashed during the course of her previous show, given much less love and more hate for their crass behaviour and bad acting.

Anyway, this is freedom of internet. As much as detest the internet hate , the sad reality is , there is nothing nobody can do on sns. Or ISIS would be banned from posting. You make your choice to pay attention to nameless/faceless people or ignore or fight against them. Just like I or anyone else cannot stop people on sns from name calling me for stating my opinion on a 3rd person. Their choice , their decision and their time.

Again , I repeat , Niti , would be the last person from this cast who I would like to troll. The only reason why I even bother is because it's her . Someone I invested myself in. Criticism is part of life, she and others need to deal with it.

If you can interpret ,, draw up conclusions after having observed my comments over the phase of this show and beyond then how can we stop others from doing the same about Niti. Where does the question of mis-interpretation comes? It's simply two different opinions.
Why must there be a middle path? This is neither bashing nor hate .But a critique.

FOE for me stands for those too who offend/annoy or hate me. I would criticize their comments/opinions but not their right.

Since niti has put the ball in fans court saying that she did some uncomfortable scenes for "fan love" ... its my responsibility as a fan to clear few things...

The show was aired on MTv... it was a youth show on youth channel... so even niti knew very well what will b the graph of her character but fans were not ..

Infct as gennie said it came as a huge surprise for fans when we got to see the first kiss...

Secondly to put blame on viewers that they want physical intimacy an thats why she had to compromise with her principles and had to let down her family is something offensive for the viewers as we r the same viewers who applauded the punch to the male lead... we applauded the way shadow crying scene was executed... we gvve kudos to her when she single handedly carried the show on her shoulders during hospitalisation track and created the same chemistry just by holding one random hand only through her acting...

We r the same viewers who found the sizzling chemistry between them even when they were not in one single frame during friendship day track... forget about touching each other

So to say that viewers only wanted physical intimacy is something very insulting for the loyal viewers...

We loved MaNan coz they were realistic.. we loved manan for their communication... we loved their hugs not for physical intimacy but for the way they reciprocated each others feelings through hugs... they were not perfect yet they looked like perfect... we loved nandini coz she was the most powerful and progressive female lead ever portrayed on indian television... we loved niti for portraying nandini so convincingly and now by saying that u hv to do lot of adjuatmesnts u r not only insulting ur fam base but also urself...

@bold
i totally agree to this
many of her fans made he look like bechari
which she should not
i remember one incident during s2 when i tweeted saying we want our old nandu back where i found on and off in her acting
and then one of her fans said "leave her alone aur kitna mehnat karegi wo"šŸ˜• ab kya bolu
some of her fans themselves dont want her to grow as an actor

we made post her n get bashed on twitter n ig🤢so much love
some fans are velle

and i totally believe in constructive criticism...learn from it

and please critics are hot haters
baki aise bol rahe hai we are all spreading negativity and hatred for her...LOL

this quote copied from google babašŸ˜†
THE TROUBLE WITH MOST OF US THAT
WE WOULD RATHER BE RUINED BY PRAISE
THAN SAVED BY CRITICISM

@genie
The only reason why I even bother is because it's her . Someone I invested myself in. Criticism is part of life, she and others need to deal with it.
