May be I am the only one to think so but I don't find fault with Alya mentioning Manik. She was just saying the truth, the emotions she bottled up inside her for so long. She was hurt when their relationship broke (even if it was mostly because of her doing) and the way he moved on so quickly with the one whom she was insecure about. Her words doesn't mean that she is still holding that against him. She is just making a statement that Dhruv rejection hurt her more.
In yesterday's episode Alya's vulnerability touched my heart. I don't think her friends provided her the emotional anchor when she was in need of it. She was left alone to tend to herself while her brother ran away and her lover ditched her. Even now when she has finally spoken about it in the open Cabir is against it being discussed. Poor girl...
Even she moved on quickly with Dhruv , I mean it's not like she was pining for Manik ever. Yes it's her insecurity from Nandini because both of the guys liked her at some point or another that made her angry. But that was again her problem , not much related to Manik.
How would her friends know that Dhruv rejection was that deep, considering she never shared anything with them, nor discussed when they approached her.
Mukti has been around Alya , these two spoke about their heart-breaks a lot , infact an episode back , Mukti wanted to be emotional anchor but you see rather speak about her hurt from Dhruv she confused Mukti about Arya. Now how will her friends think about her state of mind. Alya cut them all out from sharing about Dhruv.
Cabir had a valid point, what do both Dhruv-Alya expect from fab5 , do they want the patch up or sort out the mess. Because Alya was against telling fab5, for the same reason as she felt fab5 interfered a lot in her thing with Manik, they patched them up whenever they had issues or they had to fake it for the friends. Why make your friends choose?
It's not the comparison that bothers me, it's the constant one-sided guilt-tripping that she has started forcing on Manik that troubles me.
She started off well but then she sidetracked and went on making herself the victim, that put me off. Her fight and issues with Dhruv should have been isolated and only centered around it.
