Actress Ssara Khan, best known for her role in Rajan Shahi's television drama Bidaai, recently announced her marriage to Krish Pathak through a social media post. The announcement came as a surprise to many, as the actress had kept both her relationship and wedding private until now. Angad Hasija, Ssara Khan's co-star from Bidaai and a close friend, spoke about her wedding in an interview. He said:

"Mujhe Ssara ne bahut pehle bol diya tha lekin usne decide kuch nahi kiya tha ki kya usko batana hai aur kya nahi bata na hai. Kyunki uska thoda sa ye tha ke main bahut hi simple si ceremony karu usme meri family hi ho aur that's it. Uske baad mein kuch time baad woh bahut ache se karegi woh btu abhi tak toh usne bahut simple, apne Muslim culture ko dhyan mein rakh ke, bahut saadgi se usne shadi ki hai aur uske friends mein se sirf main hi tha. Mere saare friends ne bola hai ke dekh 16 saal se tumhari jo dosti hai usne aakhri tak, apni shadi mein dekh tujhe hi bulaya hai. Toh kahi na kahi kehte hai na ke dosti nibhana Ssara se koi sikhe."

The marriage between Ssara Khan and Krish Pathak was an interfaith union. Following the announcement, Khan faced online criticism from some users. Addressing the trolling, Angad Hasija commented:

"Mujhe aisa lagta hai ke ye jo time hai ye bahut upgrade time hai. Log bahut aage badh chuke hai, soch bahut change ho chuki hai ab logo ki toh mujhe nahi lagta ke ye sab chizo se kisi ko bhi koi farak padta hai, kisi bhi caste ko koi farak padta hai you know ab log bahut clear hogaye hai. Pehle ka time toh chala gaya hai, mere liye toh ye bahut hi funny chiz hai."
