Finding Nandini in the arms of Abhi was the toughest sight for Manik to digest.. He was fuming with anger and was ready to punch the lights out of Abhi when Cabir stopped himm "Hey guys! enough of this party lets' go it's time for rehearsals.." He dragged Manik and the rest of the gang to the audi.. As soon as they left Nandini got herself out of Abhi's grip and said "I think we should also go.." Abhi looked at her and asked

"Are you ok Nandini?" Nandini took a deep breathe and said "I don't know Abhi if I am doing it the right way or not...I am not sure if Manik will ever realize or ever return..Sometimes I feels he' gone.." Abhi held Nandini's shoulder and said "Nandini..Manik is not going anywhere..he simply can't.. Yes it will take time to break that hard shell that he wears but we will break it eventually.. Remember the beginning is always tough.." Nandini smiled hearing this and soon they both walked to the audi..

As Abhi and Nandini entered the audi the stage was being set up for Romeo and Juliet to be practiced.. Manik was sitting in a corner with Alya trying to go over his lines.. He was ruffling his hair every now and then.. Nandini was standing at a distance admiring Manik.. "Ahem..Ahem.." Cabir's voice interrupted her thoughts.. "I know he's very handsome but Miss Murthy thora control.." he started laughing... "Cabir.."

Nandini blushed "Woh Manik is ruffling his hair.." She said while turning all red."And he does that if he is stuck somewhere..He needs helps with lines and I guess Alya is not able to help him..Can you please help him.." Cabir was surprised as he being Manik's friend never realized it but Nandini knew Manik needs help.. He went upto Manik just to test her theory.. "Hey guys! What's up?" He asked.. "Yaar Cabir! Perfect timing.. I need help with my lines Aliya ccan't do it man she can't remember hers also.." Cabir looked at Nandini who was by now busy with her own lines..."She's the one for Manik.." Cabir thought and smiled..

Soon the rehearsal began.. Manik and Aliya took their positions and things were going smoothly until there was a scene where Romeo had to pull Juliet in his embrace and kiss her... Manik pulled Alya in his embrace and soon after his dialogues were done as he was about to kiss her he saw Nandini standing in front of him.. She was staring at him blankly with her big black eyes and with tears in them.. As soon as she saw Manik was looking at her she looked here and there to hide her tears...

"Manik! What's wrong?" DJ shouted "You have to kiss Juliet here..let's do this again..." Hearing DJ Manik got a grip on his emotions and closed his eyes to concentrate... Soon they started rehearsing again but this time Manik's whole attention was on Nandini.. Nandini knew he was looking at her and she did everything possible to make sure she didn't had an eye contact with him...

Finally when Manik pulled Alya in his arms and went ahead to kiss her Nandini couldn't stop her tears and left the audi and Abhi followed her.. She went to the end of the corridor and started crying.. Abhi came and kept an hand on her shoulder.. "What am I doing Abhi?" She asked him all crying.. "Manik is with Alya..he loves her not me then what am I fighting for?" "You are fighting for your self respect Nandini Murthy.." Abhi said.. "Manik has no right to play with your emotions.. And what did you said he's with Alya..My foot..He's not with her he never was.." Abhi continued.."He was waiting for a girl like you to come into his life ..so now Nandini paste a smile, pick up your courage and fight back" Anhi wiped her tears and took her inside.

Meanwhile as soon as the scene ended everyone erupted in cheers and claps.. "Wow Manik! We never knew you were such good actor" Dhruv said.. But Manik did not listen to anything his yes were searching for someone..Searching for Nandini and he became restless when he did not find her.. Soon he saw Nandini walking in with Abhi.. She was looking down and Manik was looking at her.. After some time she look at him with her red eyes which were swollen due to tears..

Those eyes killed Manik, a strange guilt engulfed him and he could not look into her eyes anymore.. "Ok Manik are you ready for next scene?" DJ asked "No DJ i am going home.." Manik announced and walked off... Later that night Manik was lying on his bed trying to sleep but every time he closed his eye all he could see was Nandini's blank eyes asking him "Why did you do this to me Manik?" and Manik could not sleep..

He got up and looked at the time 11 pm, he took his keys and walked off.. Meanwhile nandini was standing on the terrace looking at the stars "Where did my love fall short Manik that you broke me so badly.." She said with tears in her eyes...Soon she heard a car pulling up.. She knew it was Manik so she hid herself. She was right Manik came down to soothe his troubling soul.. He looked up to the room in anticipation of seeing Nandini but could not see her... Nandini looked him from behind the curtains and sighed.. After some time she looked again and found him sleeping.. She took the blanket and pillows and went and covered Manik up with blanket and put pillows to support his head..
