i know this is not going to happened but i feel like writing it

Chapter 1

it was after midnight when suddenly Manik cell started ringing , he in sleep search his cell and disconnected the call , but again it started ringing " who is there ?" he picked it up and almost shouted

" Manik Nandini is not listening to me " chachi worriedly said

" what happened ?" he quickly sat and switched on his lamp

" dekho na she has being practicing in rain and now she is having high fever " she with concern told him

" Chachi i am coming " he jump out of bed and quickly changed

Manik took a deep breath and recollected

During the practicing class

Dhruv "Sir we should discontinue the class as it is raining out side" he was tired and hungry , Nandini looked out side the window she saw Manik standing next to the wall in rain

" Ayyappan he will get sick " she silently whisper

"you can go Dhruv , Nadini will practice for few hours in rain " Pandit smiled

"Pandit ji it is raining and you have asked me not to get sick " she gulp

"if you practice in rain you will understand raaga Malhar more " Pandit smiled

Nandini looked at Manik both made irritatating face

" sir just for half hour as i am not allowed to stay out late night " she said in loud and clear voice , she picked up Veena, Pandit came close to help her but she took a step back " sir i can manage " she walked out of the room to the trace and sat in front so Manik could see her ,as she didnot wanted to annoy him

"Nandini you will get wet here " Pandit said worriedly

" sir Veena is safe it is not getting wet, please don't worry for me " she look in the direction where Manik was standing he has moved in shade to see her" you said yourself to learn Malhar we should practice here " she started playing it without breaking her eye lock with Manik

Flash back ended

"for me she sat in rain , that stupid Pandit " he drives as fast as he could to reach her place , chachi was waiting for him at entrance

" sorry beta i called you this hour " she said as he walked in

"beta hoon na tou aise na bola " without waiting or taking permission he ran upstairs in her room

" Nandini ka Shahrukh " she mesmerize and closed the door

" tum " she walked out of washroom and shouted as he was walking restlessly in her room

" Chachi called me so it is useless to shout " he checked her forehead , without giving her time picked her up in his arm and laid her down on bed ,pulled the blanket on her

"Manik " she tried to get up

"Shhh" he sat next to her and placed his finger on her lips "have you taken medicine ?" he asked her

she pout and shakes her head in yes and then no

"what ?" he asked , she moved his finger

" i had but " she felt nausea again she jump out while pushing him away

" make her drink this it will stop her vomit "Chachi came with a glass

"this " Manik looked at herbal tea and made face

"beta you can only help me " she pat his back and walked to the door " don't lock " she walked out without looking back

" she had allowed me to stay here " he smelled it "it is disgusting she will throw me out with this " he saw her coming out of washroom drying her face

"Manik please go " she said while sitting on her bed

today i have permission to stay here so you can't throw me out " he sat next to her "please have this " he showed her the glass which he was hiding behind him

"yuck " she made face and tried to push it away

" ok i will take half of it you take half " he closed his eyes and took a sip

"Manik " she tried to stop him, stare at him in shock

"your turn " he brought the glass close to her lips ,

"chachi not fair " she shakes her head took glass from him without waiting emptied it , he in surprise look at her ,she cough , he hug her

" you drank as you can't hurt me " he kissed her head

" i never expected this from Chachi to force me she will use my weakness " she shiver he held her more close

"what you said ?" to avoid he shiver he changed the topic

" nothing "she pulled herself more close to him as he covered her with blanket

" who asked you to sit in rain ?" he removed the her hairs which were covering her face

"i can't see you sick " she whisper in low voice

"what" he look at her

" you were under shade " she drowse off as his warmth stopped her shiver

"Pandit i will not leave you " he grinned his teeth

Chachi peeped in saw the empty glassed placed on the side table and Nandini asleep in his arms , he was checking her forehead and placing wet cloth"Nandu ka Shahrukh " she closed the door and walked away
