Chapter 18 B

After seeing off Nandini there were lots of works which Manik have to do. He called Cabir and asked him to come to his office. Cabir reached his office in no time.

"Manik..!! Is everything ok?" Cabir said panicly. "Or today again the emergency is to plan a romantic date for Nandini..!!" Saying that Cabir smirked.

"Shut up Cabir..!!" Manik said worriedly. "I am serious..!! It's about Mayank..!!"

"Mayank? Mayank who?" Cabir said in a serious tone. Manik explained everything to him. "I have to warn him to stay away from Nandini..!! You know how much she was scared because of that jerk..!!" Manik ended up angrily.

"Hmm..!! I get It..!! Now what you want me to do?" Cabir asked casually.

"I want you to get me his address within 2 hours..!! And also why he left on the day of marriage..?" Manik said hatred was clear in his voice.

"Then? What will you do?" Cabir asked.

"It's my problem..!! Please you just do as I said..!!" Manik said worriedly.

"OK cool..!!" Cabir said. "I will get you the info..!!"

Two hours passed within seconds during which Manik called Nandini four times to ask whether she was ok or not. After two hours Cabir texeted Manik about Mayank's address and also the reason why he left as expected he was involved in some crimes and the police was coming to arrest him so he left to search some hideout. Manik immediately rushed towards his car and reached at that address in no time. It was a building consist of many flats. He stopped in front of a flat and knocked the door.

Mayank heard the knock on the door he went to open the door. He tried to step out from the door but a hard punch forced him fall back on the ground in the flat. He noticed the person in front of him he was "THE MANIK MALHOTRA". Manik came close to him and grabbed his collars making him stand on his feet.

"How dare you..??" Manik shouted in anger. "How dare you to threat my innocent wife..!!"

"Wohooo easy man..!!" Mayank said shamelessly. "Why are you stressing yourself..!!"

"'Shut up..!!" Manik again slapped him. But instead of getting embarrassed Mayank laughed. Manik frowned and his anger reached to seventh sky. He throw him on the couch nearby.

"It seems you love her a lot..!! Don't you?" Mayank smirked and tries to wipe the blood from his lower lip which was bleeding due to Manik's super punch.

"Listen up you jerk..!! Stay away from "MY" Nandini..!!" Manik said stressing on "MY".

"And if I don't do this then what will you do?" Mayank again asked shamelessly.

"You don't have any shame don't you?" Manik said hatredly.

"You guessed it right Bro..!!" Mayank exclaimed. "And now when I have call you bro then I'll give you a friendly advice..!! Don't get fool by Nandini's cute tactics...!! I know her very well..!! First she trapped me and now she is..!!" But Manik didn't let him complete again slapped him more harder this time.

"There is no need you to tell me about "MY WIFE"..!! I know her more..!! She is a pure soul..!! Thanks to her aiyaapa that he saved her from loser like you..!!" Manik shouted and kept slapping him. "Stay away from her and me if you want to stay free or else it will not take me much time to get you arrested behind the bars..!! I have proofs about you crimes..!!" Manik threaten him.

"Hahaha..!! You are trying to scare me? Wooo I am scared hahahaha..!!" He again laughed. Manik was amazed by his contentment.

"It's useless to talk with you..!! You are crazy..!! Nandini was right about you..!! You are some kind of psycho patient..!!" Manik said in hatred. "Anyways last time I am warning you..!! A little harm to her and I'll chop your head off get that?" Manik said raising his eyebrows.

"OK captain..!!" Mayank salute him and smiled wickedly,making Manik fume in anger. Manik turned to leave. He was about to step out when Mayank called him.

"Manik Malhotra..!!" He shouted. Manik turned to him. He was now sitting on the couch wiping his blood. "I don't forget my enemies keep it in mind..!!And You are one of them..!!"Manik gave him a I-DON'T-CARE look and left his apartment.

"You have to pay for this Manik..!!" Mayank murmured spitting the blood on the floor. Because of Manik's constant slapping he got a cut inside his cheeks flesh.

Manik drove back home all they way thinking about Mayank's last words. He was too much frustrated because of him. He parked his car in the Mansion and went inside,he walked to his bedroom slammed the door behind him. Nandini was in kitchen. When she heard the noise of their bedroom door. She become worried. At the same time Suresh came in the kitchen.

"Kaka..!! Manik aa gya??" She asked a little worried.

"Yes Mam Baba aa gaye hain par bohat gusay main lag rahy thy..!!" Butler said in a scared tone. Nandini nodded and walked towards the bedroom. She was wondering what happened to Manik. She entered the room and but Manik was nowhere not in the bathroom.So he must be on terrace. She walked to the terrace and saw him standing leaning with the wall. She was facing his back she run and hugged him from behind. Manik first become surprised then he recognized who was she..!! Love of his life..!! His Nandini..!!

Chapter 18 C

"You are back..!!" She said resting her head on his back.

"Hmmm..!!" Manik just hummed and kept quiet. Nandini noticed his unusual silence.

"Manik is there something which is bothering you?" Nandini said making him face her but again silence and he lowered his head. She slowly held his hands in hers and looked at them although it was dark but she can clearly see that redness on his hands because of slapping Mayank.

"Manik..!! Why your hands are so red?" She asked worriedly. Manik looked in her eyes. Crystal clear hazel orbs has nothing but love and care,which was for him. He without saying anything pulled Nandini in a hug. Nandini was worried with his behavior but wanted to give him time same as he gave to her.

