CHAPTER 2

Manik and Nandini headed towards his room to have some more chit chat session .

As soon as they entered the room they threw themselves on the bed, laying flat on their stomach with the support of their elbows.

Manik: So had fun today ?

Nandu : Of course I had fun with my best friend..! didn't you?

Manik : Well waise toh even I had a lot of fun with my ... VEERU...!! ( He said the last word after a pause stressing on the word VEERU only so that he could start a new round of teasing again.)

After knowing his intentions of teasing her again even nandu geared up to give him a tough competition. And before he could figure out what was going on he received a flying pillow straight on his head and that's when he realized that nandu was no longer besides him but instead was standing on the bed armed with another set of pillows ready to attack him.

Seeing her like this he finally understood what was coming and then he took quickly picked two nearby pillows.

And within no time there was a pillow fight going on in full swing. None of them wanting to give up, smacking each others heads with pillows and whatever they get handy. The room was full of scattered feathers , cotton, pillow covers, the bed was all messed with the bed sheet half hanging down , with all the show pieces fallen on the floor, thankfully because of the cotton and feathers on the floor the showpieces were safe and sound. But still the fight was showing no signs to stop. It was more than half and hour now that they were fighting and it was finally dinner time. Manik still in the mood to have some fun with his nandu had no intentions to stop. He threw a pillow straight aiming at her head but fortunately she dodged it, and the next thing that happened left them shocked, their eyes almost popped out in horror. The pillow had gone straight flying out of the door and had hit Mansi with Priyanka standing right behind her. She was looking too much angry from her expressions which made them close their eyes in fear expecting to hear some bashing from her obviously after seeing the room in this condition . But what happened next left them happily amazed. Their mothers had too joined them in the pillow fight. And now it was the four of them in the messy room throwing pillows at each other. After another tiresome half and hour of pillow fight the all were finally exhausted and decided to put it an end. The mothers took their places on the bed while our Manan were sitting on the single couch with Nandu on Manik's lap, while Manik had his hands wrapped around her stomach and his head rested on her shoulder almost back hugging her with a content smile on his face. Whereas she was comfortably fitted into his huge arms which her only solace resting her head back on his shoulder with a smile not leaving her face.

But these two weren't the only ones having such a happy time, in fact it was their parents. Their mothers who were already present their and watching this beautiful scenario in front of their eyes as watching them this way together was something they always dreamed of, but even more than them it was their fathers who had just entered in the room to check what was taking all of them so much time, but what they both saw made them feel as if they had entered heaven. Which was of course because of the most wonderful scene any father could get to see, and that is seeing their entire family together having content smile on their faces and especially the bond between their children, which could even delight a stranger.

But soon all of their trance was broken when suddenly Mansi again glanced over the room and realized its condition which was now worst than a dumping yard. She yelled at the two giving them a final warning of getting the cleaned by tomorrow morning. The two innocently nodded their heads and all moved down for the dinner. The diner consisted not only about a variety of dishes but also more of cute family moments with a lot of leg pulling along with many Manan moments like, feeding each other, which was their habit now, followed by wiping the food off each others faces which usually led to making their faces even more unclean.

They all soon finished their dinner followed by a round of good night hugs and kisses as all had decided to stay there itself for the night. Manik's room being messy he had no other option but to share the room with nandu which they had no problem in doing being used to it. Finally the both retired to their room and wasting no more time crashed them selves on the bed.

It was morning now, the sun was shinning bright in the sky indicating a new day new beginning, and no one new what was kept in stock for them. The sun rays were peeping in through the window of a huge mansion painted in complete white and were falling on two bodies wrapped in each other. Both were wearing a peaceful smile on their faces. Yes, they were none other than our beautiful couple , sorry best friends , Manik and Nandini. Manik was lying on his stomach with his face placed in the crook of her neck while his hands were possessively wrapped around her belly, as if claiming her in his dreams as well. While nandu was sleeping on her back with her one hand placed on his neck while the other on his back. Due to the disturbing sun rays directly falling on his eyes manik dug his face more into the crook of her neck in to her hair causing a movement which woke our sleeping beauty from her deep slumber. She lazily opened her eyes and saw the most desired as well as the most beautiful sight, and that is of her best friend sleeping like a baby hiding his face in her hairs holding her tight protecting her even in deep sleep.

"Good morning shona..!!", she said with a cute smile on her face with a sleepy voice which tempted him to open his eyes so that he can see the most angelic face with a honey filled voice even when sounding sleepy. He finally lifted his head and saw the thing he wished to wake up every morning to. That is his best friend cum soul mate, his jaan ,his baby ,his nandu. And there she was lying in his arms giving him the most beautiful smile which indeed made his day. What can be a better start than this for both of them.

"Good morning my baby..!!", he replied in an equally sleepy yet charming voice which automatically made her smile more wider. After exchanging another few mornings and smiles with each other along with some forehead and cheek pecks they both finally managed to get out off bed to get freshened up and ready for the day. Manik decided to have a bath first while nandu would remove and keep ready their day's outfits. She not only had her personal room in malhotra mansion but also her personal wardrobe which mostly consisted of all kinds of dresses gifted to her by manik. Manik Malhotra who hated shopping had absolutely no problem in spending hours in a mall only to find one good dress for his jaan which he felt would be able to match her beauty. Nandu at first did not like him spending this much on her and would refuse it, but after all then manik malhotra had his own ways. He used to finally make her accept it by a whole lot of emotional drama like, "I know you just don't consider me your friend any more , you just don't value my feelings , I bought it for you with soo much of love but you? , if you don't take it I swear I will never talk to you again" and stuff which would almost take up hours and all his efforts , by finally saying that"I just randomly bought it while roaming around ", but while in reality it was all the exact opposite.

She was finally done with selecting their outfits and was now waiting for him to come out so that even she can have a bath. And finally her wait was over and there he came being the all time shameless creature that he is, with only a towel wrapped around his waist with fresh water droplets running down from his wet hair to his neck towards his well built chest and down to his torso finally vanishing into his waist line thanks to the towel which was giving him a sexiest look one could happily die to watch. He was indeed looking like a greek god emerged from the shower :P. And seeing him like this nandu was hell shocked, her mouth as well as eyes were left wide open and she stood still at her place. Not able to take in what was happening she couldn't even realize when he started moving from his place towards her. He was now standing right in front of her too close to hear each others heart beats clearly, but still she refused to react. He slowly moved his hands towards her face and closed her mouth which had remained wide open for a while now. Having realized the sudden movement and her awkward reaction she swiftly moved back and gave him an angry glare.
