Before dawn Nandini cell was ringing loud , Chachi who was awake walked in the room , " koi hai itni subha " she on tip of her toe walked in smiled at the sight, Manik sleeping on the edge of the bed uncomfortably
"KKHH ka Shahruk lag raha hai " she smiled and received the call
" hello koi iss waqat call karta hain"she whisper but Manik woke up
"Nandini kya huwa what happened " he checked her who was still sleeping in his arms peacefully
"Manik Nandu thek hai " Chachi pat his shoulder " koi pagal Pandit call kar raha tha " she said bit loud
" at this hour " he rub his eyes
" you go to sleep beta i will sort him " she run her hand in his hair and pat his shoulder ,Manik smiled and got emotional as he has not seen such motherly side of a lady , he stared at her
" Manik beta sleep properly , you will have neck strain " she could not stop her self as she saw him adjusting the pillow behind his head , she put the cell aside "beta you will get sick go and sleep in Rishab room" she ask him to get up
"Chachi i have promised Nandini that i will not leave her " he gave a weak smile and requested . she cupped his face and kissed his forehead
" i am so happy for Nandu that she have you in her life ,if i and her chachoo dies we can tell her parents there is someone who can take care of her better than us "she became emotional without looking at him walked to the door
"chachi please don't say all this , i am important , but you all are more important "
" beta i very well know who is more important " she smiled and walked out
Manik didnot knew how to react ,he was lost in Chachi words and her motherly affection
"Manik " she tried to search him
" i am here sleep " he hold her hand and kissed her knuckle ,
" that sarooo Pandit will scold me " she murmur
" no one will scold you shhh" he pat her cheek ,she placed her head on his chest slept again , he smiled
On other side of phone
" Manik is with Nandini " Pandit cut the call and started walking in frustration in the corridor of college he kicked the pot and breaks it ,he look at the time" it is 5 i asked her to be here " he frown
At 8 at Nandini place
"Chachi " Nandini came down shouting "why you didnot woke me up? "
Chachi pointed at Manik who was standing behind her with close eyes and rubbing his neck as it hurt
" he said that " chachi pointed at him
" Manik " she turn back and try to catch Manik
"Chachi mein na kab bola " Manik opened his eyes as she started hitting him
" I know Manik you don't want me either to take part in concert " she tries to hit him but he grab her both arms and brush his forehead with her's to check her temperature
"Nandu " Chachi tired to ceasefire
" Chachi Pandit ji asked me to come at 5 and it is 8 right now" she bite her lips Manik mesmerize her "Chachi dekha yeh bhi koi time hai akeli larki in college " Manik said in dramatic way
"Nandu Manik is right " Chachi at once become worried and said
" Manik tum iss ka saath hota ho " she asked Manik and he shakes his head in a big no
"Chachi he is telling lies , he is always there ,even early morning he gets up and come to college" she pinch him and free herself
"ouch " he ran behind her
" Chachi if he is with me then it is ok ?" Nandini was surprise on chachi thinking and ran around the table to safe herself
" Hain beta Manik ka saath thek hai " she was being sandwich between them at the same time door bell rang
"Nandini leave me let me check who is out side " she frees herself and push are towards Manik,walked out to open the door
Manik hug her tight in his arms and kissed on her cheek as Chachi's back was towards them at the same time she opened the door ,the person on other side of door witness it
"Aap kon" she asked
Manik and Nandini look towards the door
"Pandit Nandini's sir " he said looking at them as he was still holding her in his arms
" oh you are the same Pandit who asked my niece to sit in rain and practice and made her sick" Chachi asked him
" woh " Pandit stammer he was looking inside
" Nandu take Manik upstairs and get ready " she without turning said that
"Chachi i love you " Manik pull Nandini with her and walked upstairs
"i am sure you have asked Chachi " she tried to hear from stair case
"why you called her at 5 ?" Chachi asked as they left the place
" she had a class with me " Pandit said looking here and there
"how many student were there in your class?" she asked
" Nandini " he said and wiped his sweat
" ok i will come and talk to your principle " she without waiting bang the door on his face
" Manik yeh chachi na kya kiya " she was hanging from stairs Manik and Rishab had a high five " i am sure you must have asked her " she turn back and find herself standing alone there as both of them had vanished from the spot
At dinning table
Manik and Rishab was having breakfast and smiling at each other
"Chachi yeh aap na kya kiya " she said as she came down stairs
"Nandu because of you he had a neck strain " she placed medicine infront of her
" did i asked him to stay " she made face and said
" but you didnot let him move from your side " Chachi corrected her
Manik smiled and raised his shoulder , she picked up the medicine and placed it in her bag
"Manik i have made sandwich for you take it with you, and Nandu medicine " she placed it next to him and he nod like an obedient kid
"thanks chachi" he smiled
"Chachi" Nandini tried to talk to her
" your sir must be waiting Nandu , Manik please drop her " she said without looking at her
" Manik you are monster and you have made my sweet chachi too" she made face and snatch the sandwich from his hand which he was eating
"Manik beta koi problem tou nahi hogai " she asked him as he was leaving
"no meri cute chachi " he hug her , Nandini looked at them
"i am sure he asked her" she walked out in anger , he followed her whistling
In class
Pandit was avoiding Nandini peon came and asked Pandit to come to principle office
Pandit looked at Nandini who ignored as if she haven't heard
In Principle room
Pandit enter and saw chachi sitting infront of Principle , Pandit stopped
Principle " Pandit ji this is Nandini Chachi , she has come here with a request " he paused
" Request " Pandit look at Chachi
"yes she wants Manik to be with Nandini in practicing season till she stay here after or before college " he said
"Manik" he murmur
" hain Pandit ji Manik is the only one whom Nandini listen, she is sick and i dont want to take any rick , and most of all i trust him " she said loud and clear