"Nandini..!! Can we stay like this for sometime..!!" Manik said still inhaling her warmth in his arms.

"Of course Manik..!!"Nandini said smilingly. She kept ruffling his hair and Manik closed his eyes,dig his head into her hair. They stayed like this for sometime. After that Manik slowly broke the hug Nandini knew he was worried. "Hmmm what to do?" She thought.

"Acha Manik..!!" Nandini said putting her arms around his neck lovingly. "Whenever my mood is off you sing for me na? Why don't today we both sing as we both needed a little change in our mood..!! What say?" Nandini said excitedly and for the first time after coming home Manik laughed and nodded his head. Then he prepared himself to sing with Nandini.

(Manik sang lovingly holding her waist tucking her hair behind her ear)

(Nandini sang and put her arms around his neck and smiled)

(Nandini again sang and winked to him naughtily)

(Manik sang and pecked her forehead)

(Manik sang and embraced Nandini in a bear hug)

(Manik sang holding her hands and they both walked two steps just to complement the lyrics )

(Manik sat on his knees and stretched his arms dramatically as both of them were laughing on their crazy thing)

(Nandini sang and danced in front of Manik)

(Manik sang getting up on his feet and pulled Nandini towards him)

(Nandini leaned on the terrace wall and sang this time a little serious as if she meant those words)

(Manik sang nodding his head and looking deep in her eyes)

(Manik again sang sitting on the floor leaning with the wall and Nandini too sat with him)

(Manik sang playing with her hair and she smiled)

(Nandini sang and rested her head in Manik lap. Manik caressed her head and put his arms around her)

(Nandini sang still lying in his lap and smiling all the time)

(Manik sang and nodded this time naughtily)

(Nandini sang and smiled brightly)

(Manik ended up the song and hugged her tightly)

After sometime they broke the hug and kissed each other passionately as if drinking each others worries and pain. They broke apart gasping for oxygen and Nandini snuggled herself in Manik's chest.

"Manik..!!" Nandini said after sometime playing with his shirt's button they were still sitting on the terrace floor.

"Hmmm..!!" Manik said stroking her hair.

"Ice cream..!!" Nandini said in a serious tone.

"What ice cream?" Manik said confusingly looking at her face.

"Uffooo Manik..!! I want to eat ice cream..!! Let's go na..!!" Nandini said excitedly.

"At this time you want to eat ice cream? You really don't care for your health..!!" Manik said scolding her. To which Nandini laughed.

"Tum ho na meri health ka khyal rakhny kay liye..!! So no worries..!! Now can we go to eat ice cream..!!! Please..!!" She said making a cute face and Manik again fell for it. She really knew how to make Manik agree for her stupid demands.

"Ok fine..!! Chalo..!!" Manik sighed. Nandini got up and started jumping with joy,clapped her hands.

"Yupieee..!! Ice cream..!!" Nandini said licking her lips. "I love ice cream Manik..!! And l love you more for this..!! Thank you..!!" Saying that Nandini hugged him childishly Manik just smiled on her cuteness.

"I love you too..!!" Manik said hugging her back.

"Ok now Chalo..!! We are getting late..!!" Saying that Nandini broke the hug and held Manik's hand. She almost dragged Manik towards his car.

"Nandini..!! Ice cream parlor is nearby..!! Why don't we walk to there..!! What say?" Manik suggested.

"Perfect..!!" Nandini exclaimed and dragged him towards Mansion's gate. They both reached to ice cream parlor hand in hand. Manik made her sit on a table and brought a big cup full with ice cream of different flavors. Nandini rubbed her hands in excitement and licked her lips seeing a big cup of ice cream. Manik wasn't too much fond of ice cream but seeing Nandini enjoying her ice cream was a proof that the ice cream must be too much tasty. Nandini was licking the ice cream with the spoon and Manik was just admiring her how much cute she was..!! He also knew that he was the only one to see Nandini's this side...!! Nandini was too much reserved but with him she felt herself relaxed and much more comfortable. Nandini looked at Manik he was just looking her. She silently extended her spoon full with ice cream gesturing him to eat. Manik smilingly licked the ice cream and Nandini again got busy in eating the ice cream and Manik again kept admiring her. When she ate her full she signaled Manik that she was done.

"Ho gya? Chalo let's go home..!!" Manik held her hand and they came out of the parlor. They were walking towards the Mansion. Manik side hugged Nandini and she placed her head on his heart.

"How much you love me Nandini..!!" Manik asked casually. To which Nandini smiled.

"I love you that much kay I can die for you Manik..!!" Saying that she immediately turned Manik and came in front of him. At the same moment Manik heard the fire of bullet and then he saw blood oozing out of Nandini's body. His eyes widened in shock. Manik sat down with Nandini in his arms. She was breathing heavily.

"Nandu..!! Please no..!! Meri jaan please...!!" Manik said patting her cheeks. Tears welled up in his eyes,making his vision blur.

"Mani..!! I love you..!!" Nandini whispered in his ears and closed her eyes.

Phewww..!! OK g update is here..!! It's super duper late I know but I have compensated it by giving a long one..!! I hope you all will like it..! Manik and Mayank's face off i tried to wrote it best and there is more to come..!!Ok Nandini is hurt now..!! Don't throw chappels on me for this and this was supposed to happen.
